No, the whole point of that section is that there are "no rules". Plus we used to post in there all the time. Not sure about Omar though, because I don't know if he was here when it was still being used.

The Spam-O-Rama! section, which probably shouldn't be there anyway, is a bit broken... guests and normal members can post and see posts, but moderators get an access denied error.

A movie about Yoda that takes place about 800 years before Episode I and shows him becoming a Jedi Master would be cool to see. And no, I don't want to read any expanded universe stuff.

Yeah it does. I'm using this: http://www.gdunlimited.net/forums/files/file/63-ccoas-ums-18/ While this post has helped me a little, I've found that sometimes, when you want certain dialog between characters, it doesn't always fit anywhere. That dialog was thought of before I had thought of every bit of dialog before it, so it was like skipping an important part. When I actually got to that part, I ended up scrapping not only that, but a couple other lines as well, while still getting the same message across (which was that a certain character might worry a bit too much about his younger sister). I've changed plans this way before and it's actually part of the reason I'm writing out the whole story for at least the first game in my series before doing very much work on it.

When writing a book, to say that a character laughed, you basically just say they did. In a game, you usually hear or see them laughing. But I have a problem...What if I'm not using voices, and can't use a laughing animation (or it just won't fit in well) and have a character laugh at something someone said? I can't seem to get the dialog right for showing emotion that tells the player that someone was making a joke and wasn't completely serious. I used to use faces, but I couldn't find all the images I needed and they were all based on the RMXP RTP sprites and I'm not only using RTP (I mostly am though) With faces, it was easy because I just showed a picture of the character. Without, I seem to have to risk making it awkward by adding "ha ha" or something. Basically, this is what I want: *funny observation or joke* *acknowledgement of joke and response* This is the dialog: Michael: Maybe he just doesn't want is little sister to get stronger than him. *half joking* Cathy: Maybe. *Also joking. Doesn't actually believe it at all.* any suggestions?

If you think about it, the Jedi could probably use Force lightning as a power source. It's considered a Sith technique probably just because of how dangerous it is and how evil it looks. Same reason, I think, why the main characters in the Avatar series usually don't bloodbend or shoot lightning. In Korra, Firebenders shoot lightning to give Republic City electricity.

And Bloodbending is bending the water in someone's muscles, attempting to control their movements. Both are also really hard to do so most people can't use those forms of bending anyway.

The default scripts even have the system time saved when you make a save file. Doing it that way will probably cause the least problems altogether and I'm not sure it can be done any other way anyway. :\

The only game I can think of that has done anything like this that wasn't already online, was Animal Crossing, but it just used the system time to determine what had happened while you weren't playing.

Why is there no Assassin's Creed game set in Japan? You'd play as a ninja. It would be awesome.

Spoiler: Desmond isn't the main character anymore. They can have whoever they want because the player in the present day timeline is left open as of Black Flag.

Pol saw it too, so I figured more people saw it. I'm using Firefox and my resolution is 1366x768. Pol's I know is higher and he probably uses Firefox too. edit: Seems to be a Firefox issue... -
