  1. You mean...this guy? If so, there is his character set and battler for you. Just credit...I think it's iceaxe? EDIT: I use that for Zach in my JoH series, so...I had to do some searching for it myself a few years back...also, I moved the topic to the requests topic.
  2. Well, Marked left for a while...dunno how long. It might be permanent, might not, we'll have to see. Marked has given the forum to me, which means...I have no idea... I cannot guarantee everything will be staying the same, nor can I guarantee changes. Only time will tell what will happen. I cannot do anything yet with the forum, though. Marked is trying to figure out what to do for switching the forum over to me, and giving me site access...the only problem is...he has to be active on the trap17 forums in order to keep this site running...so we have no idea what is going to happen in that case, yet...However, we will see what occurs over time. So, just as a warning, things might move kinda slow the next few days.
  3. Cool. I made a quick edit, though, to mention that you have to hold CTRL down for it to work. Otherwise, it's good. Excellent job ^^
  4. nah, it's ok... -shrugs- practice makes perfect, you know? I'm pretty picky, too, though...so...you'll get it perfect if you keep working on it...maybe after that, you can work on the Crystal Dragon...which won't be so hard, cause he doesn't need to do anything...he just needs to look down is all...cause the player comes in from the south of the map...so...he needs to be facing in that direction...but, the Drakus one you're working on now mainly nees to be facing right...cause that's the direction they come in from.
  5. Well, looks good...though the head kind of looks like a frog head...no offense...but, it looks more like the position I need...I'd have to see him flying, though.
  6. Please don't double post...just hit the edit button...thank you...I've merged all your posts...and...I'll let you know...gotta get it into my game first... EDIT: Looks cool...though I think I'd prefer it if he was flying normally, instead of standing like that...the animation for his flying is a little jumpy at parts...cause he moves back, then suddenly jumps forward...so...if the side one could just be him flat down, flying, like the first line, that would be cool...Up to you if you want to try it or not, though...
  7. it looks pretty good, actually...could use to be smaller, but by the looks of it, you actually made it bigger then it was before...or so is my guess...by the fact it is a little fuzzy...either case, it is pretty good, and I would use it if you finished it.
  8. I didn't...that's the entire boat...I didn't do anymore of it, because I could never get the back section to work right...
  9. Well, this is what my boat currently looks like
  10. I agree with Marked, it sounds good...but again, I (personally) would say no, simply because I don't know the person...if I knew Kevan better, and trusted him, I might say yes...of course, it is up to Marked, not me...so...it is up to him to make the decision...
  11. Might I recommend waiting until we get things 100% settled? After all, it would be unfair for you to buy it, then have Marked decide not to move it to you, thus resulting in him never being able to, since you own the names. Also, I don't really think it's a good idea to accept someone's offer to host a site if they haven't been around that long...at least, I never seen you post until quite recently anyway...either way, I have to say, I (personally) would never accept this offer myself...since I don't know you and so forth...
  12. Well, I was thinking back today on how I used to make games before I found RPG Maker. So, I figured I'd tell everyone how it was back then. Back then (when I was about 9), I used to play a lot of games. One day, I decided I wanted to make a game. Well, at that time, I didn't have the "technology" I guess you could say, to do it. So, I relied on other things. First, I just started playing my games more often, then, I started grabbing note cards and writing things down. I would make lists on those notecards of how to play the game, such as: "1 - Play Defender until the planet is destroyed 2 - Play Incubation until you get through level 2 3 - Play Episode 1 of Doom 1 and so on..." I made about 10 different "games" that way. Of course, only I ever played them...no one else wanted to listen to my instructions on how to play. They just wanted to play the games...so, naturally, that slowly came to an end. When I was about 12 (about 2 years after I quit making games using other games) my brother stumbled upon a game called "Unlimited Adventures". UA is a game by AD&D that allows you to actually go in and make your own AD&D games. UA is where Journey of Heroes got it's start. It began one day, when I was bored out of my mind. I wanted something to do, so I loaded up UA and began working on a game with it. Slowly I worked on each level, copying the levels from my clue books to other AD&D games. The first game I made was "Heroes Journey" a game where the player could create up to 6 characters (like all AD&D games back then) and would have to go through the city of Phlan and do quests for