link them in what way? Do you mean transfer a character between maps? If so, just use the transfer event...or you can grab the maplink script...I don't think it's up here, so I'm gonna upload that in a sec...

hehe, thanks. Took me a bit to find it...couldn't remember where the link was...I found it, but the link thing wouldn't work, so I spent about half an hour searching my computer for the stupid file...but...yeah...just shows I'm a big Tokyo Mew Mew fan ^^

Agreed. Mapping is the most important part, and people need to learn to do it themselves...cause otherwise, it just doesn't work...

Well, being how funny it was, I'd say it could be an awesome immediate resource. It would go straight into my game without having chances of getting pushed off by others, BUT I am only offering it to you because I thought it was hilarious and will probably use it no matter what place it comes in.

Original art...I'm kinda looking for art that has like backgrounds and so forth, simply because it looks kinda dull using battlers as art...so...that's why I started up these contests (have about 5 contests running on different forums...this is the first reply to ANY of them I've had)

I have no idea...I'm trying to upload it to phanxgames...but they have a 1 hour limit...and every time I've tried so far, it's said I need 2 hours to upload it...my internet is REALLY slow tonight for some reason...Also, if I can get more people seeding it, it will go faster...but the hard part is getting ANYONE to elave the download running after it is complete... -

I post a game no one says anything, I post questions and I get no response...I'm thinking about giving up on CA and just sticking here...all I have now are CA and this place so...

There you have it! JoH - KtD has been updated with the first OFFICIAL demo. However, this demo is only downloadable for bittorrent users at current, as I have not had a chance to update the phanxgames site (which I am doing right now). So, if you wish to download it, go get bittorrent...I am working on updating phanxgames, but it says it will be 2 (or more) hours. EDIT: Erm...sorry, bittorrent is the only way to go right now...phanxgames says I have to upload the file in one hour, and my internet is too slow to upload it that fast... -

That is true, Leon. Premade maps would put a damper on creativity...but when I think of how much creativity is naturally put into RMXP games...(being that 90% of them are fan games, and the other 10% are usually either cliche games that people have done hundreds of times over, or actual original design...which i'd put at a 1% probably...) I mean...I dunno...maybe I'm wrong? Most of the games I've seen are the "My father died and now I want revenge" kind of stuff...mostly cliche stuff...I have been told many times "Oh! That sounds like a <game name> remake!" for my games...the funny thing is...I never even played <game name> so I didn't even know I was making something similar to it... Anyway, all that was probably severely of topic...all in all, I don't think having a premade game archive would be smart...I mean, I just finished my intro, and I already have...I think it's pretty close to a hundred maps...Now, I know I'm gonna re-use area like Shilan and Darminia and Karagum over again (as they are the kingdom the game occurs in), but I'm still gonna need a lot more maps...truthfully, have the fun of making a game is trying to piece together your map to your idea...I mean...I had someone make my boat for CoC...afterwards, when I couldn't get his boat style to work, I made my own boat...which made it work... (though the boat was crappy). I hope that helped some...I kinda feel like that was just a "post count +1" post...

I would use them, if I ahd a game that would go along with those...but, as KtD has no use for shrinking people down to bug size...I really wouldn't have a use for them myself...

The windows? I'm not sure what you mean...it's been too long since I used PKE...I know the original 1.00 release of RMXP had several problems with the windows being too big and such, but that was fixed either by installing the RM2k3 fonts, or buy getting 1.01 PKE...I know Enterbrain themselves fixed it, though, in the new 1.02 release...

Yeah, as it seems no one else has said anything...Cause if it works, then good. I wasn't getting any errors last time I checked, but as I just got on the computer, I haven't checked today so...
