When having gender selection, you'll see that it'll be like making two games in one which can get confusing; thats why i took out genders in my game.

For a card battlesystem the hard part would be creating a intelligrnt ai. I suggest you start with simpler stuff or in case your interested a source code for a yugioh pc game exists in c++
