I just meant that, if you want something free, you might as well UNLESS you plan on actually using bandicam or fraps a lot because the free versions are not worth it if you hardly ever use them and want more than 10sec videos. (Unless they've changed it since then) So yeah, I made a boo boo. Please don't make it worse.

This is why I want to moderate the quotes section. Even some of mine need to be removed. Edit: I'd like to suggest a few rules... 1. If the quote is by a real person, but either their first and last name or their online username. 2. If the quote is by a fictional character, put the character's name and, in parentheses, what franchise they are from. Example: 3. Research your quote if you're not sure who said it or don't know exactly how it went. I mostly just want this because I care about accuracy. (Yes, I realize this means some of my quotes need to be changed) If everyone does this, it'll make everything a whole lot cleaner. I suggest "Edit" and "Delete" buttons for moderators so we (mainly I) can clean stuff up.

Honestly...my suggestion is to pirate something like bandicam or fraps just because I don't think it's worth the money unless you're going to be using it a lot. Even if I had a link to a cracked copy of either, I wouldn't post it here.

I'm honestly not sure which is weirder. Me!Me!Me! has a lot of really weird stuff in a much shorter amount of time. Evangelion has a few episodes and a movie of messed up stuff, but there's an actual plot. Not all 26 episodes are super weird, but it gets really weird FAST around episode... 18 I think it was. Ep. 26 feels like someone was pulling a joke on you and it's not really the ending...and then there's the movie, which clears things up, but still leaves you thinking:

I'd like to add to my list of anime. No clue where it would go in a ranked list, but my brother recently got me to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion. It is so messed up... You know when you see something and it's just so weird and ridiculous that you love it? Evangelion is kind of like that, but by the end of the movie (which is a conclusion to the anime) I was still wondering why I watched it, but I was somehow glad I did. Congratulations :D Apparently if you analyze the religious references, it makes even less sense than it did before. I'd give it a WTF out of 10. Which is NOT a bad rating btw.

That's what I love about RPG Maker, but over time I realized I didn't want to just make something that's "pretty okay." I want to make something that's freaking awesome. That's why I started using Unity. What I want to is just too big for RPG Maker...I think I do want to try and get back into rmxp though and try to really learn rgss so I can actually get started on Eltoria. The first game is going to be simple enough for it I think. The other two though...probably not. I'd love to see some good modern or sci-fi style tilesets in the style of rmxp (haven't seen anything I like). Then I MIGHT be able to do the other two games.

I feel like rumors of a new RPG Maker are just some constant fact of the universe. They are always there. Always. Like a lack of HL3. It cannot and will not ever exist in any universe. It is physically impossible for Valve to make a 3rd game in any series. That's just now the universe works. And RPG Maker will continue to disappoint people and cost way too much. Every new engine will have features that make it partially better than the last, but at the same time, not nearly as good as it could be and have features that make it terrible to people who are used to whatever came before it. ...Or maybe I'm just really pessimistic when it comes to Enterbrain. I have high hopes, but very very low expectations. If the next RPG Maker has... - ways of customizing the battle system somehow, allowing for normal turn based side-view, ATB, AP based, tactical, and ABS battle systems - The mapping of XP with infinite (or at least a big number of) layers - Most of the features VX Ace has, mainly the things involving items, skills, world maps, and vehicals - Lots of pre-made sprites and faces for characters and enemies - A customizable message box system similar to ccoa's UMS - An AI system for NPCs - An area-based event system similar to how triggers work in Unity - Resolution options - 2 sprite styles: chibi(VX) and non-chibi(XP) - Hue options for icons - XP's icon system, but with the number of icons that VX Ace has or more. - Graphics styles for various settings (medieval/renaissance, modern, sci-fi, etc.) ...Then I'd pay maybe $50 for it. I don't mind something that good costing money just because a lot of the work is done for you, but XP, VX, and VX Ace are very overpriced for how limited they are and how lazy Enterbrain was when making them.

Increasing the standard resolution would also increase the window's resolution, so yes. That's the whole point of the script.

I don't watch much anime and the ones I've seen, everyone's seen. I don't like anime that... 1. Are too weird (even funny weird sometimes) 2. Have tons of fanservice 3. Have lots of romance 4. Take place in a world full of women who all like 1 guy (harem anime are just the creator living out a fantasy through his protagonist...) That being said...I've only watched and finished 8. Any others I've watched were usually just because someone else in the room was watching them and I only saw a few episodes. If I leave out DBZ and Yu Yu Hakusho, seeing as I mainly like those for the nostalgia factor, that just leaves these 6...does this even count lol. Am I allowed to be here? Anywho... In order from "BEST THING EVER" to "Was Okay"... 1. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - This is literally my favorite tv series. Like...not just anime, but tv series in general. Best. Ever. Holy crap. 2. Attack on Titan - Arda said it pretty well...although I think this says it best: First part of episode 1: Alright, let's see what everyone's so excited about...I guess this is pretty good. Second part: Damn... Rest of the series: Damn... Halfway through: WHY CAN'T I STOP WATCHING!? End of what's out so far: HOLY CRAP WHY IS IT NOT DONE YET!? I NEED MORE! 3. Fullmetal Alchemist - The far INferior original anime. Brotherhood is a remake and follows the manga much more closely. It was created for the same reason DBZ has tons of filler: The manga wasn't getting done fast enough for the anime to keep up. While this is really freaking good, it's not nearly as good as Brotherhood and the story is hard to follow. The ending is kinda meh and I didn't know about the movie until I was finished with Brotherhood, so I never saw the real ending. It's the first show, movie, game, or book that wasn't about a dog that made me shed even a single tear...but it almost happened a second time when I watched that funeral again in Brotherhood. "Why are they burying Daddy? He has a lot of work to do and he can't do it if they bury him! DADDY!" T.T 4. Dragon Ball - This is on the list and not Z because I actually watched the whole thing and enjoyed it, while I kinda grew up with DBZ and like it mainly because of nostalgia. 5. Trigun - This isn't higher, partly because, I later found out and kinda figured that, important parts of the manga were left out of it. It's just...kinda fun I guess lol. 6. Sword Art Online - Everything above this is a lot better. SAO was mostly just disappointing. I started watching it after being told it was amazing and started to believe it after the first episode. (which is literally the best one) ...It all went downhill from there. This includes some of the things I hate to see in anime (and anything really): Weird, out of place, fanservice and a harem. Every single girl in the world likes Kazuto...even his freaking cousin. It's weird. It has a stupid ending that lasted like 11 episodes, all of which ruined Asuna as a character, making her a "damsel in distress" rather than a badass and the only character I actually liked...at first...the first part slowly ruined her too. The actual SAO part ended too soon and seemed like it was rushed... Episode 4 shows that the creator is a pedophile... But other than that I enjoyed it. I wouldn't recommend it though and won't be watching SAO 2. Edit: Crap, I forgot about G Gundam...oh well, not sure I'd put it on the list anyway. If you like Dragon Ball and Gundam and don't mind that it's a lot different from the other Gundam series', then it's okay lol.
