  1. I have started over (just a few days ago), with my water the level doesn't matter so much since all I do with him is support. A level difference doesn't make to big of a deal other than to help exp skyrocket, just have to keep speed at 0 or as low as possible which isn't hard. I say this as the exp is based on the damage. Looking forward to seeing you in game Broken.
  2. Anyone is capable of bursting in fact I'd burst with anyone from here after everyone gets GS, even mini burst before GS. I'm not so much being pleveled, since they are only trying to get my wiz and con up enough to go to Korea and get my GS (He's not on as much as he let on when he told me he still played.)
  3. I did start from level 1, I just so happen to be 10 now.
  4. Here's to hoping you can join me BM. Be nice to have another person my level around to train with. A water going solo is a bit weird, would be worse if I didn't have my bow. :P If you do join hop onto Cancer 3 and whisper my character Kaite so I can friend ya.
  5. I'm aware as to what bursting is, I have played in the past and had a characters 170+ preparing to reborn, I've also mentioned I have friends who are high level willing to help me with my new character. I'd be playing my old characters if I remembered any of my information for them. I'm also playing as a water so leveling will be a bit faster than if i was playing as a fire. You also didn't mention the requirements for speed when bursting as fires need to have as low speed as possible if not 0 while waters need to be faster than everyone else. if memory serves me right then a wind can be faster than the water though mostly nobody wants to burst with wind or earth which can make it a bit harder for them to level. There's also the fact that you can multi-client so that you can create a burst team by yourself. It would be a real pain trying to get everything for manufacturing or compounding without alts since it is a very time consuming process. If more people on here joined bursting wouldn't be a problem. Until I get my 58 wis I won't bother bursting, have to make sure to get my skills for bursting and while I know I'll have all required skills before then (with the exception of my GS which I will be getting today or tomorrow thanks to the help of my 110RB friend and his 100RB and 90RB alts.)
  6. Awesome, well on a side note anyone that does join me should know I'm playing on Cancer 3 server. I always have and since I have some high level friends there things would be easier. I hope that I won't be on there without everyone.
  7. Okay folks looking to see who would be interested in joining me in Wonderland Online, a free to play 2D anime styled MMORPG by IGG. There isn't much to say about it other than it takes a classic RPG style game play and puts it into a MMO world, if you are the type of person who loves pets in MMO's then you can capture almost any NPC as a pet, yes even humans. Early on you receive a tent which truly becomes your home as after you start manufacturing you can customize it to have any look. With a compound alchemy system you can create items and equipment. If there is enough interest in this I would like to start a RM Unlimited Guild, not only to advertise the site but also to be able to hang out with my friend from here. If your interested or have other questions just ask, I'm sure there is a lot that I haven't covered here.
  8. I guess I'll be saving the Unity tutorials I have been working on for another time then. I like the interface I just find the abrupt change to be annoying, myself. I had no idea what was going on when I had longed on and was confused, it will take some getting used to.
  9. I myself was a non-RM user seeing as how all of my game development work was done in Unity. Sure the change probably makes sense, since I am likely the only one that I know of, but does it really help the site at all. Speaking of confusion, I was confused myself when I logged in to see the change after having gotten used to it being GDU. I personally say back to GDU, sure we've always been an RM community but RM to me is just a stepping stone on to bigger and better things.
  10. My interest in Pokemon died out with the 3rd gen it got repetitive and annoying I felt like it was the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and well you get the point. New generation just means recycling the same game. Unless the gameplay has a significant change this just seems like another attempt to milk an idea for all it's worth.
  11. Order of operations is very important when dealing with something like this. Brackets work in this case though it's not the best programming practice in my opinion. I'd say the total from the 4 text boxes should be stored into a local variable named something like, gradeTotal, and then use that variable to find the average, this has 2 benefits, the first being that it's easier to keep from making a simple mistake like that, the other is if you wanted to do more with the total it would much simpler to work with 1 variable than 4 values each time you wanted to make a call to the total. Just as an example if you were doing a receipt program that took a list of values then found the subtotal, the sales tax, the total calculated change. Since the total is really being used once here though it really is moot point which method is used in this case though expanding on the program would warrant the necessity of variables On a kinda off topic note, I'm surprised Basic is still being used. I guess it isn't all that unbelievable since it hasn't been that long since I last used basic, only 15 years ago.
  12. Wow this topic is so old. Original post was in 2009 so it's a good time to let this one rest in peace.
  13. I'm bored time to go sacrifice the virgin goat to the demons of niflhiem while I dance danked around a bon fire conuter clockwise 12 times so that I might be spared from the 9163 degree hell storm this weekend. Nah I'll just go wrap Christmas presents.

