I want to see player's make their own match up's i don't belive it should always be good vs evil. I'd like a mixture of good vs good and evil vs evil. Moreover doing it for the player. People post one villain or hero from your game. I'm thinking about going through with this. (if you don't have a villain/hero just one or the other will work, but I'd prefer hero or hero and villain.)

(Wasn't sure where to put this. Since this isn't recruiting for a dev team or something, I just wanted to put this idea out and let it fly.) So for an examples sake, Nintendo's got Smash bros. Pretty fun, and brings representation of multiple games. Xenoblade was made more well known with the help of smash, so why not make something like the with character's from various RPG Maker games? (I'm not saying make it with RPG Maker.) I'm still deciding on the engine, and I'm thinking about actually using Unity. I have experience with it, but I just have issues with downloading it (Takes too long for me to download and it's a huge chunk of data on my laptop.) I definitely want to see this be a thing, but we're also going to need a roster, and A LOT of permissions to do this.

So there's a new RPG Maker coming soon, and I'm curious what people who use RPG Maker hope for. I'm hoping for it to have 3d capability. I think it would be cool to make 3d RPG Maker games. I love sprites and all, but a 3D RPG Maker would be phenomenal. If that would be the case, I'd put down 74.99$ for it without hesitation. What do you guys hope for the next RPG Maker?

Simply RPG Maker XP game with a fantasy genre. Moreover something likely from it. Lore: A new world with immediate human presence. The world is about 5000 years old. Human colonies started forming, "Scelta" being the first and smallest of them. The inhabitants were curious people, always inventing, seeking to make new things to aid this world. People are either born as Elves in very rare cases, "KikiMaru" born uncommonly, and plain humans regularly. This, surprisingly, had not a single effect on them. Every statistic seemed to turn similar to them. The inhabitants of this world were normally peaceful people, unless the case of monster, in which they would fight hand-in-hand. Eventually, gifts of the "Divine" as titled by the people would start appearing, and people started worshiping this unknown being. But however they didn't notice one thing as more gifts were accepted, more monsters would be attacking. Eventually the gifts started to stop appearing for awhile, and people who yearned for more, and those who had reliance on those gifts became greedy and poor, and there was an end to the unity once had. Rebels, criminals, and the such came to be, and law and enforcement was established. Innocence died, and the world, while not a warground, started to have diminishing resources. Thus a world as seen by other eyes appeared. Background: Prophet's, world saving heroes that are born when needs be, are summoned by people assumed the "Divine". As long as there are not Prophet's there is no immediate threat to the world that could cause catastrophe. At least, until another is born. The first "Prophet" to date was "Prophet Avintus Ziroto.". Usually when Prophets are born they are always born into different families. The event that resulted in the present "Prophets": Dusty Ziroto, a peace loving 8 year old boy, enrolled in the Fledgling Academy. Dusty chose to enroll in the program due to his desire to want to share peace he has. He ends up sleeping in class and get's in a fight about once a day, but what keep's him in is his slightly advanced state, better ability, keener mind, and so on. His Mother apparently vanished two days after giving Birth to Dusty, leaving his father, Scabbard Ziroto, to raise him. Scabbard was well loved for his extreme kindness and care for Dusty. He was an inspiration to other parents, and was famous in some towns in the "Scelta" region. However, whenever Dusty inquires about his Mother, Scabbard goes silent. Dusty had a dream while sleeping by his "soon-to-be" house, in a "soon-to-be" village. The Divine spoke to him, explaining what will happen in the future. Dusty would tell the people at the academy about his dream until he was told enough times that it wasn't real. When Dusty came home, his father was gone, and left nothing but a trail of blood. Dusty followed the trail not knowing it was blood. The trail led to a blonde man with bright yellow eyes, something not of the peoples genes. The figure called himself the "Divine", The Divine told him that he had apart of Avintus' soul inside him. Avintus was a self titled God-Slayer, which resulting in his death by religious enthusiasts. The "Divine" proceeded to strike down the younger Dusty, and leave him for dead. The dream came to him again, revealing more then one Divine. "A dragon with evil intent on erasing this world to make only him and a world of monsters." "A soldier of light with intent on protecting this world." And in 8 years, the journey began. Am I doing this right? Yeah... I think I'm doing it right. Don't mess this up... Well I just got here. Got recommended this site quite a few times. But I honestly didn't know what I could bring aside from some very little reputation, RPG Maker XP, my game(s), and above average eventing knowledge. So I finally decided to man up, and sign up. And all I have to say is that this website looks like the big city. But in all honesty, this looks like a nice community so far, so anyway, here's a bit about my origins on how i started RPG Maker XP Started with RPG Maker XP in 2011, made a terrible game called "Dusty X" that THANKFULLY never surfaced to the eyes of others. Continued up until early 2012 when my drive was dominated by Malware, Viruses, Worms, etc. 2013 I returned to work on my game. At this time, I had much more in depth understanding of things. Retrieving it from that hellspawn of a hard drive that ended up somewhere in a dump, I opened it up and... "Oh... This is actually really bad." Turned off the computer and called it a night. 2014: Starting from scratch with an unknown desire to make this game, "Dusty X" was renamed "Prophet Sword". Giving it a actual lore and storyline, and a few reworks, "Prophet Sword" is sailing smoothly so far to a the eyes of a few close friends, and my eyes at the least. 2015, started a youtube channel, made a fairly known series called Bad RPG Maker games, and now here I am. My only motives now are not to mess up my reputation. Hi.
