Happy belated birthday. I've been too busy to really get online. Accumulated online time in the last 3 weeks: 2 hours 18 minutes. Think about that... it sucks.

Another note: Post the script. It has to do with the size of the picture and the fact the script incriments it by a certain % based on the size. In essence, 11 is needed for it to work properly, but to drop it to 8, you must tinker with the script's numbers.

If you are loading a save file, it won't work. You must start a new file.

The reason I prefer the traditional is yes, the storylines seem sparce, and the characters with little development to them, but you must look at it from the flip-side. They had little memory back then to store information on. (8-bit games were notoriously short, for the most part.) And they were the foundation of what we see now as an RPG. When the original idea of the 'Airship' or the elemental crystals came upon in the first Final Fantasy, it was revolutionary! Now, you use them and you are 'cliche' (By the way, if you ever want the story to Final Fantasy, read the instruction manual.) Nowadays, I see everything put into graphics and gameplay. Some have decent stories, but for the most part, don't catch the attention of the player.

I've quit caring about it. What is the point of a game nobody will play? That is like a song that nobody will hear, or a story nobody will read: pointless.

You won't get anyone looking at anything, trust me. I've busted ass for 6 months, making a project that I had 3 strangers rate on average a 9/10 in PM, (My beta-testers), but nobody will play it anyway. It's a futile effort. I see no reason to break my back for assholes who don't give a damn. People are too fuckin' wrapped up in drama. And what they don't realize is in less than a year, THE DRAMA IS GONE! THere is no reason to be 'oh no! my girlfrined left me! what WILL i do?!'. You know what you do? move on and keep breathing. Treat life like a dog does. If you can't eat it or fuck it, piss on it and walk away.

Hell, it isn't just my game I'm bitching about. Go check the project portions of all the sites. You'll see that 99% of all projects go ignored, and people give up. Then fuckin morons ask the question 'WHy are there so few completed projects?' OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES! There aren't any because people don't get the support they need for inspiration! I'm about ready to say RmXP was a waste of time.

It's bullshit, and futile. the ONLY time your game gets played is if it falls under three categories: You are on the staff or a popular, spazzy person You are so heavy into anime, you know more characters than 99% of Japan, and to top it off, draw more pictures in anime than you write sentences. You are a girl who says provocative things or has a provocative picture Other than that, it is hit and miss. Fuck them all. I'm sick of this shit. And you know what really gets to me? He has 2 options: Tell her how he feels, and tread carefully with what he says, or just stay shut the hell up and wonder what could have been. In either situation, he should respect the fact that SHE is in a relationship, and shouldn't interfere. Instead of adding a hundred scripts, hoping they work together. This would allow them to do just that. Further, to change it is just a few switches as opposed to hundreds of lines of codes.

A new demo has been released. This one is approximately an hour long, and goes around 10-15% into the game. Enjoy.

UPDATE: The new demo is nearing release. I estimate no more than 1-2 weeks longer before you see a full version of the demo. There are little tweaks that must be performed here and there, as well as testing of said tweaks. I'll be sure to let everyone know more upon release about what has been changed and so forth
