Well It would be nice to have the animation more customizable in battle,a place for assets is important too but you said on your own site you could not handle making your own communities anymore so Idk what you could do there, I also think it would be cool to have a way to give the designer a bit more control on the FPS some days it is noticeable and others not so much in lag spikes.

I got an interesting Email Unity changed their payment plans and ToS alittle to compete with Unreal I guess Pro is now cloud and only 25$, I haven't read everything but it seems Unity intends to compete with Unreal, personally I may be misreading this but game engines are starting to become cheaper. Not that I want to use Cry Engine but it seems all I have to do is sit and wait to see if Cry Engine tries to compete as well I am like I said not gonna use Cry Engine my PC is already full of enough programs installed. What are your thoughts on the changes Unity 5 brings?

Unity is both 3D and 2D if you make one for 2D can you make one for 3D as well? I personally love a mix of 2D and 3D myself

whats your speed? Mine is 50kbs now due to being broken, and Unreal Engine to me they do not seem to bad 5% rate(excluding royalties but that is not an issues for me I won't be making near enough money to hit their royalty fee zone) it's not bad for the engine I mean it is simple and powerful and really love the community behind it but then again its been a long time since I last checked the community and most communities get nasty after so long like milk set out to sour depending on what the community is. This place is really nice and so is rpgmakerwebs forums so its not like all communities get bad but elsword and minecraft got bad fast ><

Sounds interesting, I shall check but the only reason I could think they would make UE4 free is if they have not been making a profit off of selling subscriptions and are about to remove UDK and focus entirely on Pay to Release rather then Pay to Develop,or UE5 is coming and they plan to replace UDK with UE4. I am very curious about this and I wish to see for myself.

Livestream Apprenticeship (idea)

I could barely afford a 25$ book >< I am not sure what could be given in return. Predevelopment you mentioned would be cool there are plenty of tutorial that say planning is essential but all the ones I seen are rather vague on how to plan. I just have to keep searching and never give up. I thought I would ask if livestream is possible but as you mentioned what would the motivation for them be? This is feels like the biggest trial in game dev to me the coding is the least of my worries its finding a path to take. -

Kinda was hoping it would be from here there are many youtube tutorials (I am rarely on twitch) the problem is many dive in too fast or say "you are stupid you will never make something good it takes 40 people to do anything right" Much like extra credits and I think the reason they do that is they feel people will have too have expectations and then fall under their own disappointment. needless to say I am not saying extra credits is entirely wrong but I do feel that was a bit exaggerated and harsh. Yes most projects will require you to have multiple people (40 people is exaggerated) to help if you can't do every single job yourself,yes its not as easy as you think it can take years to complete. I know this is hard and I am never backing down I am making a complete game and I do not care if hell itself decides to declare war at me over it I will fight to the end it's so bad my mom mistakes my irritation with my internet connection lately for an unhealthy obsession. I want to make these games so I can express my creativity and look back and say "Hey I followed my dreams no matter how hard it was I did it I made my own series" I doubt it will ever be as famous as final fantasy or legend of zelda but I really do not care I will give it everything I got even if I am never heard by a company and never get the aid I need. I am very grateful for the help here everyone has offered me alot of help, and they seem to understand how I feel. I thank all the people here who tried to help me. -
Mobile game market survey (for research project)

Currently do no have it either and I cannot download it due to broken internet. UDK is powerful,has a nice community,and the tutorials are far less of a maze to go through. People however told me to use Unity instead saying UDK was not for me because I want RPG scripts. Honestly with all this confusion I always end up jumping from one engine to the next, I know that RPG maker cannot solve my problem because the scripts for XP that have ABS installed are just as complicated as trying to use normal engine like Unity and UDK.

Why not make a new attribute and give it the an example name fire/lighting or fire/dragon or whatever dual attribute you are trying for it's way easier then trying to stack weaknesses and resistances.

I have used UDK a tiny bit it's same thing almost but a free version until you want to release the game. Anyways yeah it would be nice to learn a few new tricks if you feel like sharing ^_^. I however feel I feel I should keep studying Unity awhile 1st.

Well each attribute you set in the database affects how weak the target is towards that element in the enemies tab (and armor I think). You can set the weakness output like that I however do not think scripts can help you make this easier. My advice is set how weak you want the enemy to be and then carefully set the damage output of the weapon/skill/etc and the attribute,then battle test it in the troops tab. // I do not know unity well and I cannot code or script//

ummmm so what is it you are after? You might not need a script to fix the issue that is why I am asking 1st.

What if we have an apprentice system where we have someone new watch and communicate with someone through livestream who knows that they are doing? Can we have something like that? It would be a great way for those of us who are having trouble understanding order of operations to planning watching an experienced engine user work would really help alot.

Well I was new to this whole system and I ended up having like 2 posts on the activity feed that would of been disruptive I didn't want there like blog and published in which I fixed of course I just wanted my friend to be able to see the content only.

I have the idea and setup ready for the game itself but game is nowhere near started or finished,I only need to know when it's safe to set status to publish because I seen WIP games published not yet released because all I have is an idea and plot to go by.