  14. I'm sorry I have to say that really both are at fault. Having a patient like that in a hospital she should have checked all of the facts before giving out such information and even then it's a toss up as most of the time information like that should only be given out in person. The radio hosts honestly are also at fault for doing something so immature as to prank call her to get information, just sounds desperate. I do believe that they should have lost his job over it, not for her death but for doing something so childish. I have to agree there is never a good reason to take a life, your own not being exempt from that rule. To leave that kind of stress on her family I feel that suicide was a poor choice, and making a choice like that over something so small sounds fishy to me there had to be a history of mental illness for her to do something so lightly. While I do think both are at fault I feel that the radio hosts are less at fault for her taking her own life, though as humans we do love having someone to blame and nobody really wants to blame someone who has died and nobody wants to take the blame, so if anyone should be blamed take a note from my book, "It's always the cat's fault, they don't care if they get blamed anyways."
  15. Unity 3D definitely needs to be in there, being a 3D engine that it very easy to use it is a great option. It has both a free and paid license and both of them can be used to develop games for profit. The free license has quite a bit that is very nice to have and the paid license just include a few things to make life simpler though professional quality games can be made using either one. The paid license allows for console development license's (as well as PC) to allow for development on PS3, XBox360, Wii, and even phones/tablets/handhelds. These options really make it a pretty powerful engine, I've been doing some development on it with high poly models and it runs every bit as fast as other engines I've used with low poly models, though my hardware has something to do with that. The engine also makes use of doing scripts in both Java and C#, as well as a language called 'boo' which is based on python. There is also numerous free assets on the Unity website that make things such as terrain a a breeze. One of Unity's strongest features is live editing, which allows you to tweak things in the editor while play-testing and see the tweak take place live in the game, some of these different 'edits' might not always stay after ending play-testing, but taking notes of things during testing is always a good idea and lets you see how drastic the change really is from the editor point of view. Putting gravity physics on objects then play-testing is also a nice way to find the point where an object can 'sit' on the ground so that it wouldn't fall through the ground or fall to the ground from the start. The only downfall I see from using this engine for some of the people who use RM all of the time is that scripting is required, there are no events but scripts are written and then attached to objects creating an instance of the scripts which allows you to use the same script several time as opposed to re-creating a door event 873 times in RPG Maker. On a side note VX Ace was released December 2011, it wasn't released in English until March 2012 though.
  16. My list has only one anime in it repeated 5 times: 1)Fairy Tail 2)Fairy Tail 3)Fairy Tail 4)Fairy Tail 5)Fairy Tail Though If we were talking Manga instead my list would be much different seeing as how many anime kill the story. So here is my Manga list: 1)Mahou Sensei Negima the story takes awhile to take off but is awesome after it gets going (do not watch the anime it doesn't follow the story at all) 2)Psyren I'm not sure why I got into this so much but the story really dragged me in 3)Fairy Tail Obvious reasons as to why, I got into the anime and had to read the manga 4)Bleach I didn't care for the anime as much but the manga made up for it 5) ????????? I don't really have a 5th as pretty much anything I've read could fit in this spot
  17. I love this series and can't wait till I can play Ultimate. I really want to see an English version of Frontier, since I am primarily a PC gamer and playing monster hunter on PC would be a big deal for me. Sadly Capcom has stated they will never release it to the western market because of cultural influences in the development of the game, though I honestly don't see that as being such a huge deal, though having western servers of the same game would be huge, and in truth it's about money. Who wants to have a hunting party, I'm all for a farewell hunting day for Tri since it's servers will be going down after Ultimate is released. Though from what I have heard the servers for Ultimate will be hosted by Nintendo this time.
  18. Not as many questions up this time, I'm guessing there will be a Week 3.5 later on with more questions? I was torn between the Bikini Pirates and Lexi falling in love with the princess (Yay for yuri).
  19. The problem with Enterbrain is they are professional. They are a professional company that makes money by releasing over priced sub-par engines with bad support. Look at open source free engines, the support for them is much better than any corporate release engine, while at the same time having the same capabilities and more. The sad thing is because these open source engines are free, they are looked at as badly designed which is why these corporate monkeys releasing poorly designed engines will continue to make money off of them because they charge $99.99 for it.
  20. It may be a bug that arose from Marked updating the Pusher, and then changing it so that the primary chat was on a different channel than it used to be. It has done that bug to me once before but it quickly straightened out when I refreshed my page. I had thought it was an isolated case.
  21. It's okay rg I voted for you. I laughed when I saw that Moon was beating you by one vote and that you had voted for him. By the way thanks again for the help with the logo for my game rg.
  22. It did it for me as well, though I never even noticed that button till this topic popped up. The URL that pops up for it is the same as the address for what ever page you're on.
  23. I like this new background, I do like the idea of having a choice of background though, it would be nice to be able to set that in the profile, possibly with a thumbnail of what the background would look like. @Marked If you can just give me an idea of what you'd want I can do it as 3D models and render it out at any resolution, since the render would just be a 2D image it would be easy to work with it in Photoshop or Gimp. Though I like the new background a lot better than the old one. If you'd like though I'd be happy to do a render of something to effect of the fading from wire-frame to textured 3D, just to show what I had thought would fit. Since the background doesn't actually effect how the site loads though I don't think that it's much of a priority.
