  1. Yeah, I would deliberately run away from him and leave my team there just to watch him beast on us.
  2. God Eater Burst: In a post apocalyptic modern world, vicious monsters known as Aragami have mysteriously began to exist in the world. They evolve at a alarming rate and strive only to devour everything. Most of the buildings and normal signs of life have already been eaten and the surviving humans find shelter under the protection of Fenrir, a Anti-Aragami Extermination Organization. You, are a Gods Eater, the warriors that battle the monstrous Gods. Normal weapons are no threat to Aragami due to their bodies being a colony of Oracle Cells that are controlled by a Oracle Core; the Aragami's heart. Normal weapons will not kill a Aragami as its Oracle Core will regenerate any damage. The Gods Eaters wield God Arcs, weapons that are infused with a man made Aragami that eats the Oracle Core. These God Arcs are the only way to truly defeat a Aragami, however if anyone other than the original user tries to the weapon, the weapon will consume the host. As you take on assigned jobs eliminating targeted Aragami, you'll fight against diverse opponents such as walking tanks, giant scorpion-knights(Borg Caalann) ferocious humanoid tigers(Dyaus Pita) and dragons(Hannibal). While in battle, literally devour the enemy as your God Arc transforms into a giant set of jaws to gain Aragami powers! As the first NewType Gods Eater, your God Arc has the unique ability to shift form from a Sword to a Gun to a Shield, allowing you to battle in your own unique way. Develop and customize bullets for your Gun in a extensive crafting system. If you want, say a bullet that shoots in the air and fires missiles- you can do that. I just finished a sort of Hellzone Grenade type bullet lol. Destroy specific parts of the Aragami to obtain it so you can create weapons from it. My current favorite is: Gun: Loewe Cannon Blade: Loeweburg Shield: Loeweshield I obtained these all from killing several Dyaus Pitas. You can also team up with four other players to take on the Gods, or use the computer AI allies. I found myself using: Sakuya: She's one of two Medics and unlike the other(Karen) she doesn't friendly fire and is very reliable. Soma: He's basically capable of fending off one Aragami by himself without aid, so I use him to hold off one while the rest of the team kills another. Also very strong. I think he's voiced by the guy who does Sasuke Alisa: She is the next NewType to join your branch in Fenrir(The Far East Branch aka Japan) She's special because, as a NewType, she can give you very powerful Aragami powers that others can not. That, and she's eyecandy. Kota: Honestly, I still don't know why I use him. He's not particually good or anything, however when you die(which occurs often as most attacks are insta-death if you're not blocking(except for this one really annoying attack Dyaus Pita does )) team members can revive you with half their health, however he'll use 75% which really helps. Lastly, you only have to play with someone else once and you'll have that persons ingame avatar as a npc playable on teams. I haven't actually experienced this as I'm the only person I know that plays this game... Screenshots: Hannibal: A dragon like aragami with human like physique. Very very fast and creepy, as it can be at one side of the map and reach you in like 3 seconds flat. Creates these dual fire sword things and can create large pillars of insta-death fire. Vajra: A tiger that is very agile, can do flips and attacks with electrical attacks. It has one attack called Lightning Maul that stuns you which is almost a garuteed death sentence. In the more difficult missions you have to battle four of these guys solo which was quite the hassle but very ego boosting. Bullet Crafting: Allows for very complex and powerful bullets to made. I use this one and it does quite a load of damage for its usage cost. The Walking Tank: Whose name escapes me... not as hard as they appear, fires various missles from the giant face but also weak there while attacking lol I usually take a missile to the face while blocking and then rush in with attacks...(just noticed that the person playing is using 'electric:normal' and 'blaze:normal' as bullets... not very efficient against this Aragami...
  3. I reccomend using FRAPS, and Aimersoft Video Converter(It's what I use and they're pretty good. Never had a frame rate issue, unless you're setting settings really low for some reason.) You haven't heard of Yanfly? Wow. http://yanflychannel...ress.com/rmvxa/ He/She is this person that creates these amazingly great and customizable scripts.I'm pretty sure you can, but I wouldn't worry about that too much.
  4. What recording software are you using? I can't help but notice the stuttery framerate... RELEVANT: Since you're using ACE, have you thought about using the Yanfly Ace Battle Engine? It's not sideview, but it is many times more superior than the default battlesystem.
  5. His eyes(or maybe it's just the way ace gen characters look) seem too large for his age. I would go with the first character with shades, but the face with glasses.
  6. Update: I'm changed the beginning of the game(really the whole first half I guess) to make sense with the beginning. There is now a class system taken entirely from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stone(mostly anyway) Triangular Weapon Advantages whereas Sword -> Axe -> Lance -> Sword( Still working out some things) Extended the amount of party members allowed to 5, for story purposes. As a feature of the class system, certain classes can mount horses, pegasi and wyverns. This will give them superior mobility among other effects. When I can I upload a current version of the game in its state as the demo is severely outdated. Remember, visit Fenrir Studios sometime to see more in-depth information as well as leave any comments, questions!
  7. Well, I can't get it to fully load(likely because of my horrendous internet connection) but from what I saw some of the colors for text is a bit hard to read with the background being black. Also, what Kirhi said is pretty accurate in my opinion.
  8. I had it when I decided to remake Sanctuary: Remnant Squadron, but I don't know what I did with it... it converted actor data, skills, items, monsters, common events. everything except scripts obviously.
  9. I had it when I decided to remake Sanctuary: Remnant Squadron, but I don't know what I did with it... it converted actor data, skills, items, monsters, common events. everything except scripts obviously.
  10. I'm curious did you use any conversion software for converting Dark Chaos from VX to ACE?
  11. Find a store that still sells yugioh cards, they're all in spanish...

