    Do you have the fixed version of VX? If I recall correctly there was a version of VX that had a MAJOR bug with variables. Make sure you have the latest version.

    No no no. Installers suck, and nobody like them. I understand you want it to look professional and stuff, and I used to be like that. But just no. Don't. The standard RMXP Compression exe is fine.
