  1. I've seen alot of projects around using emoticons. I'm curious to know if there is a way to do this effectively, just like in RPG maker VX. I've searched high and low for one, its not urgent, but it would be nice if their was one.
  2. Ah I had that but I get this error: This is line 309 in the script and this is what I've edited: I added a long sword [iD 36] that was going to be made from 2 short swords [weapon] and 5 rusty blades [item] Could what i have written be wrong?
  3. Hate to sound like an unintellegent fiend, but how can I call this script?

Hit space under EOS and paste this The str[] relates to the string number, or in simpler terms the number ID of the monster in the beastry. So say if we wanted a ghost in our beastry (if you use the defaults as an example) it would be str[1] str[16] = <<-EOS #ゴースト Description must go here. It can't be longer than 3 lines and the text cut-off applies here as well. EOS So it would fit in like this: ...etc (Don't copy and paste this into your script window x3) str[13] = <<-EOS #ゴースト Another beast that basks in the jungle of Utocrush, and many other large forests. It is nowhere near as dangerous as Poison in terms of venom and there are many kinds of cures and ailments. EOS str[14] = <<-EOS #ゴースト Nightwinger are the second most common beasts that reside in the world, next to the Invader. Like Invaders, Nightwingers are seen as pests. People tend to also call them 'Pidgeons of the Night'. EOS str[15] = <<-EOS #ゴースト Invader are the most common creatures in the world. They are seen nothing more than pests. Soldiers are assigned to shoot them as a part of basic training. EOS str[13] = <<-EOS #ゴースト Another beast that basks in the jungle of Utocrush, and many other large forests. 7. Coincidentially the power box on my pc blew up a few days ago as well. If its to do with a computer shutting off unexpectedly, its usually in most cases the powerbox, its a pretty easy to replace.

The best beastry script is here, period. Momo's beastry allows the use of descriptions to your monsters, to give them more character and feel. Place them in the order shown, The main script at the top, comments in the middle, and the descriptor thingy at the below. To call this script make a common event and use this script: $scene = Scene_MonsterBook.new Main Beastry Script Additonal Script (Needs this to run) Description: Allows you to add monsters descriptions, I added a few custom lines as an example with monster descriptions as an example. str[n] relates to the ID number of the monster in the beastry. For my sake, come up with your own descriptions or I will come at you with a flaming mace :)
  9. Good luck to your exams Mark. I've discovered that exams are not an easy journey, but I'm sure you'll pull through. Congratulations Wyzrd and Polraudo, I'll be keeping a close eye on you two. I'm pretty sure you'll do the job well.
  10. Dissidia has been one of those very few games I've kept a steady eye on since infomation was first leaked about such a title early last year. For a crossover-based game, i think the execution of the characters and their relationships towards others is executed impeccably. Not once could I ever imagine Bartz stepping out in front of Ultimecia during a conversation with Mateus, not only that, but it was an excuse to develop characters who, previously had little or no character background. I think Warrior of Light, Firion and Onion Knight were the best examples of this. The behaviour of the characters were paralell to their behaviour from the titles they came from, although one small notch that I realised, was that Ultimecia lacked her accent on her 'C's (So in the instance she would usually say Kurse those SeeDs, it would be Curse those SeeDs, in Dissidia. Not like she actually says that at any point, but simply an example.)
  11. "I felt the topic title was deserving of a more sutble name, avoiding the cliche where i can. To introduce myself, I am known better as Zephyrsword of Youtube, and Obsession at all RPG sites. I am also the owner of the channel page 'Blackwing Games', pitching in to develop a series of dark narcotic tales, the Shadow Saga. I'm highly regular at RPGRPGRevloution and RPG Crisis, mainly the latter, serving my purpose as one that provides constructive critique. I guess you could consider one of my peeves as those who don't give constructive advice,.. but that is just me as an individual. My greatest advantage in the game making genre is the story aspect, my mind pulses with exotic original ideas, all written down in the form of notes. This was most likely due to the nature that my father and grandmother had both published novels at their time, so they are usually there to provide extensive backup when resources are slim. Supported by that, I work with computer graphics, developing images for DeviantART and concept works for projects, mainly Shadow Saga, but also assisting others with their graphics. Consider my greatest weakness is music, I can barely hit out the notes to some of the most simplistic tunes let alone compose my own original peices. On that part, I do really on external sources and assistance in order to recieve those materials. Well, you would have to admit to yourself, thats probably one of the longest greetings you've ever read. Perhaps even you didn't have time to read all of it, I really don't blame you if you couldn't. But free cookies and milk to those who did."
