The movie takes place in another Universe and thus has a separate history from that of the series. Most fans are not aware of this and those who are don't like it. Some also don't like the fact that they recycled animation from the original series and used it in the movie as well. Many fans wished they would have just continued the series, but during their decision making they went with a movie instead of a new series. (My source for this comes from an Interview with the writer/director I read online). @Mr.Fiasco--- It's been years since I seen the ending, but I am re-watching it and have like 7 episodes left. When I finish it I'll add my option/thought. @Joey--- Also well reading one of your status updates I think most people are not aware of this, but Eureka is 15-16 years old. Holland and Talho are discussing this in one episode and Holland says that she is 1 or 2 years older then Renton (who is 14 years old). I don't remember the Episode, but it is somewhere between episodes 1-16 (or Complete Collection Volume 1 if you own the DVD collection).

I use Facebook (check it twice a week and on it no more than 2-5 min each time) and Twitter (Business and Web Site Advertising; so I have like 3-5 of these). I have a MySpace, but it is used to just check up on friends that I no longer live near and don't have Facebook.

[SOLVED] [XP] Anyone knows how to import video file?
Noob Saibot replied to kenth21v's question in Support
So...I just didn't click the link or finish reading the topic. It happens; no need to point it out though. -
Yes replaced with a reality TV show called "Sing Off" or something close to that. Reality TV is retarded; because I don't care about heavy set people who can't lose weight on their own, I don't care about a washed up Kiss member and what he's doing now, I don't care about people who want to get into business with out learning on their own and need advice from some old guy, I don't care about people who need to be discovered on TV shows like American Idle, I don't care about some nerd who wants to make his dreamed up Super Hero a real comic book hero...need I go on? Yes they have a habit of canceling shows with out giving them a proper ending.

Reader, Alright so I picked up the TV series 'The Event' and watched season 1. However after watching it I found out NBC canceled the TV show and left it open with no ending. I hate it when TV networks don't at least finish the show before canceling it. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot/Kage Kazumi

[SOLVED] [XP] Anyone knows how to import video file?

There is a script that can call a flash video (some where on the net). Of course you would have to convert the file into a flash file. -
Actually most FF games are distinct from one another in many ways: from story, characters, game play (the more modern ones PSX-PS3/360/NDS), mini games, side quests, etc. The only difference between newer 1st person shooters in a series is: story (though well war can be said as using the same story), maybe some weapons, map layouts, but for the most part nothing new or innovative has been added. I mean I think I will take the word of die hard Call of Duty and Modern War Fare fans who have been quoted saying why they won't bother buying a newer version of the game; it's simply isn't new. However in truth every game is cliched in some way.

RMXPU Community, Alright so I am working on a game series and have created the logos for the main title, sub-title, and planet (edit of a Earth moon icon that I changed color and added a ring) icon/image. Planet: Roadal Main Title (this one is meant to sit on a black background) Sub-Title (of game 1) v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot/Kage Kazumi

Reader, Alright this game is met with different opinions. I personally liked and enjoy the game as well as the DLC that came out, Undead Nightmare. I thought it was nice to see a western version of GTA and quite enjoyed it. I hope they do a sequel for this game as it has been added to my list of games I won't be reselling for any reason. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot

Minor Update, Alright almost got the story/plot done. Should see a project topic soon. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot

RMXPU Community, Vote well you can because from now on if Community Project topics are ignored they will be considered as voting completed. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot/Kage Kazumi (P12 Leader)

