It's ok...I haven't been fully active either...so...I've been busy playing Sims 2...I should really work on Crystals of Chaos...but...I dunno...I'm not sure where to go with it...I think I've gone as far as I can with RPG Maker XP...and it's just not far enough...

Just so you know, Leon, the attachment is broken...probably due to the move we did...so...you'll need to fix that.

I have no idea...I started the webcomic, but I haven't had any ideas...which is why I'm doing the starship thing right now...as a sort of filler until I can think of something...

It hasn't been fixed yet...we're not sure how to fix it...it looks like a forum problem, not an add-on problem.

Yeah...you can see the forums, but you can't post or download anything until you get 15 posts...so...I'm HOPING to get more members in that way...but we'll see...

Yeah...the problem with moving it, is that we have moved it several times, but everytime we move it, we move all the info from 110mb.com, including all the errors. That's why I said we may need to re-install...but I haven't decided yet. It would also cut down all the inactive members, too, though...we may have almost 400 members, but the problem is, 90% are inactive or spam accounts...with the new system we have up, though, it should help cut down on th inactivity, cause only people with 15 posts or more can get to the resources now, which means no one can register, grab, and leave, without staying for a while.

Well, if he doesn't someone will have to deal with it...I won't be here until July 11 or 12...so...odds are, unless one of the other mods does something, nothing will be done until the 12. However, as it has been this long, if nothing is added, we will probably close this topic.

haha, I'm smart...you're right, re-installing it all should fix it...but, I dunno...I tried a re-install with a couple mods, and it didn't do anything...maybe I should do a full un-install, then install...cause I just hit the re-install button instead...

I dunno, Saibot...I mean...the site problem is because of the database tables...if we download them, then re-upload them, we just use the same tables, thus the error won't go away...I think the only way to fix it is to fully re-install...but -shrugs- I dunno...In my mind, it won't work, since the problem is that we are using the database tables from 110mb.com...I don't see what re-installing, then re-uploading the 110mb.com-style database will do to fix it...

Unfortunately, that's the problem...by re-uploading that file, all we do is bring the errors back...it is errors in the database, that can only be fixed by a full-on re-install of the forum. That's why we can't do it...I MIGHT be able to bring back the members, but I can't guarantee anything else. In fact, I can't even guarantee that...

Aye, as such, we are now incorporating a policy that Leon, me, and Saibot have agreed upon. It is as follows: If ANY member (staff, admin, regular, doesn't matter!) agrivates you with something, hit the "report post" button. In truth, some of this could have been avoided by you guys reporting problems...None of us is immune to warns, demotes, etc. (save me...but only because I'm root admin...and then I'm only stopped from being demoted by anyway...). So, please, let us know if anyone is bugging you. If a member flames or picks a fight, it is a reportable offense, and it WILL be dealt with harshly, no matter their position.

Haha, sure, I suppose so...problem is, only I can change my access, being root admin...so XP but...yes, it does mean that you can get after me if I do something to harm RMXP Unlimited, as you did earlier with the MiDas thing.

Yeah...I agree, Leon. I was HOPING people would be open...the policy here is: We won't kick you just for telling us we're doing something wrong! Also, if a staff member persecutes you, just because he/she is staff, report it, and it can be dealt with. This includes me, as the head admin.

seeing as this APPEARS to be a script request, I think it should be moved to the scripts request section. However, the title seems to say differently...In truth, I'm not sure WHAT action to take here, and, as such, I will let a mod like Leon decide. My thoughts on it, though, would be thus: The title needs to change, and then the topic moved to script requests. But, that's just me...maybe it's not the best course of action...maybe it does belong here, though...I'm not sure...

Poll 1: The Re-installation of RMXP Unlimited Ok, so, here's the problem...with the fact that Marked has been copying the forum from one host to another, the current forum is still running as if it was being hosted on 110mb.com. As such, some add-ons do not work, and will never work. If you haven't noticed, some of our add-ons are run down, and look to be falling apart...there is a fix to this, but it requires a measure that may kill RMXP Unlimited. If we want to make this forum better, though, I think we may have to consider it. The step we may have to take is thus: Completely re-installing the forum and add-ons. As such, we will lose all members, requiring everyone to sign back up again. All old and new topics will be lost. In general, everything will be lost. However, it SHOULD allow us to re-install several add-ons, and get the site up and working properly once more...only problem with that is, though, we may not be able to keep the current site look, as I am currently unsure where to find the one Marked is using now (though I will definitely ask him). So, now the question is, my friends and fellow forum members, do we take the risk of killing RMXP Unlimited by making people sign up again, and losing everything, or do we keep the forum running in it's currently, slowly deteriorating form, which will ultimately kill it eventually, as everything is slowly corrupting...leading to an unknown time when everything will corrupt and crash the site? Also, in the above poll, I voted "Other" so that I don't have to continually hit "Show Results" in order to see the results. Plus, it'll keep me from voting in the poll. Poll 2: Leon for Manager Ok, so, after having a HUGE discussion between Saibot, Leon, and I on MSN, we have decided to put several new systems (for the better of the members) into effect. The first of these being that from now on, all updates will be posted her in poll format. You members may then vote on it, and, should the votes be for it, the add-on will be added. However, if the votes are against it, we will not use it. As such, as the first act of this new update, we now post this: Leon has been more then helpful to us on RMXP Unlimited. He's been a moderator, an admin, and a normal member. After a long discussion with him, we feel he needs to be an admin once more, to help keep us other admins in line, as well as giving him the power to help keep all members in line. So, we now ask, should Leon be accepted into the Manager rank, and help to be a Manager of the site? The Apology As promised by the title, there is an "apology" here as well. Both me and Saibot will be posting it up. We would like to apologize for being...to put it bluntly...asses about everything. I made several updates without thinking about you guys, or future members. As such, everything I did that could cause problems has been taken down (MiDas Prod section, etc). I am still in the thought process of what to do about the wiki I have installed...I will probably post another poll about it on a later date, but I can't today. Also, if I have been mean to anyone, I apologize now, as well as in advance for anything I may do (though, upon realizing it, I will apologize then to.) With this, we now begin our idea of "If any member causes you trouble, report it." We want you all to keep in mind that you will not be warned/kicked/banned just because you speak your mind. Flaming is not tolerated. There are ways to do it without flaming people. Once again, I apologize for being inconsiderate of all of you. I will do a better job next time.

