Ahh... 2 small things: 1 - I'm changing it (again) and should have a newer demo in a few hours 2 - if you do want to play this one (which is riddled with bugs that I totally overlooked =I) than just put the attached file in the Graphics/Pictures/back folder Thanks for taking an interest!! first in a while xD EDIT: Oooh bullett!     Thats really good! About horrible artist xD The only thing I'd say is the cheeks are a bit strange, so she doesn't need the grey bits, and the eyes are slightly uneven... (The left ones more round) other than that it's great! If you could possibly just make the right eye slightly rounder? I can edit out the cheek bits myself. Thanks!

    Hiya! So from what I understand, lineart is where you just go over a drawn picture in photoshop or something similar... sounds simple enough, but not for simple me! I failed epically! So if someone to just lineartify the picture attached and do general changes to that background (make it whiter) and get rid of the massive crease through the middle (my friend drew it and she folded it so it would fit in her pocket D: ) I'll credit obviously! Thanks!

  6. I don't know if your version of the UMS is the same as mine: But (I assume) it should work the same as this one regardless? Try this and see if it works: Script Call: $game_system.face_graphic = "character 1" $game_system.name = "character 1" Text: Hey Script Call: $game_system.face_graphic = "character 2" $game_system.name = "character 2" Text: Hey Script Call: $game_system.face_graphic = "" $game_system.name = "" Text: You are trying to light a fire Replace the .face_graphic = "character 1/2" with the filename of the face graphic, and .name = "character 1/2" with the name of the character that's speaking. On the last script call, don't put anything in the "" as this shows no name window and no face graphic (if desired) If the script you're using isn't the same, then I would recommend that you use this one. There might be a a bit more to do in terms of script calls, but it's not so bad once you get the hang of it. Hope I could help!

    Script Controls

    This one be about the Light script Descendant of Orr put together for me waaaay back when. (http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/6841-light-script-request/page__p__59228__hl__%22light+script+request%22__fromsearch__1#entry59228) I can't recall if the 2nd script was the finished product, as I don't believe I was told :S *Confusion rating: SH* But basically I can't figure out (since I'm a scripting genius) weather the additional features I originally asked for are there. And those would be controlling the Flicker (Expansion & Contraction), Brightness, Player/NPC Shadows through Comments in an event. (I know that the shadow thing isn't there at all) So if there's any thoughts, please feel 100% free to just drop them in :D Thanks EDIT: If ye be a scripter and ye be reading this, I'm also using Leon's Check_Time system (Where it changes the screen colour tone based on your computers clock) so it would be cool if you could edit the script a bit so that I can set the light to come on at a certain time (again through comments) I'll ask Kellessdee to do a Sun Timer to go in the menu since he know his own menu better than anyone (: Thanks!

  10. For some reason, my attempts at recolouring the RTP 050-Soldier02 Character & Battler graphics are failing. I've tried using Photoshop and GIMP and now I just give up! I just need the plumes of the soldiers helmets all different colours (Like Green, Blue, Orange, Purple) Just so I can distinguish between the types of soldier in my game :D Help is greatly appreciated ^_^

    Ideas?

    So I'm remaking my temple map (and changing some of the terminology) since I made it through the whole temple in 2 and a half minutes out of a possible 20 (Yes! I finally found how to fix the timers xD) My thoughts is to make it longer by having all different trials, puzzles and minigames. So if anyone has any ideas for that, or any cool minigame scripts that an't moderny stuff, then please share :D Thanks!

  15. This is a bit late :sweatdrop: but oh well (: The script is awesome functionally, but could you possibly change it visually? So it looks like this: http://s1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa476/bluecrystalis94/?action=view&current=menudiag.png (It won't let me put the picture here... sorry :( ) (The powers of paint ^_^ ) The text in the long menu doesn't appear until you've chosen to book to read, and the text on the title bar thing changes from "Select Book to read" to "Select Chapter" (not what it says on the picture :P ) And all of the 4 windows stay open through the whole thing. Thats all the changes I would like (: Thank you! P.s: Has there been any development on the junctioning script? :sweatdrop:

    Weight Script

    Hey! This is gonna be the last script request for a while since I've got all tied up in the script side of things. But before I get into that request, I need a bit of support with the XMB Menu Script by Kellessdee. It's quite simple actually (: I just want to replace the Map Name bar at the bottom with the value of a Variable instead of the map name (Which would be the value of the TP Variable) and I would like to add a "Books" option to the Items menu, which will take the player to the Book scene. And I would also like to remove the Party Switch option (: And now for the request! I need a player weight script, with a hunger/thirst script. Since I'm terrible at scripting, it would be awesome if the Food & Drink was labelled in the script using the Item IDs (If you know what I mean?) Heres a strange little thing to show you what I mean (I'll try and make it look like a script as much as possible): # Food Items (ID) # Category 1 (Increase Weight by 1) 1 => 002 2 => 009 3 => 010 4 => 011 5 => 015 # Category 2 (Increase Weight by 2) ---------And so on up to Category 10----------- For this Increase Weight thing, it would increase a variable by the amount I.e: Player Weight = 10 (Normal) > Player Eats Cheese > Player Weight = 15 (Over weight) > Player eats more cheese > Player Weight = 20 (Obese) The weight would also need to change the player move speed like so: Weight = 5-9 (Slow) Weight = 10 - 14 (Fast) Weight = 15 - 19 (Slow) Weight = 20 - 25 (Very slow) This would require a bar either in the menu, or in the corner of the map screen, to show the weight (Going from Red-Green-Yellow-Red) with the weight value shown above/next to it. And also Hunger and Thirst bars Hunger going from Red-Yellow-Green, and thirst going from Light Blue-Medium Blue-Dark Blue And finally, the weight would need to drop by 1 point every however many steps, and the hunger and thirst would need to steadily drop (and increase when replenished with food/water). When either Hunger or Thirst metre reach 0, the player would need to be transferred to a Hospital map. Sorry its so lengthy! But it is my last one for a while (: I hope it can be done, and if the bars are in the menu then it needs to be compatible with the XMB Menu Script! Thanks sooo much xD

    Yep, the 2 players that can summon would junction them from the main menu, and wouldn't be able to anywhere else (So I'm guessing this would just teach the skill when junctioned and then take it away when its not?) And yeah, Aydes are the summons and are only available to the 2 characters, other than those 2, all the other characters have the same menus.

    Hiya :D This is part script request/part support/part eventing. Just wanted to know how to make a FF8 GF style summon system through events/scripts where the summon is called, you wait a while, summon comes, delivers a devastating blow and then goes again. Like this if you haven't seen it: Youtube Video -> I would also like (if possible) the junction type thing where you assign the summons to characters (in this case it would only be to 2 characters, when they are in the party) And also, I would like to split the battle menu. The default menu goes Attack, Skill, Defend, Item But is there a way to make character specific menus? E.g: Character 1: Attack, Magic, Aydes, Defend, Item Character 2: Attack, Techniques, Defend, Item Character 3: (Same as above) Character 4: (Same as C1) But without changing the Width/Hight of the menu? I have the default menu system and Paradogs ATB Thanks :D
  20. That's awesome :D Yeah, you pick which one you want first (tutorials/glossary) from the menu, then you choose the book (so basically how it works now but two separate things)