RMXPU Scripters, This is a CBS (an alteration of the default version), however due to it using SP system (Skill Points) and a Formation System a separate Script will also be needed that functions with/along side the battle script. Meaning 3 scripts in total So I wanted to create a old school like game that used a battle system like that found in early Dragon Warrior games (basically the RMXP default). However I would like to modify the default battle system a little so it doesn't seem to lazy on my part for at least not coming up with something slightly different. This is how I came up with the Group Defense System. Group Defense Battle System 1) This basically is the total DEF of all characters in the FRONT ROW. As the characters HP is depleted the 'group defense' will start to lower until it is just using the back row characters normal DEF. This means when full if the AI attacks people in the back row the damage dealt to the HP is far lower. 2) Using a HP potion will not increase the GD Gauge (seen below in Mock Up screen shot). The only way the GD (Group Defense) Gauge will increase is by a specific skill or item (skill will consume MP, but not the ITEM). 3) The FORMATION selection seen in the Mock Up will allow you to change the current formation (change people from back and front row during battle). This is also a selection in the normal Default Menu of the game. 4) The TRANSFORM selection is a battle use only selection. It allows the character/Party member in Slot 1 the ability to Transform into something/someone else (by default the person in Slot 2). However, so I don't confuse any one please see this screen shot; here, to see what I mean when I say Slot 1 and 2. Now if the player chooses to transform when the battle is done his Transformed version will receive 100% of the EXP and SP (skill points) earned well the normal character will only earn 50%. 5) This battle system will use a total of 5 party members for a combined MAX of: 3 in Front Row and 2 in Back Row OR 2 in Front Row and 3 in Back Row. 6) The location of the Battle Menu has changed (see Mock Up below). 7) This uses Face images that appear on the left 128x128. The right side will contain information regarding that character (HP, MP, Name, ATK, DEF, Agility, etc; HP/MP are represented by BARS like in most common RPGs). If more then one party member is in the party a Cursor (small arrow) will appear on the right side of the box. Hitting the right ARROW will then move to the next party member (hitting enter will select that member bringing up the Battle Menu. 8) You can see in the Mock Up above the Face Image it displays what Row that character is currently in. 9) The Character in slot 1 (see here by what I mean by slot 1) is the only characters that can after 2 turns come back to life with 25% of it's health (HP). If his Transformed version dies during battle he will return to his normal form, but the EXP and SP are now flipped (i.e. the character will earn 100% well the Transform version will only earn 50%). 10) You will see a Battle Menu selection for Magic. I will need a way for RMXP to know that the Skill is actually a Magic Skill and should appear under that menu section and not the Skill section. My Mock Up! GD Skill Point System During battle you can earn SP (Skill Points). These are used for Accessories that are attached to the character/player. Accessories will have a skill or ability associated with them (example: Accessory +2---when learned will added 1 extra slot to the Accessory allow the party member to attache another): from skills, magic, to HP increases, ATK increases, etc). I'm not sure the best way to do this so if you need a better explanation or idea to go off just ask me. GD Formation System The formation system is like that during battle, but instead is out side of battle. v/Respectfully, Kage Kazumi

