Will the System Recovery erase all the files I have on the computer? I think the CD might be around here somewhere, then again it's probably long gone by now :( What does the XP CD do again?Thanks, I might need advice later, uh-oh..... My homework was on there, great <_< I'm doomed.

What, why?

I can't get into Safe Mode anymore :( When I got in it, I tried to put everything important onto flashdrives, but a stupid window messege kept appearing asking me if I wanted to comtinue with Safe Mode, or something like that, basiclty a Yes/No messege. Thanks to that messege, it stopped the transfer from computer to flashdrive. Then, it restarted itself, in Safe Mode, how does that happen? Oh, almost forgot, System Restore worked before the virus, well.... I could do a System Restore. But what does a System Recovery do exactly? It's button F10 when the computer is loading, what does it do? I might try it if it'll help. Edit: I'm basicly stuck in a loop where the computer takes me to the Windows logo for about 10 seconds, then it restarts.

HDD? You lost me. The virus wouldn't let me open the program that opens when you press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. It made a weird background picture, it was blue with a black box in the middle, and it had red words talking about an infection. It wouldn't let me do a system restore :( Also, in that icon list in the bottom right of the computer screen, there was a red circle which had a white X in it. I though I got rid of it with the virus scanner, but I guess not :( Also, weird question, what happens when you finally enter Safe Mode of the computer, and it resets itself a couple of minutes you are in Safe Mode trying to put any/all things important onto a flashdrive? And, is a System Restore the same as a Reboot, losing everything in a re-something?

I was hit with another virus, so I did the usual scan and delete. But during one of the full scans, I left the computer alone for a bit, when I return, it somehow restarted itself. Now it wont go onto the desktop, it'll start, ask me if I want to run in safe mode and other versions of safe mode, or if I want to run normally. No matter what I choose, it'll restart again. Before it does restart, a weird blue screen appears with words on it, I can't read since it's only up for half a second. Is there a way to save my computer, or is it dead? Hope it's not dead, I have games I've worked on a whole year on, among other important things. I can try to describe the virus if it'll help.

Yeah, which means I won't be much adctive for a few days :( I'm in my second semester, ending it soon. So the break won't be that relaxing? I was hoping it would be :(

This sounds like me last year, I wanted to visit my friend on MSN. She's in the UK (forgot which part of the UK :(, I dont think I ever did ask, or did I already?), and I'm in america :( So I probably know how you feel.

So the government makes the viruses, it all makes sence now.

So you and me are dealing with the same problem, the distance. Then again.... This might be a stupid question to ask, but is she in america?

That can be done with a Common Event, a Switch, and a Variable. Oh, and the pictures with the names of the maps. It'd be tough to set up, but it might be easier to do.

I think that was in some ring menu scripts. Showing the name of the map whenever you open the menu. I think you can try to take the "Show Map Name" setting from the Ring Menu and add it, somewhere, into the Minimap script. But I don't know how to do that or if that can be done without some difficult modifications.

Would it be something like a userbar size? Also, what does Magitek Elite look like? I might be able to make something, I just need to know a few things.

Yep, Dells suck. But it's the only computer I have that lets me play my MMORPGs since the one I'm using now can't :( So I have to deal with it being slow, even though playing one of the MMORPGs might make it.... I think the word is "crash", since I can't run that many things at once.

That's kind of scary, and kind of pointless. If they have time for that, then can't they do something more important?

Yay, this can be useful for my really slow Dell computer :) I'll try this once I'm able to. I'd just usually press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and end a few things on the "Processes" list.

Sounds like you really like her. From what I've heard and seen, this is natural. One way to get your mind off of things is to get them onto another thing for a while, like watching some TV, playing video games, reading a book, -insert another example here :P-. Fun things to do. Edit: And that last line sounds like something Quagmire from Family Guy might say, maybe :P Not that I know of.
