  1. I've added more features to the program, and partial error checking. Hope you like version 0.5, which has an easter egg somewhere inside it :D TrigProgram.zip Its bigger cause I added an image. The next version will most likely be hosted on an external host.
  2. yes, please do..just released 4.5 beta 1...would like some feedback/bug reports!
  3. Cloning something is moral values. I am game for it, and here's why: 1. If you clone a cow that was large, healthy and gave lots of meat, that cloned cow would produce the exact same quantity of meat and health, because it is an exact replica of the cow. Cloning other things like plants and endangered animals would save them, and increase food production for us, and if we clone the best kind of each plant species, we'd never have to worry about getting sick plants, (AKA we clone a plant with natural resistance to disease). In the long run, we'd practically eliminate natural selection, and that could have some interesting side effects, but it could be perfect in ending world hunger, food shortages, illnesses caused by bad food sources, etc.
  4. My View: The Bible clearly states that marriage is between a man and a woman. Now, from my Christian PoV, they'll burn in hell, and I should despise them, and try to convert them back to the appropriate side. Morally however, if they are happy with each other, and wish to live together, forever, doing public displays of affection towards each other (be it man or women couples, and when i mean PDA's, I mean like kissing, hugging or holding hands), then let them be happy. The Government has no grounds to prevent this from happening, because its an emotional thing, based on Morals. People can't control your morals. There's my discussion (notice how fast I dashed away from the whole Christian PoV? I'm not really a hardcore Christian.)
  5. I have news! Just released is Scrive 4.5 Beta 1! Running on the newly recoded 4.5 engine, this scrive is hopefully faster and more stable. We've removed the default titlebar, and coded our own in (Courtesy of RMXPirate). The offline version is being overhauled, so the current one may or may not be working correctly. I kind of slapped it back together to release beta 1. Planned features for next version: * A button that will add the selected script from the online database into the offline database. >> To do this, I need to change our database type from SDF (Sql Default), to Access (.mdb) format. This is because Access has the ability to store a query that is 63,999 characters. Some of our scripts in the collection top at 23000, and our current offline format only holds up to 8000 characters. This new offline system will be released and updated across beta 2 and beta 3. By 4.5 final, we should have all of scrive completed. * Improved bug reporting system. * Any other bug fixes that are needed. Links: http://myscrive.net/files/Scrive_4.5b1.zip You can also run your 4.0 version and update that way. Some future news for Scrive: After we release 4.5 Final, I will most likely discontinue support for versions below 4.5. This means the 4.x versions and the 3.x.x versions. If you have any issues with those versions, please talk to RMXPirate about it. This is because these versions of Scrive have an engine backend that is too old. 4.5's engine has newer code lines and is readable while 4.0's isn't, and the 3.x.x engine is totally different, and not even my own code, it's pirates'.
  6. Hey there, I'm formlesstree4. I guess the only thing I'm useful for is that I develop scrive...you can visit the topic by following the link in my signature (If you can find it 0_o)
  7. Not really a windows fail but a BIOS fail. Error message: Error! Keyboard not found! Press F1 to continue. WTF! >.< Plus, there was a vista error that said 'This operation has completed successfully.' Both legitimate errors.
  8. Well, I've been doing lots of experimentation in Visual Basic.net, and found out...it can handle math equations better than a Ti-84 can, in most cases. It has drawbacks (like no Math.ArcSin :(), which made this program extremely difficult to create. The program does three things: 1. Uses the Quadratic Equation to tell you both Roots (or one in some cases) 2. Has the knowledge to use the Law of Sines to solve triangles (Screenshot of this layout) 3. Can Convert Radians (like pi/2) to Degrees (90) and back to Radians. Don't know if I can post this here, but I think it can help out precalc/algebra students. Source is available on request so you can compile it yourself in vb.net 2k8, if you don't trust the attached zip. TrigProgram.zip
  9. Remixed A 2nd song http://www.mediafire.com/?xzhmogtum1j
  10. It's been a while, but I have redone song 1 and it has some effects: http://www.mediafire.com/?z1mynim12iy
  11. Scrive 4.5 Updates: Program has been Crossthreadded*. Has a progressbar for when it downloads information. stability support. More later, when I can type freely...kinda doing a late update here.
  12. Not much Ark, and yeah I know it's late Polraudio xD As for you Kiriashi, http://fanfiction.net/~formlesstree4 :)
  13. I realized, i never introduced myself! :o, shame on me. Anyway, I'm formlesstree4. Some info: I write Fanfictions. I do crappy face drawings. I have fun in Photoshop. I'm a l33t programmer (j/k...i'm decent) And...I like the color blue. So yeah, hi and stuff.
  14. This is an urgent request: We need a database hoster. Our current one is a little to unreliable for the program. If anyone would be kind enough to allow us one MySQL database with up to 4 tables, that would be great. Please note that the table must be accessible to all outside contacts with the right password, else Scrive won't work.
  15. Check the patch notes in Scrive, I've added a list of 4.5 information! :D
  16. *pulls out chainsaw, wearing a hockey mask and hook* did i miss something? Anyway, peace Marked...study hard!
  17. This is a new one: A video preview! Yes that's right, for a (un)limited time you can see the 4.5 settings preview, though its not much to look at:
  18. Glad you do :D now go learn vb.net to help us out :P
  19. 4.5 is well under way, and the 4.0 engine is also refined. 4.5 uses new coding methods of mine, which means a smaller overall code base to teach to any new programmers that may join (which I will need some to join us). What's to come in 4.0: Settings Menu. Patching any holes/bugs up. What's to come in 4.5 Beta 1: Redefined Code Base. New Bug Reporting system. New Update Code/System. (More for Admins like me): Changed the layout of the Bug Report files and Script Submission Files to be more user friendly for us admins. Images and text load (almost) at the same time. Program waits for images to download first, and then displays it all at once. Options menu will disable images. (Possibility): A very, VERY unstable offline database code laid out. This may wait until 4.5 Beta 2, but it is a possibility.
  20. Like..? I know about options...but that's all I know of atm.
  21. haha, I had my own yahoo messenger account...just added you :)
  22. Whoops, i'm so sorry I misread that. For what will be in future releases at the moment will be just bug fixes, no new planned features. Version 4.5 features were on the previous page, but that's it for now. By the way, what's your MSN? I can't seem to add you via your shortcut there...MSNM decided to hate me and simply restart >.>
  23. When I get 4.0 done, which means fixing any loose ends in the code that isn't fixed already, or will be fixed in 4.5
  24. Glad you enjoyed the joke :P I'm back from being out of town, and will continue work on Scrive :D