the council. Finally, in the end, they would reach Valjevo Castle, where they would defeat the evil Tyranthraxus. Well, at the end of that game, I gave the player a strange gem. One that would be important later on. At that point, I had decided to continue the series with some other games. The plot of the next set of games would go on to be Heroes Journey 2: The Gem of Fire. Heroes Journey 3: The Gem of Water. Heroes Journey 4: The Gem of Earth. Heroes Journey 5: The Gem of Air. And finally, Heroes Journey 6: The Stone of Agonis. So, with that set up, I went straight to work. I began, once again, copying from my clue books. However, about 4 maps into HJ2, I stopped, because my computer died. It was a year later, when I was...I dunno...15? (yes! It took me 2 years or so of work with UA, and I still use it today) that I discovered RPG Maker 2003. My buddy, Tyler, introduced me to it...well...okay...he introduced me to RPG Maker XP (which had JUST come out at the time), but it didn't work, so I used 2k3 instead. I began work with that and, about a year later, I had completed Journey of Heroes: Crystals of Chaos (mind you, I went through about 20 stages with it...). JOH: CoC kept the same plot I had in the 6 Heroes Journey games, but combined them into one. However, I dropped Heroes Journey 6 out of the game, as I couldn't seem to get that part of the game to work right with RM2k3. I then began work on v1.1 of JOH: CoC (SOOO many glitches v.v), however, it didn't go very far, because about a month later (in January) I started using RPG Maker XP. Now, 2 years after that (It has been that, right? o.o) I STILL use RMXP, and I have completed Journey of Heroes: Crystals of Chaos. However, I have not had the graphics to finish up the game, otherwise it would be out in public at the moment. That's okay, though, JOH: CoC is my current college project (we'll see how it goes >.>). So...that's about it. That's how it all worked out up until I got RPG Maker XP. Cool story? Boring story? Tell me what you think.
  13. Ok, so, I decided that I'm really going to start pressing into Crystals of Chaos again. I want to get it done. I've been slacking off because of lack of ideas...but now that I have nothing to do anymore, the ideas have begun to come back to me. So, I'm going to go ahead and get back into it, and work on it again. Hope it works out. Anyone wanting to help, please do so, I need all the graphic and VA help I can get right now.
  14. err...wow...the page is stretched, but I don't have a bottom scrollbar...so I can't see what you're all saying...anyone know why that is, or how to fix it?
  15. sure, if you want to. I doubt I'll get anything better then this anytime soon so...
  16. yeah, I managed to make a bot, though it is only one section, since I'm horrible at making an entire boat...your boats look pretty good, though...and, unfortunately, I don't have much of a "map style" all my maps look pretty different, so I don't think anyone would notice the fact that they're different...
  17. Sounds cool...ummm...what's the point of it anyway? I'm kinda confused on that...also, I have actual wiki software if you want it. It is a free download...so...if you want it instead of the wiki thing for the board, I can send it to you.
  18. the webcomic updates at midnight (usually), so you can just keep watch. Again, it's updating the 4th and 6th, so...you can check it out on those days...it isn't much, though...just a couple more introductory comics, so...the real storylines will begin whenever I figure out what to actually have happen...any ideas would be nice.
  19. Ok, so, I have started up a webcomic. It is, unfortunately, an "updated whenever" style comic...so, I cannot guarantee an update all the time, but, there will be 2 updates this week (one on the 4th, and one one the 6th). So, there you have it. Just click here to go to the The League of Super Stupid Things Webcomic to check it out.
  20. all right, then, I suppose Leon is the winner...he has one vote...not mine, but I'm not gonna vote, cause I'd have to vote for Leon, as to keep from causing a tie...either way, I'm not sure which to vote for anyway.
  21. yeah, nice to at least see an attempt done...I've had lots of "oh, sure, I can do that for you" only to get nothing...so...it's nice to see someone actually do it... The last conversation I had with someone: Me: Hey! It's been 2 months, do you have it done yet?! Person: Oh, dude, sorry, I forgot. I'm too busy now. Sorry. You'll have to get someone else. Yeah..that's about all I've ever gotten...nice to know someone helped out...
  22. Very interesting. I can definitely say my game is going to have many styles of art...cause I have art from about 10 sources right now...so, this should be an interesting looking game. Thanks for the battler, Marked ^^ EDIT: I just tested it...he's too wide and too tall...he's at 256 pixels high right now, and I need him between about 190 and 200...can you shrink him down for me? I'm hoping that you can change his width with the height too, cause he's about 151, and most of my battlers are in the 130 or lower range...
  23. yeah, no one has voted yet...hopefully people will be voting soon, though...
