I have used Ubunto and its pretty slick, the only issues is just getting used to the file system. Very good free alternative it windows.

You mean like while a map? I dont think you can, but you can copy the map and just set one to mode 7 and fadeout the screen and do a transfer.

If you didnt know I bought a domain and made a blog at Broken-Productions. I like to think of it as a Internet new-stand for all rpgmaker and game design. I have high hopes for this website being very popular in the future and somewhere reliable, however I have limited time to be on it so I decided to expand The Broken Word Branch of Broken-Productions. I need as of right now just a few Contributers for the website. You would have power to write posts, but they would have to be approved by Me before they are published. I think about three people should be good for now. Your job would be to search various forums looking for post worthy stuff and updates to game engines.

I personally host with 1and1.com and use Filezilla for ftp purposes. Its simple and to the point.

That, my friend, is Rpgmaker's version of The Blue Screen of Death I guess you could call it the Small Window of Death. I have never seen anyone ever fix this, sorry :( :( :( The only solution is to take the folders and copy them into a new game.

That I think is the shadow of the tree, yeah use GIMP and then look for the wand tool and select the shadow and then delete.
