    hi, so im making a custom pacman game that you can play via arcade machine, and when you collect the coins in game they plus 1 to your gold count, i can set a main timer on the map eg countdown from 30, and when you collect a coin it gives 1 gold then activates self switch a to a blank graphic, that is preconditioned to deactivate self switch a when the timer meets 0, and the main timer for the page will constantly refresh when it runs to 0 so all the coins will be on a constant reset after 30 secs, but what i realy need is self timers so they reset individualy after pickup, any ideas how i would do this ?

  3. this is really cool, following what total sticks said, i would like to do a similar thing where everything is blacked out but you light a candle from your inventory and the radius around you lights up, and also follows you when you move around the room, many thanks :)

I didnt mean that i actually believed 2012 to be more of a legit reson than religion, i was just pointing this out as another theory, and no theory is proven correct until it happens, although i say im not religous id say im spiritual in a way, if i exist on the terms i believe whats not to say that there is also other greater forces that exist around me, but they should not be ruled out as being almighty and have complete control over the world as we cannot prove them.
  5. i believe that any religion based theory about the end of the world is complete and utter rubbish, but i dont think we should all get in our shells and believe everything is fine, as for instance the 2012 theory is based on the Mayan calender, and if it has been recorded correctly, there calendar ends in 2012, also did you know that for there time the Mayans were the most advanced civilization for star mapping and so on, and then we get to the point that in our current time, there is space shuttles being designed to orbit the moon for long periods of time, as said for touring purposes, but the tickets are an extortionate price and only the rich and famous will be able to buy, why the hell would you want to pay hundreds of thousands to fly round a rock for some months, if you ask me i believe a lot is held back from society, and our world is not as safe as we think, the world as we know it has ended before and there is endless possibility of it happening again, whever from being hit buy a giant space rock, taken over by aliens, or us killing ourselves out by destroying our ozone or nuclear war, the universe is very vast and we know little more than our planet and the planets around it, the only thing i strive for is to live a happy and content life, and if the world ends tomorrow i will go out with a smile on my face, everything comes and goes we just need to accept that and try building for better tomorrow whilst we still got time on our hands :)
  6. i would test your desert map, by the looks of the tile arangement i dont think your player will be able to move between the two cliff faces that meet, unless of course your not aiming for this
  7. hey, just wondering if there is a way that i could use this to mod items to make diamond tipped arrows and ammo etc, also i it would be compatible with my script, im using mr mo's abs, it sources weapon ids from the weapon database

    nice man, this one is so i can call a menu map, so i can store all my items and skill selction ect, but i managed to put it all in one event and it works, thanks dude!

    big smies :) i made my teleporting stone, im also gonna dissable the menu and make my own via tileset, any suggestions on how to teleport on key input?

    yep that did the job, my script must be using some variables or main processes, as its constantly running it was messing with the direction, i will have to find out what ones it uses and label them so i dont run into problems in the future and mess up my script :) oh yes and is it possible to set this to run on an item for future reference say i obtain a teleporting stone later on

    buy the branch setup i meant the map that was stacked at the top in my map box, but this isnt the case, i unstacked them and it turns out its sending me to the map with the id of 1, but the variables is set like this--- @>text: would you like to view the world map? @>show choices yes,no : when [yes] @>control variables: [0001 map X] = Player's Map x @>control variables: [0002 map Y] = Player's Map Y @>control variables: [0003 map ID] = Map ID @>transfer player[022:hero 1 world map], (099,099) @>change character graphic.... @>when no branch ends then the 1 that send it back is set to send it to these variables but it just sends it to the map with the id of 1 and doesnt fix to the coordinates, the operation is set?

    i have it set right now, but when i go to exit the map it takes me to the map that is set first in my map setup branches? will i have to seperate these up

    i have done it but it doesnt return me to the same map, i have it set to constant then type my coordinates into the box besides this right?

  18. what sort of script is this, if it is for battling against events on the main map without having to go to a battle screen then you should try mr mos abs, i got a link for it here--- http://www.rmxpunlim...?category_id=11 it is very advanced so you will not be dissapointed if this is what your after, as for the script i have no idea bowt that stuff lol

    ok so i got a world map, that is only gonna be for teleporting so when i go to transfer onto the map my graphic will change to a cursor and if you have traveled to a town you can teleport there by clicking on it with your cursor , but i want to put an exit icon in the corner so you can return to the place previously stood, so what i need is an event or something that will memorize my position on the map before entering the world map, then been able to return me to that spot on exit of the world map.
  20. ye, i have ideas to involve future technologies, like time travel and also visiting mirror universes to alter factors that affect your own world, that would be cool if you move this, i will post a complete form when i have fully writen the story ect :)
  21. ok, so this is the start to making my plot for my first main game, --- A Parallel Universe --- ---the plot--- to start with you will be able to choose between 4 main hero's that are a part of different races set onto 4 different planets within the universe, each character will have there own plot line and also there stories may intertwine with each other as you advance throughout the universe, there will also be enemy races that the hero's do not belong to set on there own home planet, and will be enemy's to one race but allied with another so the choice of your character will play a major role in the outcome of the story, back to the character plots, the races will be very different from one another in appearance, all the way the technological advancement, i have decided a basic storyline for 2 races, one will be a far advanced alien race, and there home planet is under major threat of there planet been to unstable threatening there very existence, so they seek out a new planet from which they can migrate to, at this point they will learn of the existence of race 2- which is a medieval race, then they abduct the main hero to test on to see if they can live within there planets atmosphere, then the hero of race 2 is not as stupid as they think and escapes mastering the arts of the modern world, and setting out to save his race being replaced by these beings, as for the other 2 i am not sure yet. as for the other enemy races not included in hero's stories, some will be very advanced and hostile, and others will consist of very dangerous monsters, i hope you enjoyed reading my idea and look forward to showing you more :)
  22. the easiest way i found is to set up a different character graphic for it, but i use transport vehicles for world map transport so i set it to auto change for the map , if your wanting it for towns etc maybe set vehicle parking spots that changes your graphic, so say your dismounted you can see the vehicle in the parking spot, then when you activate it, it switches player graphic and the events second tab has no graphic, but dont put it on a self switch, put it on a main, then you can make all the parking spots change to the new event with no graphic, so you dont have the problem of not been able to dismount as theres already a vehicle there, then to change back simply set the second tab to change your graphic back and turn the switch of so its a vehicle again, hope this helps :)

  25. i set the events to activate the rocks directly and deleted the events second pages, no luck the rocks work fine its just the graphics ...
