Testing Joomla & vBulletin Intagration
Noob Saibot commented on Noob Saibot's blog entry in Zanime Dev Blog
http://www.jfusion.org/ It is also suppose to work with IBP and a few others as well. There latest version is in beta (for Joomla 1.6). -
Reader, It's a slow process; which makes sense as Anime is a lot of content in itself, but I should have a preview image for the home site (with ready content) in a few weeks v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot

Warriors: A Kingdom Divided Beta Testers Needed
Noob Saibot replied to Dragon324's topic in Project Recruitment
I can do this for you. I have software that far surpasses any word processor; not to mention my own skills and collection of Grammar books. -
Pizza Hut Hates Drag Queens

Pizza Hut is a franchise (any one of us could open one up if we had the money). Its all on what the Big Corporates think about how the manager runs their business. -
Project GDU - What do you want in profiles?
Noob Saibot commented on Marked's blog entry in RMU Development Blog
I would say change is good. The more you customize the more you separate yourself from other game making communities. I say the basic information found in a IPB profile, but also have it so it has like a Project tab which will display the latest project, canceled projects, etc from that member. I also like th 'My Abilities' idea as well. -
Reader, I am working on Zanime on my server side (my computer) and will upload to site/database when it is done. v/Respectfully Noob Saibot

Reader, So I have decided to brush off the old Dreamweaver and start making web templates again (common HTML/CSS based) and put them up for sale on a site/community I know. The first one I am working on I am calling, "Slider Inc." It is going to use a variety of jQuery sliders (from menus to content sliders) and thus its name 'Slider Inc.' I started this morning and have been working on it all day and was almost done with the index page when something went wrong and I had to start over. So I only have like 75% of the HEADER part done. As you can see the menu uses jQuery. What I have left for the HEADER is the second menu (which will appear in the black/grayish box) and icons for the slider top menu). I will keep you up to date on it here. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot

Every movie has a defining meaning behind it, most people never see it because they see only a movie. Plus most of their movies are geared toward following your dreams (like 90% of the meaning behind their movies) and it is not a fictional one as it is souly up to you.

Reader's, You will note that the site/urls lead to a simple host page. This is due to attempting to get a Joomla template I paid for over two years ago. They will be working when I have the template and upload. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot (Gaara, Zanime Network)

I like Maple Story (but they have not updated it to work for Windows 7 64bit. Also this may help: MMOGames.com

Reader's, I know I said I did not want to try and find a integration, but as far as I am concerned the only integration I am looking for is log in and keeping members logged in if they go from the site to the forum. I was told of a nice thing that will do this. So We are currently testing it and it it works we will be using Joomla and vBulletin. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot

So I saw this on the Playstation Network and bought it cause I liked the movies. I will say it is not a game for the faint of heart as it plays more like a adventure story game then a adventure, rpg, etc. You can view IGN review: http://www.youtube.com/embed/LIBXNBAu2yw

I will admit I like animation over CGI movies.

Reader's, Zanime has been deciding on what we will offer to our viewers and members and although watching Anime is a big hit online, it is also illegal if you do not have permission. Now we could by pass this by hosting the videos on such places like MegaVideo, but then we have to keep up with the links and make sure they exists; far to much time and effort. So we decided to offer Window 7 (will be available upon launch) and Mac (in development) Themes. It is not much, but every site needs a goal and ares is to have the most Themes and Wallpaper available (legally). We are working on 3 Windows 7 themes for the site launch: Anime Theme, Naruto, and Bleach. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot (Gaara, Zanime Forums)

So I got it to 3.6 sec load time. Your site (main) loads in o sec according to the test, but your forum is at a huge 16 sec.
-
Well yes it was designed for a Resolution greater than 1000 wide. And I am only 1 sec above the minimum 4 sec to load.
-
I will I have been testing different file formats and .gif seems to be the smallest and with some tweaking it doesn't lose it's sharpness. I will need optimization as I have a auto logo/banner changer (though it should not effect it as it is set to change upon refresh or new page. PS Though I think it's your connection as it load quite fast for me. I'll test it and see. EDIT Doing a test it took 5sec to load: http://tools.pingdom.com

