Haha.. this is completely easy I dont know why someone couldnt explain this to you. OKAY *cracks knuckles* Well. To explain skills I have to actually make a long long essay about the skills and what not.. but do take you have the gist of what skills are. There are recovery skills, status skills, reviving skills, buff skills, elemental skills, weapon skills.. and basically all they are, are the same thing in different packages. Recovery skills deal negative damage. Weapon and Elemental Skills deal damages according to the weakness of the opponent Buff skills, status skills, and Reviving Skills inflict or recover from skills inflicted on you. To understand the skills above you have to think from an opened minded view. Skills such as status skills (States Tab) are there to basically inflict states. Which are handled in the state change box of the (Skills Tab). Elemental Skills and Weapon Skills are there to inflict more or less damage against elements (System Tab - Element Names) A being the greatest F being the worst. Now then, Animations and custom animations (Animation Tab) are handled through frame by frame animation. Clicking the Frame Tab, you can increase or decrease your frame to your discretion. Naming the animation should be the oxymoron of this description. Yet, lets skip to the meat of this description. Clicking the animation graphic box would allow you to use uploaded project animation or RTP animations.. you can find such resources online by simply searching. Incorporating all that I've told you in this brief tutorial would ultimately aid you in making your own skills.

Remember even if you use different layers, they're still connected. If you put a carpet on a tree.. and the tree's priority isnt set right you'll be able to walk over the tree. Passage -> Passage 4 dir -> Priority Those 3 are vital in maps, especially custom ones. If I had a demo I could tell you exactly what the problem is.. or even a screenshot.

I dont do this often but, I'll give you some tips. Tip 1 - Remember you're in a castle, these are the richest establishments in the medieval era. Be sure to add floral and sophisticated panorama. Tip 2- Walls are not flat, try your hardest to remember there are corners on walls and if you just design 2 dimensional maps it'll look bland and tasteless Tip 3 - Research, study up on castles or at least take not on how castles are established. Tip 4 - Try looking for other autotiles.. and sadly you need to develop a style all your own to making maps. Practice, practice, practice. Tip 5 - YOU -DONT- have to use the whole map for a room.

Before I answer this this is dreadfully important. Are you using visible monsters or the DBS encounter system? I can give you an explanation but no matter which way you go its quite a read.

Easily solved. Im pretty keen when it comes to improvisation. I can knock out two birds with one stone with this subject as well. Okay follow these steps down to a T. Movement Type Custom. Edit Move Route Move at Random. Change Freq 4 Move at Random Change Freq 6 Move at Random Change Freq 5 Ok Now change the Trigger to Event Touch. Change the Autonomous Movement Speed to 3 and the Freq to 6 Now go to the Event Commands and set move route (This event) Direction Fix On Move Away From Player Direction Fix Off This way your events AI should be believable, and what not. When it walks into the player it'll back up.. or be pushed back. If you dont want your event to move in a certain spot. Make a new event and place it where you dont want it to move. Press OK and the event wont be able to move in that spot. If you want to make it more real, you can incorporate switches.. but I wont get into that unless you ask.

Demo: Legend of Harpine Beta Demo. v7 Controls: Z to attack S to scroll down This demo only has 40 - 60 minutes of playtime. (Without optional easter egg hunts, there are storyline developments that you could skip over.. if you're not a story buff. Yet, 30 minutes is still dedicated to the storyline.. give or take walking distances.) Most of the features are cut out as well (CG cutscenes, Voice actors, Original Music) Yet, the demo is here.. because I hate delaying things too much. Especially to those who have been faithfully waiting for me to release this game. This game is one of the few RM rpg's that balances storyline and battle. What ticks me off is that there are four other major castles in game <.< I DONT WANNA DO THEM. Tips: There are 3 bosses in Poroure's cave. One hidden, one optional, one mandatory. There are 8 hidden items in game.. some hidden in plain sight.. others only discovered when you look around the castle. There are one or two items that you can get after an optional event. Enemies do drop items (sometimes at a low chance) Soldiers drop soldier restoratives The chicken drops restoratives of the health and reviving restoratives. The wolf drops attack boosters Mice drop Skill restoratives. Pleads: Please tell me if there is any errors in game. I kinda got lazy towards the end.
