Note: After asking Tomo2000, I have been allowed the role of what caused the zombie infection to begin. I'm going to follow the normal character profile as best as I can. Username: OverlordMao Character's Name: Oozerot "Zombie Lord" Gender: Male Age: Unknown Weapons: "My freaking Zombie army! ...and anything I can use within the mall area, I hear their having a sale in the gun department." Descriptions: "Being a zombie isn't fun, I'll admit it. Well, being a zombie without a brain isn't fun, but being the only zombie WITH a brain is the best thing. I can actually think and control an army of the 'undead' with ease. I was once a human, of course. I was used in an expirement to create the ultimate soldier that wouldn't eat, sleep, or die. Of course I became a zombie! They called me a failure and tried to kill me!? Well, I could ramble on about this, but I just don't feel like it. Still, causing a zombie apocolypse was fun." Currently, no one knows about this "being", excluding a few zombies. [i'll begin his story a little bit later, once a few more posts have been posted here. Name might change, I don't like it so much...]

This is a game I've been working on for a while. I plan to update this post when needed, but anyway, onto the game info. Philosopher's Quest [Working Title] Basic Game Info: "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange." -Alphonse Elric (Full Metal Alchemist) In this game, you will embark on an adventure unlike many others. Blake [Defult name] is your basic alchemist, synthesizing basic items, defeating weak monsters for money and some levels, and having to deal with his own rival, Aurelia. But of course, what game isn't complete without a plot? There existed a "being" who wished to bypass thefirst law of Equivalent Exchange (stated above) by synthesizing, or crafting, his own Philosopher stone. And he did it... Four bright gems, each one with the same power and a different element to its name. Although alone a stone could not craft gold or provide its owner eternal life, it did remove the first law of Equivalent Exchange. The stones were imediatly destroyed and the recepies lost. Now, another of those "beings" wishes to recreate all of life as it is tired of "not knowing all." You must now try to beat the being, referred to as "X," collecting the four "Minor Philosopher Stones," and basicly save the world. Character Bio: ~Blake~ Name: Blake [Male] Status (Class): Alchemist [blade] Mana: Gravity [No Given Name Yet] Weapon of choice: Swords and/or Blades Dreams: To atleast see a "Philosopher Stone." Bio: A possably average alchemist, Blake has been known to battle weak monsters in his spare time, if not hang around the synthesis shop or collect herbs near "Dread Cave Pass," a weaklings cave only by the entrances. He can get competitive over only a few things, and often has conflicts with a close(?) friend, Aurelia. He can control gravity to some extent thanks to his mana of Gravity (No name has been given to this mana as of yet). ~Aurelia~ Name: Aurelia [Female] Status (Class): Alchemist [staff] Mana: Life [No Given Name Yet] Weapon of choice: Maces and Staffs Dreams: To synthesis Gold. Bio: Aurelia comes from a rich family. She knowns all there is to know about roalty, ranging from how to dine, to how to great others, and even how to fold a napkin is "just the right way." However, it is shocking how much Aurelia knows how to fight. She is often see watching monsters battle each other or within a flower garden grown just outside of her "mansion." Her mana, Life, is always having to watch over Aurelia to make sure she isn't hurt. Aurelia has become the rivel of Blake, although it is unaware how the two even met. Game Features: Defult Battle System DayNight System Advance States Party System New ways to gain skills Parody-ish Side Quests Game Progress: Scripts: 100% Story: ?% Events: ~1% Enemies: ~.5% Characters: ~50% Screenshots: None Available Error Reporting: Please report any errors you may encounter with a screenshot and a detailed explaination on how you encountered the error. I am looking for a team for this project, anything is good. Just remember that I have all possable scripts, and I might be on MSN, maybe. Download: Download reuploaded. Click Here.

Just for the record, the campfire part was my starting idea for odd jobs. ^_^
-
Ok, I'll take up Ideas and Odd Jobs. I'll try my best to be on, but no real luck yet.
-
If you explain what odd jobs, I might be willing to help. (Just remeber, my scheduals tied up, even with summer vacation :o ) Scary ghost story game! Maybe it could start off with a campfire story of the haunted chastle or something like that.

Tomo2000's Mapping Contest [Entry Dates Refreshed]
OverlordMao replied to Tomo2000's topic in Archived Contests
Wait, Leon entered a map!? Well, as long as I got into the top three, thats good for me (1st place would have been nice, but I guess Leon does deserve it more then me  ) I'm not sure if I'm going to enter this last one, I'm not so great with the Space Tileset. -
Just to make it simple... Youtube Video -> From that video, I need a XP sized, VX format character graphic and a VX battle graphic of the Gravity Mana, or the thing behind Ms. Isolde (the human), in which is the boss. I would like it to keep the big staff-like arm with the orb where it would have a right arm. Thanks in advance.

Welcome back Leon!

Banns Kiriashi for calling someone a weirdo. ...banns self for not posting as often as I should

I'm just about to download Game Maker 7 from the link provided (mouse over Game Maker 7) and I need to know. Is it any good? I've wanted to try and make an action battle system ever since a game, called "Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?" and after seeing a video of someone playing a game made from Game Maker 7 Pro, I thought I might be able to make it... Any Advice or tutorial links, maybe?

I just tried the quiz, and heres what I got You've survived the entire Zombie Apocalypse!! You are the ultimate zombie killing deity. You kill them by the thousands, with strategic traps and land mines. Not to mention all of the weapons you've stored in your closet in case of a zombie invasion. The only cost is all of your friends and family. You spend so much time locked in your house you never see them. When the invasion happens you send one of your friends to get food, but you know what your really did. You used him/her to lure zombies away from the house. You smirk as you watch him/her get devoured. I really wouldn't sacrafice a friend, maybe a relative or two...

*Supports* I need to post more often...