  12. Update: Finished Game Manual, can be found here: http://brokenmessiah16.wordpress.com/games/sanctuary-innermost-feelings-2/
  13. Lasagna? I see you're one of them... just kidding. Welcome, and yes I got caught up in Monster Hunter and completely neglected everything else I would normally do today lol.
  14. Porn is just like alcohol, people are going to find a way to it, regardless of the law.
  15. @RKO-FRANKLIN: The cheapest one I know of is 1and1.com and only costed me 3.99/yr HOWEVER, I do not reccomend this place because..you pay for you get. But yes, it is extremely cheap. As for traffic, I do know of some lesser than honorable ways to do it but your best bet now is to post it places where people who would be interested the material be, not just rpgmaker and game maker esque sites. When I was working on Code Geass: Painful Memories, I posted in several forums on the web where people were trying to browser roleplay the game since there was no english. They practically jumped at the opportunity to play a english game.
  16. Well I use WordPress.com which in my opinion is much more superior to blogger, globster etc. You can mine by clicking on the Fenrir Studios in my signature.
  17. I used Wix in the past, and although it has some cool visual elements...that's about it has to offer. I recommend using a website that isn't flash based. Which Wix is. Also your URL isn't related to the website at all.
  18. Yes...we mustn't join the Enterbrain forum; it'll be just like Sony and Microsofts gaming forums: CENSORSHIP and BANNING. I'm curious though(I wondered this for a long time)what is the logo from?
  19. That is such a day killer...oh well I dont mind the wait
  20. Just like the Fire Emblem system where: Swords beat Axes Axes beat Lances Lances beat Swords How would I create this effect in rmvx? I'm thinking that I'd have it setup so that enemies would have a hidden status effect such as "Using Sword" and if that enemy attacks a player that has a Axe equipped, more damage is dealt.
  21. I find it helps when designing a event to have the BGM that would be playing in game playing through the editor. Really puts me in the mood.

    1. Jon Bon

      Jon Bon

Hmm. It never occurred to me. That's an excellent idea.

  22. Whats a good cheap video card?

    1. Polraudio

  23. I'll address your responses in bullets to keep things in order: I still haven't gotten around to writing a manual for it yet, but it is on the agenda I know that the index is wrong but I can't find where to change the index I wasn't aware of the missing BGM, however the "Mission Complete" is a sound that I setup to play if a sound is missing to prevent the game from ending from error. That's a good idea, I'm in need of character dev for pretty much everyone The revolver isn't in the game officially, however due to it being a outdated upload it's there. I want to upload a demo with current updates but my internet is far too slow and unreliable. I'll be the first to admit that the ending scene sucks lol. Because I lack the cinematic talent that it would require I'm thinking about presenting in another way such as through several comic/manga esque pictures. I figured I'd get someone from DeviantArt to do it and pay for commission. Horo with the negative health is a funny quirk about the Persona skills that I didn't think about. However since I plan to do the scene in pictures, I'm not concerned about it. Sacrifice takes half of your current HP and revives a player with it. In the games current version there is a MP equivalent that allows you to share MP among teammates. I implemented these as a way to make the game less challenging and more strategical as Dare Meguro(a bystander at the Drake Games says)"Four mostly dead players may be superior to one fully alive player."
  24. I never thought about how Theo would be looked at like that, lol. Yes... I see now, I had Theo set to say,"District 1, I see." I'll correct that. I'm using Yanfly Enemy Levels and Swap Monster scripts, so that the enemies that appear in a battle are random(though in this outdated demo, the beginning monsters are not applicable to this effect) and the enemies level up with the party. Did you know that you could return home and sleep in your bed and fully recover? I also agree that having less enemies in the early battles is a good idea. You must have ran into a lot of the "Red Skulls". Their the only encounter in there that resists Psychical. I used the skills from Persona because I believe it makes the play be strategical with skills. I reccomend each player have a attack of every type. I noticed after making the beginning that the early part of the game is really targeted towards Mana Users. However later in the game, elemental weapons will be available for the regular players. In fact, in the demo the Kurogane Dagger Lv.1 is available which has a 25% chance of casting Zio, while also having both Psychical and Electrical damage. I was gonna use all the different types of Psychical(Slash, Pierce etc) but I didn't feel like going through the effort after designing all the skills. I tried to design the game where if you're a smart player, it should be simple. That dude is Administer Schniezel, and he offers you the chance to join the PVP team Fenrir, but to do that you have to win the Drake Games. I might had forgotten to include how to get there... you walk out the gate in Genesis(do not use the District Elevator as it is a purposedly annoying system of traveling in Avangelist) which at then you'll appear the Overworld. The Drake Games is the giant arena thing at the top left. You've missed a very significant part of the story which I guess is my fault. I fixed the Actors not having skills initially, but it isn't in this demo. The nameless items were weapons that I later removed in the database. I'll fix that right away. I want to remove the system myself, but too many important aspects of the game rely on time based events, so in the meantime until I find something better, it'll have to stay. Whats annoying about it, is there is supposed to be weather but it doesn't work right. The fact that all the players can learn any skill and equip anything(for the most part)did make me realize that there was gonna be the characters that seemed largely useless. I'm not really sure how to alleviate that, the only real difference between them is that some elements do more or less damage to them. I'm certainly open to suggestions. Did you find the Sacrifice command useful? I incorporated the idea from God Eater Burst. It revives a dead player by giving up half of the users current HP. Thanks, this is the first time I've gotten a opinion of the game from anyone.
