should I make a few tuts for some simple text styles?

Hebi, if you post the text here, I could take a look and possibly replicate it and show you steps. Pol, I like the second one, its very cool. I normally dont put a stroke on something with Alpha on the outside, as it tends to look messy, but yours turned out quite nicely.

Well, these are the things I need help with the most: An experienced C++ Programmer An experienced Pixelartist (to help me with the graphics) An Advanced PHP Programmer An Experienced Lua Scripter Sound FX composer another pixel artist is lowest priority. C++ is also not that high, unless I can get someone to build a custom engine for this game. Lua may be the highest priority.

First off, since when are the Mayans, an undeveloped human sacrificing people, and all knowing race? Yeah, thats just wrong. I dont care what storms or earthquakes were on their calendar. they were barely human, as they acted like savage animals. Also, their calendar is supposed to just restart and go back to the beginning. its a wheel, and they have it as a cycle. no end, just repeating. As for the global warming. There are more plausible theories to this. First one is that we were in an ice age a long time ago, and we are still gradually coming out of it. This feeds to the second theory that the Earth just has a cycle taht would round in an ice age-to-warm part system. This makes complete sense to me. Im sure the Earth can take a beating. dont worry about emitting gasses from your cars, the earth is fine, we're on a cycle.

lol, choosing a palette is hard, but yeah, I suppose tahts what I do. but you should also change the hue slightly, like when you go lighter, also go up a hue lsightly. makes for more contrast. and no, thats not the sky, jsut a random blue splashed behind that stuff.

so, the grass has changed just slightly, but not too big of a diff for me to go host a new image. I suck at the rocks for under tha grass so Im trying to get help from pixeljoint to complete this. The hair is not final, and was jsut a test. It wont looks so plain when I actually tackle the hair.

I dont really keep up to the exact standards of the newest HTML. I found the newest standards to be fairly useless and irrelevant, because all the tags I use are still compatible. so, i dunno what version exactly, but it all works out.

Its supposed to look plain-ish. almost liek a paper-ish feel. HTML and CSS.

Once thigs are up, ill show you guys how it runs, and hopefully, there may be a beta release soon. dont know yet though. Im not the programmer.
