lol no it's not Chinese. We use the Persian Calendar, The first day of spring (Called Nowruz) is on March 20th and that's when the new year begins :)

dolarmak's map looks so beautiful and it's fairly detailed. I assume he's used the default tiles only. I didn't know how detailed MV tiles are (Because I don't have it) But by looking at his map, I can simply tell that it's easy to improve your map using the default tiles. You should make the town look like people are actually living in it. dolarmak has some great points and I'm not going to repeat them. :) Just make sure that you'll add more details to the town itself (excluding the houses and buildings)

oh I can see that you've put time and effort on this, Although you didn't have many tiles. The town structure is very nice, but as you mentioned, it looks like it's missing something and I think you need more tiles to improve it, It's capable of becoming more beautiful and professional. :)

Well I put all of the casual items in shops. (By casual items I mean Items which should be easily accessible for the player, In order to have balanced battles. Like reviving and healing items) Also each shop has some unique items which can't be found anywhere else. I have a combining system in my game which requires some special items to make super powerful potions. I never put the required items in normal shops. I put them in chests and some other secret places. You know most of the games are based on "rewarding the player". So you should make sure that the player gets a proper reward when they find a chest in a dangerous forest. Overlapping the casual items is fine imo. Umm are you sure you're going to sell bombs in a school shop? :P

well I like the userbar and I don't see the point of removing it. So yeah, You can simply let it be :)

Hmm I just googled the game and it seems it's 18+. Probably because it may contain everything that an 18+ game is supposed to have such as Blood and Gore, Crude Humor, Strong Language, Sexual Content, Use of Drugs, Violence etc so I think I'm going to skip this game for now :P

I don't think RPGs have too much violence for adult players, Though it's different when it's about children, Of course they should play games which have minimum violence. But I believe an RPG without combat is an Adventure game, Which is in fact a very suitable and great genre for kids. If I ever wanted to pick a game for children, I'd choose an adventure game for sure. I used to play a lot of adventure-educational games when I was a little child. Jumpstart, Humongous Entertainment and Disney had developed amazing adventure games for kids back then. (I guess I've used the word "adventure" too much lol) That genre is much more flexible than rpg genre imo, So I don't really see the point of removing combats from RPGs. By the way I think Pol's idea sounds exciting and fun for children. Anyway it still has the concept of "enemy" or "opponent" so it kinda leads to violence indirectly. Though it's not something to be worried about, That amount of violence never hurts anyone lol
