A Nameless Fantasy

Hi, I'm Kadski. I have been working on a RPG and I'm looking for people to help. Your name will be included in the credits. I need a scripter for the battle system, a writer, and a musician, and if one of them might help with the mapping that would be great.

 

Synopsis................

 

The main Character (Ralph) is leaving town today to gofind a job in the city. His friend Evylan wants to go with him because she was afraid to travel alone. They pass through a town on the way where they can either get Ralph's friend Alrald to join them (He lost his dad's VERY expensive sword and needs to buy another one) and you can also get a maid named Cecilia to join your party because she hates her town. When you get to the big city (Which is based around a castle) you decide to ask the King to let you join the royal guard. As it turns out the king has been kidnaped by "The Black Sun" (Which is a cult that worships the Demon God Sefaris {Sey-far-reys}) The queen says that she will pay you 10,000G each if you can rescue him (10,000G would be like 10 million dollars to us).

I like the map design, but some sections of the map seems a little plain.

 

The story is generic, but it is slightly raw, because of that, it has a lot of potential.

I hope you take advantage of it and make it good!

As far as the mapping the second one looks far better then the first one. Maybe it's good your computer crashed. ;)

Also to expand on the story, the people kidnapped the king because his is a bloodline from god and if they sacrafice him they can bring their cult's demon god Sagnog into the world to become the new god.

Just there are too many trees.

 

This is what I have noticed in games like Aveyond too, excessive use of graphics.

 

Do not over do, if you have to make borders with trees, then just add random trees in two columns max and not in straight lines.

'Black Sun' itself sounds good, if that has not been taken already..

 

when sun gets black ? sun eclipse , you can use eclipse in the climax of your game, in occult and magic all of it has a lot of influence.

 

Your title graphics can have sun eclipse pic with your main chaarcters pic etc.... just visualizing

I like that, maybe they have to sacrafice the king on the "Day of Black Sun" or the eclipse to make the demon god come back since this would be the only time the evil invades during the suns god domain. Hmm maybe you can't beat the demon god but if you can do like 20k in damage to him then the sun god appears and vanquishes him, hmm...........

Graphic can be done better, use a graphic which has a diamond ring effect of the eclipse and then change the white part to yellow and use a good colored font with bevel effect.

Yes, and I just learned some new tricks yesterday I wanna put to use. Have any particular colors or anything Kadski. What exactly do you want it to say?

Maybe have an solar eclipse with a view as if your looking from a town in darkness. And have it say

Hmm... I like it but I meen looking up from like inside the city and the sun is overhead and its Black sun (Not dark sun). I like the sun though!

This game sounds pretty interesting! Also i agree that the 2nd map looks awesome. I am willing to help with writing and possibly a bit of mapping if you still need the help. Keep up the good work!!

Het I'm new here and I would be willing to contribute as a writer as that is the kind of thing that want to do in my career. :D I would be extremely grateful if let me help as this would be the first project I've worked on.

You can add more visible rays coming out from edge of sun.
