Why don't we just use the new GDU site has the main site? I like suggested I think we should start over. I believe the fresh start will help bring in more active gamers. We also need members who use other programs.

Race is always a sensitive. Nobody wants to offend others so they are careful with their words. However, it is a very important topic to discuss. Today we are talking about race in RPG Maker Games. In the past there weren't any racial options given to us from Enterbrian. That changed with the release of RPG Maker ACE! The character generator allows us to change the character's skin tone. Thus, we can create multiple races in a game. I've noticed that many ACE users do not change the characters' skins tone. The characters have the default skin tone. Race in video games is something that has also bothered me. Most games only have one race or misrepresent other races. I am very disappointed that most RPG Maker ACE users do not create diverse races in games. I get a very racist vibe from the RPG Maker Community. The vibe is NOT from this forum. The vibe comes from many other RPG Maker forums. I have made this topic at other forums. Some people responded by saying that other races should not be in RPG Maker games. The staff on these sites are perfectly fine with racist comments. I remember a member on one site saying that Thurgood Marshall was did not care about blacks. That's giving false information about black history. Thurgood Marshall was a civil rights activist who fought through courts and won many cases. However, once again staff was perfectly fine with someone lying about black history. Thus, that community attacked me. A black man who stood up to racism. What are your thoughts about race in RPG Maker games? What are your thoughts about attitudes towards race in the RPG Maker Community?

If you guys really want this place to be successful then we need to post more. I don't mean spam type posts. We need quality posts. Even the active members rarely post. When I was active, I posted much more often. I plan to do so once again as my activity increases.

Game Development Unlimited's purpose was to get ride of the RPG Maker focus. The main focus would be for all game development. Was this even advertised to other indie game developers? I think GDU had potential. However, it needed members who are using many different game development programs. I think this site is needed. The official site will only create a monopoly. If you're not welcomed at the official site such as me(I was offended by their staff allowing members to lie about black history and make racist comments) then you're homeless.

Marked may you please make a topic about building activity and gaining membership? I would like the forum's top members to strongly and seriously disgust ways to make this place more active.

Are you sure most of those email accounts are not spam? I have a feeling that the majority of those accounts are spam bots. Secondly, I didn't get that email.

Welcome to the forums! What types of video games do you play?

I suggested that in the past. Let's keep the new site's looks and features. However, we can make a fresh start. This would remove many inactive accounts. You can send a mass email telling everyone of the grand opening to the new RMU 2.0. I think that is our best shot of boosting activity. Most people won't join a forum with so few active members.

I compared the RMU's stats to RM Web's(official forums) stats. People don't know about this site. I know I have suggested to restart the forum due to the many dead topics and lurkers. Do they know that this place is here? Maybe some advertising will help. Make an ad about the site's newest and most advance version. Are the progress charts still available? I know alot of people like those.

I strongly advise you to remove this topic if you want to give us a chance to build membership. Nobody is going to join a forum that might be gone in six months. As soon as they see this topic they are going to pack their bags to another site. Maybe you should change this topic or remake a topic about you taking a break from the site's development. In that case it won't be a turn off from joining the site.

I think child porn does reach the standard. Rape is a serious offense. The amount of sex trafficked victims is more than the amount of people who die from terrorism. There are millions of people trapped in the sex slave. How are police agencies suppose to stop child porn if they are unable to use internet records of people who download and create child porn?

The NSA has gathered many records from American citizens. They have records of emails, phone calls, text messages, etc. Some Americans are outraged and believe their privacy has been invaded. Obama argues that this is necessary for national security. This is mainly to prevent terrorism. However, I think it is also used to stop sex trafficking and online child porn. I don't have a problem with this. It's not like the government is going to come to your house if you are watching legal porn. No government agent is going to publicly post your phone records. In other words the government doesn't care about your personal life. It's not going to publicly show your activity to anyone.
