The music thing can't be done without rewriting the Audio class which would be massive. However, you can split the song up in say, ten pieces of equal length then use variables to remember approxomately how long it had come.

We need three more participants, this is going to be awesome! RPGMakers.net has nearly twice as many scripts as it has days online in total. (Among the scripts are no less than 10 of MGCaladtogel's famous scripts) </brag>

This just seems very unproffesional to me. I wouldn't enjoy being on a forum with an admin who gets mad swiftly and can't handle critism. I'm not saying you don't, only that you don't seem to. I'm not trying to offend you, I'm telling you what you should work on if you want to make a good site (In my opinion). It also seems to me that you lack dedication :P You should really buy a real domain name.

Rpgmaker = an engine Rpgmakers = people making RPGs They are similar but after all, all rpg maker communities have similar names.

My vision RPG Maker is not dead. Not in any way. Classical RPGs are still very popular in the indie community and beyond, it is a great genre for storytelling in my opinion, and RPG Maker is the best tool for making these. The problem is that the first generation of RPG Maker users have left the scene, at least many of them, therefore it might seem like the community is dying. Nope, I don't think so. After all, the major RPG Maker forums have about 100 guests online constantly. If not more. I think the problem is that most RM forums today are driven by people who don't use the engine anymore. The forums aren't productive at all and aren't very good development arenas. On RPGMakers.net, my goal is to have a community that is active with development, various creativity, support, scripting, making resources and first of all, making awesome games. I want to try and raise the level of rpg maker projects by providing great and personal support. I hope to see you all on there. I am working on a project gallery and a resource gallery as well as on making the theme look better.

I feel that I have to justify myself. My post was totally related to his request. I might have misunderstood what he was asking for, but a script that makes the player end the jump anytime by pressing a key is at least not so unrelated that it is worthy of a "not sure why you posted that." Did I explain in a bad way what it does? I'm so sorry, I'm not a native english speaker. Didn't the script work? It happens that the scriptlets I write aren't properly read trough, if that's the case it is my fault. Concerning the swearing in my code: I did not know that it was a rule against swearing, but if it is I should have read trough the rules more properly (I should have anyway). old_update is a very common alias name so to improve compatibility I added the F word (it was the first thing that came into my mind).

Put this script above main (and include the script you posted too) class Game_Map alias old_fucking_update update def update old_fucking_update $game_player.jump_count = 0 if Input.trigger?(Input::A) end end Now, the player will stop every time the A trigger is pressed. Don't know what triggers are? Press f1 while playtesting and you will see.
