Well people were complaining that the rtp tempaltes(the only sprites in scrive now) shouldn't be added into it without the creators permission although they are open resource, i agree with them as although its open resource i should still ask. So that leads us to zero sprites in the program now.

Bump! well due to the fact we have hardly any sprites at all I Decided to release the program with just the new version of scrive in it. It has a new feature that lets you choose what engine you want the script for (VX or XP obviously lol) and then you choose scripts from there! IF you have any sprites that you would like to see in the next version of scrive which will now be called Dive direct Archive and will have a sprite archive with a program selector so you can choose what archive to start up with) it will be very helpful! Dont worry dive makes sure no one will forget to credit you for your sprites and tells people many time too and even warns them.

Anything that is just as good as trap but doesn't do the posting requirement :D. HE could also do a payed host that gives him a good amount of stuff with a free domain that way he can be paying for both at the same time for equal or a bit more then he pays for the domain now :D

It scared me too I thought this was the loss. Why dont you think about switching hosts marked so things like this don't happen :D? It is very retarted that trap17 expects you to post that much! Ive heard of a place called x10 hosting offers the same amount as trap 17 has 100 percent up time is very fast with forums everything :D and you don't need to post!!

Hi I am making a game as some of you know called VX Chronicles. Im trying to take out the cliche things that most RPG have in the story, which I pretty much did my best at doing and think I got it done. The problem is now that I dunno what features and typical rpg stuff i should put in my game. These were some ideas I have for my game that would make it more RPG like but I was wondering what else would I need to make my game the ultimate RPG Experience!? Ideas: I was thinking of having the typical maze sort of maps where in places like forests etc the paths would become a fork and leave it up to the user to choose which way to go, obviously if they choose the wrong way then there screwed :D, i know this can be annoying at times but a lot of rpgs do have this except if its one of those ones where the map is just a huge world like oblivion :D. Any who I also had a plan to make battles occur on map, what I mean by that is the monsters would be walking around on the map(not too many monsters cause the maps arent that big) and i they spot you they run after you but you have the chance to get away by running away. You can also dodge fighting them by walking around them if they are facing the opposite way to you etc. Those were some ideas I have for my game that would make it more RPG like but what else would I need to make my game the ultimate RPG Experience!?

I updated it with inuyasha!! I also realized I messed up on the vx sprites positions so I will edit those and repost them after I get done with shippo!!

You need .net framework 3.5 for it to work you should already have it if auto updates are on if not youc an get it from microsofts site

These are taken from a game on the ds called Inuyasha: Secret of the Devine Jewel. As of now I only have one character but I'm working on it. Any who here is the very first sprite from the the Inuyasha series. Now these sprites work best with VX Tilesets but they can be used on XP as well which is why I included a zp and VX version of each character. Later when I have all characters I will make a compiled version for vx like most VX charsets are :D Kagome: XP Kagome: VX Kagome: - must add to compiled charactersets to make it work in vx Inuyasha: XP Inuyasha: VX Inuyasha: - must add to compiled charactersets to make it work in vx I will get Sango, Shippo, Miroku, and Inuyasha later! I will also be getting civilian sprites if possible.

It is not the key lol it is the psikey.dll inside the rpg maker xp folder :D. Go to my computer>c:/>program files>enterbrain>rpgxp>psikey.dll Copy that and place it on a usb or email it to yourself like ark said. Then go into the same directory on your new computer and move the file on the usb or from your email to it :D. To be safe i would restart the computer then try and see if rpg maker xp works!

It is a good idea to that and help other people out but im sure you can do it while doign other things ^_^ ;). But that is awesome maybe you can teach me a bit about scripting lol!!

I like that song a lot though it is going against god but its your choice what you believe in :D Im not going to yell at you for not believing, tis your life you do what you want! Well that light in the wall is something that happens in the game if you talk to the right person :D. Also at the moment when you talk to the archaeologist you do notice she all of a sudden gets confused and forget anything has ever happened :D? Yeah its a fore shadow to tell you that your team mate is part of the counsel cough cough. I know you cant tell right away but you will later in the demo :D. Also I dunno why it starts in the maze except that we can say its right next to the main characters town lol. I will think of a reason but most rpgs do start off in the most random places or in an area where something is going to happen that helps the story out :D in my case it does!

Thanks very much :) the next version will be called Dive direct archive and now include a Sprite archive in it!! It will have the ability to change the background as well from black to Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet(Purple)!! It will have a few other features like program select which will let you choose what program to start up first :D. Chief has been a wonderful help in all this as he has made the new backgrounds, icons and more!!

Remember this is still beta. Also VB is dumb and is suppose to auto size stuff for you but doesnt, I will make sure to tell cheif how to make it autosize although it is alo't of work!!

You must be using a different size then 1024 x 768.

It is actually about the same size as all other browsers are. I compared it to IE and Firefox and the browser is the same!

I believe you should be able to change the title of your thread if it is as follows: A project/script/resource thread. This way you can add updates to the title like [Added Demo 2] or [Added new version] etc. This is very helpful in both getting the word out there and so people know ahead of tie why there is an reply to the thread :D.