Reader, Well Wordpress seems to not be functioning as it should (or more like how I want it). So I will be using Joomla instead; which is fine because Zanime.net and Zanime.org are not intergrated. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot (Gaara, Zanime Forums)

Reader, Well Zanime's custom skin, created by VB Style is done and uploaded and active for viewing. You can view it live at http://www.zanime.net.forum.php or see the image below. The site and forum are still under development content wise so I suggest waiting on signing up. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot (Gaara, Zanime Forums)

Do push up bras take things too far?
Noob Saibot replied to FranklinX's topic in Debate and Mature Discussion
So why do women wear a bra? "Because breasts need to be supported." This is largely a myth: "...wearing a bra... has no medical necessity whatsoever", says Susan M. Love, M.D in her "Dr. Susan Love's Breast Book". This is similar to the myth that women supposedly need corsets to support their stomach muscles. Now, large-breasted women may need the support from bras. Jogging and other active sports may be painful even for medium-breasted ladies. This is, however, an individual thing, so do what is comfortable for you. In one study, large-breasted women removed the weight of breasts from their shoulders for two weeks, either by going braless or by wearing a strapless bra. Only one woman chose a strapless bra and all the others went braless. The researchers monitored the women for muscle pain and tenderness. Seventy-nine percent of patients decided to remove breast weight from the shoulder permanently because it rendered them symptom free! (Ryan, EL, Pectoral girdle myalgia in women: a 5-year study in a clinical setting. Clin J Pain. 2000 Dec;16(4):298-303. Also, while bras do give breasts support, they do not ultimately prevent your breasts from sagging. Gravity will eventually take its effect. There is actually some evidence that bras can even increase sagging. One possible reason for that is that the breast has ligaments, and since other bodily ligaments can atrophy when not in use, the same might happen to the breast ligaments under the constant artificial support from the bra, resulting in increased sagginess. Another possible reason for bra-wearing increasing sagginess is IF a woman wears an ill-fitting bra, which may force some of the breast tissue to "migrate", resulting in differently shaped breasts than otherwise. What causes sagging of breasts? Sagging or drooping of breasts is a natural, inevitable process that happens to all women at some point - except those with fairly small breasts. The most notable sagging happens with the process called breast involution, but breasts can start drooping a little at any age, because they do NOT have muscles in them. They have ligaments and connective tissue. When the gravity pulls the breasts down, those ligaments and the skin can stretch, and so the breast then droops. This depends on the elasticity of your skin and of your ligaments, as determined by your genes and diet, and also on normal aging processes. Obviously large breasts will sag easier since the gravity is pulling them down more. Breast involution is a process where the milk-making system inside the breast shrinks because it's not needed anymore. This happens either after weaning, or right after pregnancy if you don't breastfeed at all, or during menopause. When the tissues inside breast shrink, and the skin surrounding it doesn't, the breast can look 'empty' and saggy. Over time, some fat gets deposited back to the breast so it will look somewhat fuller but sagging usually remains. Will bras keep the breasts from sagging? Bras will keep your breasts from sagging while you're wearing them - but not for the remainder of time. There is no published medical literature showing that bras prevent sagging. Even the bra industry seems to know this, as the following quote illustrates: "We have no evidence that wearing a bra could prevent sagging, because the breast itself is not muscle, so keeping it toned up is an impossibility. What it can do, particularly for larger-breasted women, is obviously to provide the comfort and the support. So, if a woman wants a particular breast profile, she will buy a particular brand, and that is what they're designed for. There's no permanent effect on the breast from wearing a particular bra. The bra will give you the shape the bra's been designed to give while you're wearing it. Of course, when you take it off, you go 'au natural.' " executive John Dixey at Bras, Bare Facts documentary However, there is some support for the idea that breasts in bras actually sag more (when bra is taken off). How could that be since the main idea of bras is to lift the breasts upward? The main idea is that the ligaments which support breasts in normal circumstances, would atrophy (get thinner and weaker) when breasts are immobilized within