Now, I don;t expect this to be a big hit right away, but I don;t see many sites that offer what I plan to offer... Speaking of which, I will need a very talented php developer to pull this off... eh?

Patience, young one. You know how long it too me to sharped my web design skills? 7 years, and I'm still learning. Graphic design? 5 years, and still learning. Pixel art? 2 years, and I still sort of suck, lol. I do other things as well, and they also took years to sharpen the skills for them. Its never too late to pick something up and go with it, but it takes a long time to get good at it. Some people are born with a natural talent for some things, but others, like myself, worked hard at them. I know you've probably worked very hard at everything, but the key here is to pick one for a while, and focus on that single thing in order that you may sharpen your skills with it. I know, everything feels like a huge burden right now, I know how that feels. I had clinical depression, grades 6-8m and I was pretty darn close to thoughts of suicide. Everything was going wrong in my life, but now that I'm out of that, I can tell you. Life has its ups and downs, and I was in a down. a very deep down that I expect won;t ever happen again. I took that opportunity to learn, and here I am, with about 3 different areas of talent, and about 3 things within each area. I don;t know exactly what to type, but read this; Never give up. Never. Life may smack you around sometimes, but you gotta learn to smack it back, haha. As for your faith, I feel I can help you with that, but I would recommend a private discussion :/ ps: Hooray for RMXPU being an outlet for advice! lolololol

I was a moderator on a forum that was an Affiliate to RMXP unlimited. I think I came here originally to advertise out forums a bit more... Long story short, our forums were up for a long time... I think 6 years total. I was a great forum, but like all things, it had its end. Now, RMXP unlimited is the only friendly RPG Maker community left.

Lol... so, I decided to start skinnging the forums for one of the sites I made, and without using the tutorial, its so dang easy! lol I should have these forums fully skinned by the end of the weekend! Its awesome.

I'm guessing that you call a certain script within the event, but seeing as how I don;t know scripting, or which script to call, you should speak more with the main developer, or others who use his system.

Eclipse is programmed with an outdated language, with choppy features, and a horrid community. It is in no way an engine to use and expect to make any sort of successful game of it.

It is actually a very easy fix. Put it into photoshop, use the offset filter. set it to 16x16. Then the obvious tile problem is lined up along the center. Then you can use the stamp tool to grab other areas that work, and place them over that spot. Its how you make 3D textures, and since RPG Maker doesn't use "real" pixel art, it works for that too.

Fixing the Default grass tile set is really simple actually. Yours is really nice, but some more contrast in the colors would be nice, because I kind o liked the defaults where it shows more of a texture to it.

Hey, I'm reskinning my minecraft to use RM2K "textures" and its lookin pretty great so far. I only have a small portion of RM2K tiles though, so if anyone has them, can you post them here? it would really help. Nevermind, i found the RTP and now have all I need.

The colours are hard to see against the black. Its also a very dull scheme choice. Try to study other templates/designs and grab inspiration from them. Its not easy to jump right into website making and come up with a great colour scheme.

hey now, we're talking the original 2k. not 2k3. Funny though, the only real difference in the two was the battle system.

Haha, I dont plan this at all, I jsut have a system I use so Ic an find each part while doing the site. It helps for cross-browser compatibility issues. The layout you see is actually something I picked up from a professional web designer who lives in Australia. He was an admin at a forum where I was a moderator. He was like my teacher for a lot of web stuff.
