Yeah, and its much more friendly with a one forum contest. Not that I know of any multi-forum contests. But I prefer it this way.
-
Thats exactly what I think, but we could end up going a bit off-topic here...
-
Some of those are quite amazing. The hubble telescope must be quite old by now, they should be able to make a more powerful one that can see even further into space. I wonder if it will ever find other life forms similar to humans...
-
Ouch man :D Na, just kidding. The forum is still really new, so it would have better to start this a little later when we have more active members. So if you dont get many participants, you should probably extend the application due by date. And is this a multi-forum competition? And Dark Dragon, this is a one on one, no teams, I believe, right SCMike? I will let you know if I will join by the due by date. Because it all depends on something else Im doing...so I'll let ya know.
-
Haha, that sure is weird, and funny. Maybe you were hungry that night...
-
oh, right. Yeah, well im for, its not possible. Like i said above.
-
oh, well i dont think i have net framework 2.0, i have my automatic updates off, i think. Can you provide a download for that please?
-
The new one contains many more files than the other downloads, and im still not getting it to work. I havent got service Pack 2 installed, maybe thats the problem. Well im still trying, I tell you if i get it to work.
-
Anytime. I just hope that I have helped you. Goodluck and keep us updated with your game!
-
You should make a request for it, i've never had it myself, just heard of it. Im sure someone will know here...I think SCMike will know. He posted a script from it once. Im not saying stop on your other project...its a tough one. I would go with the Zelda Engine myself, then move on to the big project. But thats me.
-
If you use 2k3, I wont be able to really help you, and you wont really be able to be active at these forums. And thats bad. It sounds to me like you are going in to a gigantic project, without doing any smaller ones right? It sounds like to me that you are perhaps going to big. Saying that it will fail if you go at it alone. Perhaps you should start smaller...what are your thoughts on that?

:D You're a funny one. Ok, now Creation Asylum has been around for a couple of years, and we just started up. So lets not get to ahead of ourselves. Now why would I start a forum without the intention of making it the best of its kind? Well I wouldnt really, I want to make this the best place it can be, and thats what I intend to do. My first goal, ofcourse, is to help everyone that comes here, who needs help. And make sure that they get their problem solved. You can all help by making this place the best it can be, by helping me do this. Then we can talk about rivals :D -
hmmm, well first of all, do you want to continue making Neversight, or do you want to start a whole new project?
-
Hmm, well just checking if you're following our advice. Not that you have to. But it will really help you. And thats our goal afterall. Right, back on topic.
-
You have quite a problem there...I'd say go with rmxp. Its the only one I know. What do you mean 2k3's resources are better? Not the last time I checked, the rmxp ones are much better quality, or is that not what you were talking about? One thing I consider myself good at is never giving up. I dont see any other option, you dont get better by giving up. My point is, well you havent found a good CBS, yet. There will be one out there, it takes a bit of patience, and sometimes you have to go with what you've got. Have tried Mr. Mo's CBS? In our scripts Archive. Why doesnt your photoshop save? You need to get that fixed. Go on the some photoshop forums, or send them an email at their website. Just get it fixed. Can you re-install it? You could download a trial if there is one maybe...although that would be your last option. Just get what you have fixed. No one has ever done anything truly great with out a little hard work, so really put a lot of effort into your game. It will be the Mona lisa of games in no time :D So what are you going to do?

For your game? Projects & Teams If you want to recruite: Recruitment Or just talk about it in general: General Discussion

Dont worry, we are all friendly people. And we're all glad to have you here.

Those screenshots look really good. That render in rmxp looks cool. I have little/no experiance with 2k3, although i think i have it on my computer. I found rpg maker xp when i was playing around with rpg maker 1999(I think thats what its called? Its been more than a year) that I found on one of my brothers CD. So I pretty much went straight to RPG Maker XP. But your old game looks great. I like that first screenshot. Im not a spriter, but I can pretty much do anything with sprites as far as manipulating them goes. And I can also write scripts, but not advanced ones like battle systems. Im still learning, as I always will be. Ok, if you want to discuss your game, make another thread. We sort of went way off topic here, so lets get back on topic.
-
:D Thats gotta go in my top 10 introductionary topics. Welcome the forum Demondaze, I've seen you around other forums also. We have three different writing forums, so good thing you're a writer. Hope you enjoy yourself here :D
-
So did we help you? ...
-
Some of your songs remind me a little bit of the Doom music. Have you played doom? You may know what i mean. 2 years, thats a very long time to have been working a project. Now that you have started again, your project will be better than ever, and where better to show it off than here :D I will help you with your project with whatever I can do. I dont plan on going anywhere, so you know where to find me. You're going to have all custom music right? It's quite impressive how one person can make those songs, you've got to teach me one day.

Now thats alot of work, but you'll never see me stop trying. -
Yeah, in your attachments. Alright, Im downloading the rest, I'll tell you if I have anymore problems. I cant believe how small they are, you have to love midis :D
-
Ok, thanks, I like that kind of feedback so i can work on it with the others I do. It was a lot worse before that, I did blur the shading a little.
-
Thanks. I sort of used a different technique with this one, but its only made of one colour. One orange colour and the rest is shading and light. I will try and make more for you. To be honest, I chose an easy design. Im not very good at drawing. At all.
