Suddenly... I feel that my motivation has disappeared. Although I want to complete my project/game so much, and I've worked so hard, I just get depressed when trying to do something. I have got so far, and I always look forward to working on my game, but when I sit there with rpg maker in front of me, I'm just... overwhelmed by the fact that it's still a lot to do, and if I fail to do it there wont be no game and all my time will have been useless. What should I do? If somebody makes me get trough this, I will reward him with an unencrypted version of the game. :(

If my neighbor is doing it (or anyone else) then it gotta be the right thing to do.

A good AI system first calculates all actions that would make sense, and in percentage how much each would make sense. Then a randomly generated number decides which of these actions is selected.

Do you mean what phase/where in development I make the battles or what places in the storyline/gameplay I put them? I'll assume that you mean the second one. I say that random encounters are allowed, UNLESS(!) you are using the default battle system. It shouldn't be legal to use the default battle system anyway. I use to say it like this: The less action-oriented your battle system is, the lower your encounter rate should be. Enemies moving on the map so that you can avoid them is a good alternative if you are using a slow-paced battle system and want encounters.

If they don't like them, don't play them. It's plenty of books/movies/games/whatever that I don't like, and even some that I really dislike, but I don't demand them made ilegal by that reason. :nono4:

Yeah, but Game-Making skill is not one skill either. It's a term that includes all skills used when making a game, which means also in most cases writing. It includes design, music, writing, programming, and more.

Use a sleeping charset. ;) If you don't have one, put the charset into photoshop and close his eyes. That will do the job.

My problem is not that I suck at mapping: :biggrin_002: http://rmvxp.com/thread-2379-page-1.html I don't really have a problem at all. It's just would be helpfull if someone could do some of it.

If someone feels like helping me out a bit with mapping then I'll be gratefull. It's a lot of maps I need finished and I have to work on the scripting. With some help with the maps the game will be completed much faster.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by making 'him' online. I will assume that you mean the game, and that is really really hard. The other question is really simple. In the blizz-abs folder it is a pdf file called manual. It explains all aspects of the system.

blizz-abs is easiest in my opinion. Read the manual that comes with the script to learn how to use it ;)
