How do I get ahold of engine files? I purchased this a long time ago....

I have returned after a long time I and happy to return and I see the site did a major upgrade since then I like it alot! ^^ I hope to learn some new tricks this time I learned that what I was doing last time is not how you setup a team if I want a team of people I do not know I need to come up with a demo and funds that makes them feel they can trust me and compensate them for their talents I also learned that I need to find my strengths and weaknesses so I can better hone them as well as take a step out of my comfort zone try Unity stop sticking with RPG maker only. But there is still much more for me to learn and practice this time I will not start a project until I am ready. I am glad to be back though hello guys I missed you :grin:

1st comes 1st the very core of the game itself the Scripter/Programmer. The Scripter/Programmer will indeed be the one who decides the engine we will be working on although I feel it should be a team decision I realized this will be the most core and important part of the game the scripter/programmer must feel comfortable with what he/she is working on in order to get the best effects. Whether its RMMV,Unreal Engine,or Unity it is up to him/her to decide what he feels is best for the work he's doing. The game we are making is a beat em up Style ARPG if the scripter/programmer chooses not to use RMMV I would prefer if we 2.5D Side scrolling to be compatible with models instead of sprites so the artist/animator has an easier time working on the project. I didn't have such luck I had a rather rude experience I asked questions about downgrading cuz I disliked windows 8.1 and they got all angry and rudely said "oh great another one" and then hung up xD

Hewlett Packet I got a question, why is it when I use a 2 year old VGA monitor from you my system acts like it's slow or has a virus but when I use a 6 year old HDTV my PC acts like its brand new? Seriously HP is not good at making electronics anymore >_>

actually not true its still there just not active, even if you disable startup its still there Not saying you guys shouldn't use OneDrive its just the thing slows my PC down no matter how much I pay prob cuz of CenturyLink due to low internet speed damn ISP is the worst I ever seen..... but I used Mega it still slowed my PC down but nowhere near as bad as OneDrive

I didnt know AVG was recently caught doing malicious activity but Avast on the other hand yeah I heard some shady crap happened with them it seems like all AV when they get popular enough love to back stab their consumer base out of greed I mean look and Norton and McAfee they used to be some of the best AVs ever made and now they are of the worst ever made. I am using ESET its a slow start but it eventually gets the job done something about the firewall seems to lag for a few days I dunno why.

windows 10 is not free though windows 10 allows a free upgrade but thats still not free when you still paid for windows 7 or 8.1. Also windows also mentioned they plan on selling windows as a service we don't know what that implies but if they charge monthly for security updates after the free upgrade time period is over most people will just refuse to pay up and use an AV instead since some AV only cost like 30$-40$ a year.

Well after a clean install windows 10 runs fine I guess the Drivers from windows 7 were the cause.

The design concept of windows 10 I actually love its the glitches due to hardware compatibility even after troubleshooting before upgrading that drives me nuts. I am using a custom PC with Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 motherboard and let me tell you windows 10 doesnt have the best love for this Motherboard 50% of the damn time when I install it I run into USB ports functioning like they arent active and speed will be pretty bad until the system is used to the upgrade +_+ although I havent tried a clean install instead of an upgrade yet that might solve the bugs I have.

Who else here thinks windows 10 even though microsoft promises it isn't their last OS that it really is their last OS should windows 10 never get it's shit together before May of 2016? Personally I feel windows has lost an immense amount of consumer trust and linux is catching up with Mac and Windows really fast even if Steam OS was a disappointment I had no issues with LinuxMint or OpenSuse and they seem to keep getting better at alarming rates. Not to mention linux is also becoming more adept at emulation and reverse engineering which with the right funding and support they could really close gap on exclusives to dot net and .exe. If windows 10 does fail what exactly will microsoft have left to use windows for other then to offer exclusive development tools for Xbox?  I highly doubt Microsoft will take heed in the fact they are on a thin layer of ice they need to hasten the bug fixes and provide better security for the USER not their GIMMICKS or they will indeed fall as an OS provider and exist mainly support for Linux or Apple and you know they might end up just doing linux if the rumor is true they already plan their own distro. They will be selling their work as a service rather then an actual OS if they do take on linux and then here comes more bull shit with closed source graphics with a linux redesign of DirectX.

oh so i might just be better off with C# if MV is that hard to script since C# is similar enough it should make learning C++ later easier

I swear I started to use MV on windows 10 and will it caused a folder bug that confused my OS and got all my files glitched out and corrupted.

I now have a PC that works so I will be back to designing a game I am sorry I was gone for so long. This time I will switch to maining RMMV,Unity,and Unreal Engine the Engine I will use will be based upon my level of scripting and ofc right now I am not good at all at scripting so I am using RMMV until I can afford the classes to learn a language. Idk whether to start C++ or C# I had many opinions and they aren't exactly black and white some people say start C++ it will save you a headache later and others say start lower do C# or Java Script. Although I may consider Java Script 1st since RMMV and Unity both use it.

Have to agree with consoles even if Xbox goes play station and nintendo will not be affected

Xbox is dead, literally dead windows 10 has full xbox support for both Xbox One and 360 >< and plus windows gets Xbox Live free only to piss console fanboys more damn..... I am glad I stuck with what benefits me most and does the tasks I need then join the Xbox club PCs really are the future with it I can do even more then just game.

Personally Unreal Engine has better side scrolling support I might be better off with ARPGS on that and have my turn based on Unity,3Dmaker,and RMXP

I am talking about games like Elsword if you use a combo no one else likes its spam it pisses me off

people still too serious about combos -__- seriously guys its just a game stop attacking people for not playing your way as long as its not cheating go fuck yourself,combos are over serious I love to play games laid back and fun not all pissed off and have a OCD attack when someone spams....