bras and don't have to bear their own weight. There are lots of studies showing that ligaments and tendons in limbs do atrophy when the limb is immobilized. Bras obviously prevent the the natural slight up-down movement of breasts when we walk, and let shoulders bear the weight of breasts. If breast ligaments behave like limb ligaments, it may be a matter of "use it or lose it". One study published on the subject of bras and sagging was done in 1991, in Japan. The study suggests that a bra can actually increase breast sagging rather than the opposite. The abstract says (emphasis mine): "Eleven adult female subjects aged 22-39 years wore a certain brassiere for 3 months while anthropometry and moire fringe photographs on the anterior trunk were taken regularly once a week. After the 3 months, the brassiere was not worn for another 3 months. Then the measurements and photogrammetry were repeated for comparison using superimposed moire configurations. The results are summarized as follows. Regardless of slim or obese trunk, subjects with pendent breasts showed the highest degree of breast form "correction" from wearing the brassiere. In all subjects, after 3 months of brassiere constraint, the underbust circumference was smaller but the chest circumference became enlarged, the distance between the right and left nipples became wider, and the breasts tended to hang down. This change was more marked in obese subjects with pendent breasts. And when this type of subject wore a "well-fitted" brassiere for a long time, her breast form became developed, that is, her breasts hung down more." Ashizawa K, Sugane A, Gunji T Institute of Human Living Sciences, Otsuma Women's University, Tokyo, Japan: Breast Form Changes Resulting From A Certain Bras The French study the sagging and bra wearing even further Another study with similar results was conducted in 2003 by Laetitia Pierrot and Jean-Denis Rouillon. In it, 250 women who practiced sports stopped wearing a bra for one year. They were followed regularly with questionnaires and biometric measurements. At the 6-week checkup, the ladies experienced some discomfort from abandoning the bra, but this disappeared later, and by the end of the year 88% of the women reported improved comfort compared to before the study. The measurements showed firmer, more elevated and perkier breasts. For example, the distance from the nipple to the shoulder bone was reduced, which means the breasts sagged less. They noted a better muscular development in the rotator muscles of the shoulders and the pectoralis major. Also, stretch marks on breasts became less visible. Sports bras and jogging There is one more notable study concerning sagging and bra wearing, which found that jogging caused breasts to bounce enough to sretch the Cooper's ligaments inside the breast. Naturally, stretched ligaments would cause the breast to sag more. The lesson to take home from this study is that if you engage in jogging or some other type of very active sport, sports bras are recommendable. Conclusion To prevent or lessen the eventual sagging that will come with age, let breasts be free of bras when you can so that the ligaments inside them can be "in use"; however protect the breasts from bouncing too much doing sports by using proper sports bras. Proper nutrition will probably also be helpful to maintain elasticity of those ligaments and of the skin. -
Reader, Zanime.org is our planned to be information site. It will have the basic information such as about us as well as the latest news regarding Zanime (well Zanime.net will tell the latest news about Anime itself). Unlike Zanime.net it is not linked to our main site thus separate registration will be required, but this should not be an issue as we will make discussion topics on our forums any way. However this site may take a little longer to set up and is sitting there with place holder content and ads. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot

Readers, Well I decided to finally start a community of my own. However it won't be the run of your mill game making community. I have simply lost interest in starting my own game making community and decided that I would do a Anime one instead. Why? I like Anime is the simple answer and probably the only answer I can give. I watch it a lot; at least four times a week (online or, DVD, or TV). Of course this is something I have been planning for 3 months by registering two domain names and paying for them in advanced up to five years. The hosting was also paid in advanced up to 3 years. I started it using IPB and IP Content, but in the end and after wasting month-in-a-half trying to get it to work as I wanted it I became fed up and decided to try vBulletin. After just 30 min. I was able to do a lot more then I could with IP Content. Now I am one step closer with the launch of of Zanime and here is a sneak peek at the forum: More to come as needed. v/Respectfully, Noob Saibot