Issue #: 1 Released: 1 SEP 2011 Written By: Noob Saibot/Kage Kazumi RMXPU Community, Well, Project 2012’s revival from the dead is going quite nicely except for some minor lack of the word “community” participation. However, for the most part, voting in the P12 topics has been going rather okay despite the lack of participation. I thought it would be nice to create a ghetto newsletter to explain to those, what is currently happening with Project 2012 (P12 for short) and at what stage we are at. I or Enigma may release a Newsletter at least once every month starting at 1st of every month (so expect to see the next one on 1 OCT 2011). Battle of the Engines RPG Maker XP and VX went head-to-head to see which engine the community would choose as the foundation of the community project. This voting was the most participated in topic for the community project than any other currently created to date (before 1 SEP 2011, 2:00pm). Members came and explained why they wanted RMXP or RMVX to be used and despite the different reasons most of them were for valid reasons. In all it the community seven days to decide the fate of the community project and in the end, RPG Maker XP won with seven votes well RPG Maker VX came in with five votes total. I would not call it the battle of the ages, but for some time the two were tied, 3-3 with no signs of breaking, but then Enigma came along and despite his wanting to, he choose to break the tie which led to a couple more people voting as well. Now some members even started to show signs of disappointment if RPG Maker VX was not the winner, but like it always is in life we do not get what we always want. I can’t say that the ‘disappointing blow came as a shock,’ because I don’t think members were too surprised to see RPG Maker XP win. In closing all I can say is remember this, “Even if you don’t own RPG Maker XP doesn’t mean you can’t participate as there are plenty of jobs/tasks to do without the software.” Plot Me This - Plot Me That What will our hero be? Will he stand tall and true like so many heroes before him or will he have his own unknown purpose? This of course was a question we asked the community and for sometime it seemed active enough, but like all good things that must come to an end, activity in the community project topics became dim at best. This might surprise a few people seeing as how a topic was made asking about this project, and if it was still being pursued. However, despite the interest people showed in the previous topic (XP vs VX) and those who replied in the topic in regard to the project this topic was not treated as fairly as ones before it. Members were given a choice of a selected plot lines with the choice to create their own and the topic seemed active enough, but when it came time to actually get to the voting, the community disappeared. This forced the Leaders in a tough spot because they could let the topic run the time frame it was given or cut it short due to a lack of community participation. Sadly, in the end the topic was cut short with item #3 being the winner; hero is unknowingly the bad guy. Despite the lack of interest in the topic at least we had some votes to go on, but three votes are hardly enough to call it a community decision right? Wrong, the community chose it regardless of the vote count because they chose not to vote or read the topic itself. I just hope in the future we will see more activity in the community project from the community, especially when members were asking what was going on with this project before I became a leader. War and Battle The latest topic involving the community project is the “[P12] Battle System” topic created today. Most people may not think twice about the battle system, but it is a key factor in any RPG game. In fact, RPG’s usually have three types to choose from: menu based (classic RPGs), action, and tactical as well. Each system offers its own unique points to the game, but when it comes to such systems, it all comes down to the player and what they like to play. I like the old school menu based battle systems, but I also enjoy the action and tactical systems as well. Plot Themes The next step in the plot/story decision is a Plot Theme. We have already established a basis for the plot itself, but now need to add to it. Enigma and I will be creating six plot themes based off the Plot Line selected by members to create a Plot Theme. These themes will be ranging in many different approaches to how to take the plot and where to take it. So this is currently where the plot of the community project stands story wise. Until it is complete voting will be paused, and we will move on to other voting aspects of the community project. Community Participation The point of a community project is for the community to participate in the project by any means they can: 1) Voting on topics/subjects relating to the project. 2) Suggesting ideas, pointing out issues, etc. 3) Creating Scripts or suggesting scripts to be used. 4) Creating Event Systems of suggesting event systems to be used. 5) Help with the story/plot (voting, writing, suggesting ideas and pointing out issues) 6) Mapping The bottom line is you do not need the software to do most of what is listed above (5 of the items do not require you to own the software well only 3 do). Now I know people have lives to live and other interests may appear, but simply reading a topic and voting is not going to take up that much of your time and is VERY MUCH appreciated. Even if all you do to participate is voting on items then you are contributing to the community project as a community member; please remember this. Hell, even if you don’t use RMXP or RMVX, I am sure you probably play video games, and your opinion is more than welcome. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot/Kage Kazumi (P12 Leader)

RMXPU Community, Well we wait for the Plot Themes to be created I decided to tan-gin away from the story/plot and start voting on another subject of the community project. The battle system is one of the important pieces in an RPG game as some provide a little interaction well others are of a more classic RPG style (menu based action). So we need to decided a battle system (RPG Maker XP) to use. Feel free to suggest a Battle System Script or agree to one someone has already suggested. Please provide a link to the script and demo as well (in case people wish to try them before they suggest/vote). Now I am aware that in the old topics a battle system was already agreed upon, but this being a re-make of Project 2012 it deserves a new vote as well so please no complaining. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot/Kage Kazumi (P12 Leader)
-
RMXPU Community, Due to the lack of community participation this voting is now considered closed with the Plot Line #3 the winner. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot (P12 Leader)

Since a few people asked, replied...and... http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/topic/7131-question-regarding-the-forum-project/page__view__findpost__p__64034 No one says you have to join to contribute a vote because that is contributing in itself. I do what I can with what little I know; yes I got that from a movie just don't remember which one. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot/Kage Kazumi (P12 Leader)

I don't know for other countries, but in the US paper money or coin money is suppose to represent how much gold you have the right to claim. It is said that if a person wanted to they could go to a bank a withdrawal their share of gold they have the right to claim. I have never tested this, but this is the purpose of paper money to represent how much gold a person or persons have the right to claim. A form of currency was created that way people did not have to carry gold or silver coins. A little history: http://www.ronscurrency.com/rhist.htm It's called research, any gamer knows this. Watch trailers, read previews, rent the game (yes this can be done even for new releases), etc. If you do what you say it is your own fault for not using all means to see if you would like the game!! Actually the opinion of MANY is better then just ONE or TWO. Any gamer could tell you this, but at the same time renting games is an option.