As a final update addition to this topic: I have added...I think it is 5 games to the arcade. 2 are non-scoring games, which brings about the addition of our new "Non-Scoring Games" category.

Yeah...Leon's probably right about the whole thing with the subforum of my game...now that I think about it, it does seem rather unfair, doesn't it? I can fix that easy...as for the log of the staff...I JUST heard of that...as such, I am removing it as we speak. So, that's two problems out of the way. Anything else I can do to make this forum seem more fun? Also, I am unsure yet as of what my plans are with the MiDas Productions wiki...I am actually thinking of changing some things around regarding that...we'll have to see...chances are, MiDas Productions will be hosted here, but if I do that, it will be in a subdomain with its own forum and everything, that way it is completely set apart from the main RMXP Unlimited site. I did just now notice the "e-mail" things...I'm guessing that is because of the staff e-mails that Saibot has set up, correct? If so, let me know...we'll probably get rid of them...I see no point in having them around...I mean...if someone wants to contact the staff, they could always just use the normal e-mails, right? So, anything else I can do to make this place more fun? I honestly want to try to make this place better, and not business-y. Also, if any of these problems are a direct result of what Saibot said yesterday, I apologize...I am seriously wondering what to do...I have this feeling that the main problem is him holding the server...if worst comes to worst, I may have to move us back to 110mb.com, that way we won't have to worry about Saibot...I WILL attempt to see if I can get him to stop arguing and run everything by me first, though...if that doesn't work, we may have to make a lot of changes that I hope not to have to make. Once again, I ask the question once more. I really want to get this place to be more fun, so, what can I do to remove the business-y part, and make it more fun?

Actually, this error was unknown to me...I'll look it over, see what I can find...if the statistics thing is an add-on, though, I can't guarantee I can fix it...a lot of the errors from the original 110mb forum transferred with the site it seems...so some things may not work, even though we're on a domain...the only way to fix it would be to re-install the add-on...if it is a forum thing, though, and not an add-on, the only way (I can see at this time) is to fully re-install the forum itself...which I REALLY don't want to do.

o.o well...for one...I wish the other members would say something...that way we can sort it out...second of all, I didn't realize we were making it "business-y". If I had known, I wouldn't have added anything...I really don't see anything business-y about the site right now, though...I know MiDas Productions is hosted here, but is that really business-y? We're hosting another site is all...How MiDas Prod acts isn't meant to affect RMXP Unlimited in anyway...other then that...I'm not sure what I've done to make it feel like a business, instead of a fun place...I mean...I'm adding arcade games right now...so...I don't really understand...

Ok, so, I am combining all three of the last update topics into one here. So, hope you all enjoy it...it'll take up less space this way... We have moved! That's right, if you haven't noticed, yet, the site is officially moved! I hope you enjoy the new site, and watch for new updates soon! They're coming very soon...I think... Also, Avatar Galleries are finally up! That's right, we have added all the avatar galleries up once more (which was lost on the trip to trap17) with a few updates (mainly the EGS one, though...). So, if you want one from there, feel free to snag it right up. The gallery will be updating pretty soon...just need to stop by my normal avatar area, and see what they have new up there...it's mainly gonna be EGS though...sorry for anyone who doesn't like, or want, an EGS avatar. Also, I have added 3 new BBCodes. Flash Shockwave File, Google Video, and Youtube Video. I hope you enjoy them, and have fun with them. ^^ EDIT: Also, as YET ANOTHER update. MiDas Productions is now making its "home" here. As such, I will be adding 3 new forums. Also, there is now a wiki for MiDas Productions on here as well. Just go right here to access it. EDIT 2: Arcade works once more. I have deleted moonlander, as it only gave scores of 10,000. Players may now leave comments on their scores as well (I just had to switch on the "Can leave game comments" ability).
