I didn't know where to post my question, so I'm posting it here. I'm basically making a game that's a Super Mario Brothers rip off for my nieces and nephews, but I was wondering what side scrolling program is the easiest to use to make a game like this? I'm old, which makes it harder to learn new things, and I'm busy, which doesn't give me a lot of time to learn new things. Any help is appreciated.

It was the balloon message system. All I had to do to fix it was change the id of the picture. Instead of picture 1, I used picture 20 and it works fine. Thanks for your help Polraudio.

Make all the excuses you want, but Lori is annoying and that's why I didn't like Season 2.

No luck with changing the variables, but it works on a new project, so it has to be a conflict with a script I'm using. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it, as I stink at finding problems with scripts. The scripts I'm using are: Personal Save Files by Polraudio, Eladia's Battle Equipment Menu by DerVVulfman, Sideview Battle System Version 2.1xp by Enu and Atoa, Continuous Maps by Blizzard, Stat Distribution System by Blizzard, Dynamic Lights by kellessdee, Item Crafting Script by kellessdee, Element Attack Armors by game_guy, HoT DoT(Poison Control) by Shdwlink1993, Moonpearl's Balloon Message System. As far as I know, only Dynamic Lights and the Balloon Message System deal with pictures. Could one of these be the culprit?

No, it's the change of character from season 1 to season 2. Lori wasn't nearly so bad in season 1. What also bothers me is how stupid everyone is, with few exceptions. It's the zombie apocalypse, for crying out loud, why is everyone so stupid?

I'm having some trouble with this. The spotlight is not centered on my character, instead it is to the bottom left and there appears to be a text box inside of it. I do use Moonpearl's balloon message system. Could that be interfering?

Spoiler alert, if you have not seen season 2, don't read this. I don't care that they didn't leave the farm very much, it was the writing that ticked me off. What I didn't like about season 2: #1. Lori. She's annoying, a terrible parent, lead Shane on, tells her husband to kill Shane, and then gets mad when he does. #2. Crappy death for Dale. #3. Carl is annoying. He doesn't do what he's told and is constantly getting into trouble. #4. Not enough Daryl. He's the best character on the show. #5. Not enough T-Dog. First of all, T-Dog? We don't even know his real name and we're going into season 3! Give the man some screen time! Some of it is nit picky, but seriously, Lori is the main reason by far. I read the graphic novels and I'm glad they aren't following them. No character development at all in those things.

Yes, I'm necro-posting. Sorry. However, I'm having difficulties with this. I set everything up, but the spot light is not initializing in the correct spot. It's appearing in the lower left hand side of the screen. Any assistance?

Season 2 was pretty disappointing. I hope season 3 is better.

This is great, but I'm afraid of screwing something up in the base game files. Would it be possible to put this in a stand alone script?

Is there a way to equip an enemy with a bow and arrow and have them hold the bow correctly? I use the enemy equipped weapons option, but the enemy holds the bow backwards and fires backwards arrows.

Not exactly what I'm looking for, but thank you for responding. My problem is that the recipes take up too much room in the characters inventory. Each recipe has a specific item to go along with it and I made 115 recipes, so it takes up a lot of room. I was hoping to have it be one item instead. Thanks again though.

Weird, I've never had the problem. However, you found a fix? You just have to import a file without the extension and it works, correct?

I have been using this script for awhile and I do not use animated battlers either. I have no idea about the first question, sorry. However, I may be able to help you with the second question. However, is this a character from the game, or an enemy? Does the error show when you start the game, or when you start a battle? The character set is a .png file, correct? I couldn't see the file type, because the name is so long.

Well, I tried to put it in the downloads area, but it won't upload the actual game. It keeps saying, "No file was selected for upload", after it uploads the game. I'll find a place to host it and put a link up. I'll happily upload it here, if it starts working correctly. Every file hosting site I find sucks. Does anyone know of a good one?
