I do have VMware Workstation. I wonder if i can make a new windows installation and go to the site and see what happens. But i dont wana risk my physical computer getting it through the network.

I checked his computer out before and it has lots of problems. getting another Hard Drive wont work for him because he don't have a Windows XP install disk. Note: His system restore is broken also. Try it in safe mode. I say the only other option with the way things have been going is to re-install Windows XP. We need to find you a disk.

I wouldnt completely say that. I use a dell. Dell's are mainly for people that know how to be there own computer mechanic. Dells have more potential. Back on topic about the tutorial. Make a new topic to continue the discussion about brands.

Does your computer take forever to start up? Well look no further this tutorial will teach you what you need to know to stop them annoying programs from starting up. Note: Some viruses act as a startup program so its a good idea to check. Alright lets start with the most basic tutorial ever. Step 1: Press the power button to start your computer Step 2: Wait forever for your computer to startup. Step 3: Once your computer starts up open up run. You can do this by clicking start and clicking on it or by going here. Start-> All Programs-> Accessories-> Run Step 4: Type in the run box msconfig then click OK Step 5: Once you click on OK you will get a screen and click the Startup tab. 1: This shows what program is starting up once you logon to your computer 2: This shows what command is used once you logon. This usually shows the location of the .exe file. Now on to disabling useless stuff. As you can see i have lots of useless stuff that comes on when my computer is turned on. Lets see what i dont need here. I dont use stupid Microsoft Groove - Disables I hate itunes - Disables Dont use Quicktime - Disables Thats all thats on the image. I have lots more but you get the idea. Note: about 95% of the items that show on the list you don't need to have startup.
