In case you didn't understand Leon for some reason, it affects the skill so that the skill doesn't always to 300 damage every time. Maybe your skill does 305 damage sometimes, and other times it does 298 damage.

There are a lot of good sprites on the internet (Our own gallery has quite a few). This includes tilesets, sprite-sets, backgrounds, and all that other good stuff. We also have a large selection of scripts, and so does the rest of the WWW, so you may want to look around. What exactly are you looking for? If this is your first project, then postpone it. Your first project should be a small game used to test your RMXP skill on. If you need RMXP eventing and mapping help, there are some tutorials for those as well. (I'm working on a huge RMXP tutorial, but it won't be finished for a while). I suggest that you start making a small practice game, and whenever you need help with it, just post. You don't need to use custom graphics in a practice game. ;) If this is not your first project, then you should post more details and this should be in the RMXP WIPs section. I hope this helps! Load? I've never had any problems with RMXP's loading times. Everything loads in an instant for me, and my computer isn't that great.

Some people may not know that you are talking about RMVXP, so you may want to edit your post. Anyways, I think that it should be customizable. ;) That's just my two cents.

I'm not understanding these rules about the tileset. You said that we can make a 100 tilesets if we wanted to, be we have to use "only the tiles from 004". What's the point of making tilesets you can't use? Furthermore, can I add anything to the tileset? Like a few more flowers? *has gotten a good start on his map* TO EVERYONE IN THIS CONTEST: It doesn't matter what the quality of your map is, post it! We can't have this contest dry out just because some people didn't think their maps were good enough. It's a contest for crying out loud. :lol: If you are really busy, then give it you best half hour and then just work on it from there as much as you can. You have until the 19th to post your maps!

Well not so much a younger audience as a non-hardcore audience. I would personally enjoy creating a game while on the road; it could be entertaining. Sure, RMXP and RMVX are better, but RMDS is a different kind of thing. @Midnight Assassin: Please refrain from using harsh language.

Actually Mark didn't (assuming he did not edit the post). Even if he did, everyone should know that you have to give credits, so it's not like he forgot. Marked, I think that screen shots should be entirely necessary. In my opinion it would make all the topics look much better.
