hey Steven, keep going with what you love doing and it will end up good! Helps always at your side here at rmxpu, settle in and get game making =D plus I don't knoaw any code/eventing, just everything else invloved

So how do you design your levels? Do you fully plan out the level, make it as you go tackling whatever issues may arrise or some other way? I tend to struggle with level design, I never know wether to draw it out on paper/ digitally, just plonk tiles together and see how it turns out, think about what's going to be involved in the level and where enemies will appear etc.

I would enter with Lumis but I've already began work on it. I may enter with another game type though, so I'll have some time to think about it and then come back here with an answer

Yes I have an idea of what the gameplay will be like, in fact I've got a few ideas that are quite solid. I know for sure that the gameplay is probably going to change over time - always does with development and one of my main goals is to have a custom engine rather than relying on the rpg maker series. So an answer to your question, is yes, I would love a programmers for a custom engine! I simply hadn't gotten around to propperly requesting programmers because I felt I needed more substance (gameplay graphics/mechanics) before doing so so if your wanting to apply to be a programmer, then do so!

A level based on a standard looking street with paths, roads, signs and lights... but with the nature of the Lumis Realm, televisions and flying eyes have invaded this quiet street! Casting deadly creatures, light beams, nightmares into the air from their screens and visions! Be on the lookout... These flying eyes freeze you in motion! As this happens the televisions don't just sit around waiting, some make a mad dash at you in a frenzy to inprison you in their set! The path to escape is a long one... Application form has been added to first post.

Ok so no images this week, I'm not happy enough with the selection, however I am still going to give everyone an update! First off I'd like to say I'm working on the tiles/ graphics everyday (so far) which is making great progress! Concept work has begun, a new style for the game is being developed still keeping with Lumis' noticeable stylistic approach and animations are a great pain to make... Several rough character designs have begun, deciding on which I like and think suits the game more - It's getting there Been on the search for small unknown composers that spark a talent. I knew releasing an image or two this friday (today) would have been lucky... but so far I'm happy with how it's going, so wish me luck I keep stuck to it! Images should be up next friday, maybe even mid-week some time if I'm happy enough with them.

for custom resolutions, someone would have to code a script. it is possible for sure (not in fullscreen though) but it's just finding someone who would code it and glad your making progress with the tearing issue :) also, 1920x1200 and a game that is 640x480 is gonna look like hell, it does with 1920x1080

you forced any options within CCC? IF so that would explain, best go into their (gpu section) and click 'Default' or some similar sounding option to reset default settings. It might even be a bad driver, not necessarily a bad driver as such but more of one that doesn't agree with rmxp that well try re-installing rmxp if those fail - just remember to back-up your games ;D

wow 2.31gb ram on idle, what the hell did I do that day XD anyways, here's mine atm, just the same basically i don't care that much
