Yes got the two mixed up; I was talking about Windows XP Mod which lets you run older Windows XP business software right on your Windows 7 desktop. My bad...
-
This depends on what Windows 7 version you have (Home, Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate). The Windows XP mod can only be found in Professional and Ultimate; according to the packaging when you compare the versions.

Have you tried doing a Rebuild to see if that would fix it?

Glad to be back and see the site has come along ways. I read the topic about Markeds absent. I bet he is still checking up on the place. In any case today was a great day as I bought: Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Soundbooth, Flash Professional CS4, and Acrobat 9 Professional. That put a whole in my wallet.

Character Transformation Tutorial
Noob Saibot replied to Noob Saibot's topic in Archived RPG Maker XP Tutorials
They can be found on the forum, but most are out dated or links in active (as is the case with my video Tutorials). But all of them will be getting an update and put in PDF format and download-able with an actual demo of what the tutorials speak of. Well I have been away for some time so it makes sense to reply to peoples post regardless how old they are. -
Naming Characters One of the hardest parts of creating a game besides the story is naming your characters. After all a heroine named Bertha doesn’t invoke the same response as Julliet or a Regina. A memorable name will define your character and shape your story and it should invoke an instant image in your players mind. NAMING GUIDELINES 1) Capture the persona of your character by trying to choose a name that captures the character’s personality. For example the name Kevin means gentle and handsome as Makalani means poor. 2) Chose a name in keeping with your character’s heritage and personality and/or trade. Example is Kevyn which is a Celtic, Gaelic, and Welsh name or Jessica which is a Hebrew name. It may not seem important, but doing such a thing can add culture to your characters if a whole race use names from the same country/region. 3) Make the name harmonious varying the syllables between first and last names. John Wright is dull, but Jonathan Wright has a more ring to it. Nonvaried names can work also like take Ian Fleming’s James Bond character. It worked because James Bond always introduced himself as ‘Bond, James Bond.’ 4) Keep the characters name consistent with his or her time period. Sherri and Brandy will not work well in your tenth-century Viking game set in Scandinavia.

Trudora Legends Trudora Legends is a planned series of games each with a separate main character, story, plot, and it all leads to the main story of Trudora Legends. Instead of telling the usual RPG story by introducing you to our hero and than having that hero meet up with other heroes who will help him take down the main bad guy. I decided to tell the story of major characters and by doing this you are allowed to see an in-depth story of the characters before they even meet the main hero or bad guy. The overall story or game that all sub games will lead up to is "Trudora: Genesis (TG)." In TG you will be introduced to our main hero who will meet other people and help him attempt to defeat the main bad guy. But before we can do this you will be playing what we are calling Sub-Games and these sub-games are character based stories leading up to the main story TG. But Trudora Legends (TL) is not limited to just games it will also consist of short films. See explanation below. Trudora Legends: The rise of General Kahl In this game you play as ???? (Name to be decided) who later becomes known as General Kahl. ???? has a small issue with who he is and is in constant arguments with himself about his life and choices he makes and has already made. In the end ???? turns to the dark side and thus his rain of evil begin and we learn how and why ???? decided to choose the path of evil. Trudora Legends: The Fall of Rose The Fall of Rose will be released after or with The Rise of General Kahl and is a short film (I am hoping for CGI and made using blender). Rose is ???? daughter which he kills her. And though this seems like something we can stick in the game I thought it would have more of an effect if it was a short film. Plus all characters mentioned in the sub-games (or films) play a part in TG. For example just because Rose dies in this short film doesn't mean we wont see her in TG and when we do it will truly be a shocking meeting. Will Add More Info Later

Character Transformation Tutorial
Noob Saibot replied to Noob Saibot's topic in Archived RPG Maker XP Tutorials
@ KarshnerShagger Credit is not needed, but thanks anyway. @ sloth Well the intent of this tutorial was not to be complex and for the purpose I stated such a thing would not be needed. -
I bought this game like 3 days ago for my PC. I like it and I must say if I could have powers it would be the main characters in this game. But you don't fly you glide.

Alright RMXPU members it has been some months since I have been on and many, many months since I actually stayed an active member. As of now the only Game Making forums I go to (or plan on) is this and HB Games. So hello all.

That's just my Micrsoft Works set to auto correct. Are you for real? Oh shit...look Bruce Lee...he must be anime... Now your just being ignorant. Oh lord, no way you know the Japanese definition...what will I ever do? Do you even use that thing between your shoulders? ANime is a japanese cartoon I know this, I also know the Japanese definistion (key word JAPANESE). <_<

You know what is even funnier, how you say that Pokemon which originated in Japan (just as Yu-Gi-Oh did and also is anime) is not anime. You should do some research before making such a claim. Like 'Avatar the Last Air Bender' is also an anime, just because it is shown on Nickelodeon doesn’t mean it is not anime. Go to any Anime fan forum/community and you will find Pokemon as well as Avatar in their forums for discussions. Anime is an animated version of a little thing called Mange, which most anime start out as first. Also Anime is a drawing style which is why many anime is categorized as anime because of the drawing style used. Pick up a few Anime Drawing books and some will mention or talk about current anime (Pokemon, yugioh, Avatar, etc). My point is even if I create a "cartoon" show and it is drawn in the style of anime even though it is American it is still anime. There are hundreds of Anime and Mange created in America. So try a little research first.
