  1. Yes, that's right! It is finally here! Awesome right? I thought so too. But the rewrite is finally done and I can stop going backwards in progress and go forward! So, almost everything has been redone and reimplemented into Beta 2, but there are some changes: A new Queue system has been created. It's still a bit buggy in detections and what not, but overall it'll work. Terms don't show right now, Beta 3 will have a fix for that. There are no custom themes (sorry ShinyToyGuns). Requirements/Prerequisites: When you first run Pool, you need to open the Settings Dialog, and press the Download Database button. It will download and install the database. Beta 3 will do this automatically. This program must be run as Administrator if you install it in Program Files (Vista and 7). If you just extract it to your Desktop, you shouldn't have any issues. That's about all I can think of right now. Download it here: RMXP Pool.zip
  2. I could help moderate the IRC channel if needed. I used to be an IRC Operator for several IRC servers in the past (the big guys with like server wide permissions to +q themselves whenever).
  3. I.....I watched it all...and...they didn't get the punishment they deserved. Death would suit them....but not a quick, painless death....I'm like my father in this aspect...if you kill someone, you should be killed in the same way (Don't comment about 2 wrongs don't make a right). I just....*shudder* When I'm old enough to have children, I'm going to make damned sure nothing like that ever happens to them....that's cruel beyond belief what they did to that poor child!
  4. If we were to found a "White History Month", we'd be shot for racism. It's due to history mostly...the White Race has been known to oppress the other races. Karma has come to bite us on the a** so to speak. What if certain things never happened (the Union failed to win the Civil War for example). Where would society be? I'm not really sure what to say on this subject because I'm a bit blunt (and have been called racist just for pointing out facts and statistics...go figure) about things, so maybe I better stop before I get carried away.
  5. Now it's my turn: Prostitution would catch on in certain areas of the United States (I feel it'd be more in the North Eastern areas where Prostitution is already around). However, as it has been pointed out, most Americans are Christian, which would prove a serious hindrance to any sort of legalization of Prostitution. In the long run, no, it shouldn't be. The problems outweigh any sort of benefits that can be gained (money for the Government comes to mind). This topic skewered into issues about Separation of Church and State. I can refer to the Roman Empire in this case. It's Government didn't separate them, and back then, Religion ruled over everything. Now, it makes more sense for a system to be free of tying morals (such as a Religion of any denomination) to act freely and independent. Prejudice due to Religious restraints will cause chaos. Enough on that subject. The difference between what's right and what's smart is how it affects yourself and others. If doing what's right will end up killing everything, while doing what's smart will save hundreds, if not thousands of people, would you choose the smart thing? Personal attack not required Chief. Your view has been noted and was not required/needed for the continuation of this topic. :nono4: Finally, back on topic. It comes down to the individual morals of the person/persons affected. The Government will probably not pass such a thing as it would be viewed as....probably demoralizing even to the Congress. Our country does have some morals (even with separation of Church and State), and prostitution crosses a line at some point. I suggest that some replies be pruned else this thread could divulge into a pointless flame war because of various religions that may/may not be present here.
  6. First up, huge Thank You to Marked. I was at a dry point in programming Pool when he gave me some motivation to get my spirits up and going. Thanks again man. Next, I've finally figured out how to do the GUI for the Basic Theme, and funnily enough, it shrank! I originally had to do a separate form for each different type of item that Pool could download, which was a HUGE waste of resources. Now, one there is one form for browsing items. It's looking great. It almost completely works, just missing the Queue system integration which will be easy as anything. Look for a Pool release in the next couple of days!
  7. So basically this application will allow you to plan out your RPG completely from start to finish without actually even touching RPG Maker. Clever, and very nice.
  8. Good job! Quite a simple application (Reflector does wonders on checking programs), but it's your first step into an entirely different world than what you're used to. I might be able to share Pool's source with you to see if you'll eventually get it too :alright:
  9. uhh...LCDR? Oh, Lieutenant Commander..nice job :alright:
  10. I wouldn't really nominate anyone cause I'm not active enough myself to pay attention..I'm usually off in my corner working on Pool and other projects of mine..
  11. Looks nice. Only time will tell what exactly happens and what the consequences/rewards are from it.
  12. No need to begin flaming over an opinion. The site looks good, and the blue is a nice, easy tone on the eyes.
  13. Obviously Lucifer is the Leader, but he hasn't been chosen yet...so we can't start the RP.
  14. The story: Humanity is caught in the middle of a vicious war as the Fallen Angels, which have been living in Hell, have decided to bring about the Apocalypse. However, God sends down his Angels to destroy the Fallen Angels. Humanity is powerless to do anything and is caught in the middle of their destructive powers in an attempt to wipe each other out. Resources: Angel Names, Fallen Angel Names Angel List: formlesstree4 - Gabriel (Why am I Gabriel, commander of Angels? Cause I sat around thinking up this RP, that's why!) Fallen Angel List: Tomo200 - Wormwood I would start, but this is the opportunity for someone to hop in as a Fallen Angel and start the RP, so I'll just wait. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15. Wait, do I count as a staff? -checks page- Guess I do... :dragoninsane:
  16. Well you gotta get me all the images first!
  17. Yesterday, I told you I was fussing over the program's Queue System. Well, I finally got my act together and hammered out the rest of it. :king: The new queue system! Woo! Eventually, it'll get more advanced, but right now it works perfectly. Just the way I like it and so will you. It can be manipulated, stuff added & removed dynamically with a clean interface! Downloading has never been easier. The forms will have an Add To Queue button where the file will be added to the Queue which you can start or stop at any time. By default, when an item is added to the Queue, the process starts. This is adjustable in the settings obviously, and it won't tie up your browsing either of files! It took me a solid month of messing around to get this right, but if I was thinking better and smarter, I could have had this hammered out in less than 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I have to redo a default GUI because the old one had 60 some odd errors and I didn't want to fix them all (Option Strict On is a *****!!!). Keep watching for more of my rants!
  18. There will be a method at a later date that will allow you to submit your own resources. The current methodology used to update the database doesn't allow you to actually insert your own at this time, but last I heard cabbage was working on a method to allow us to receive new resources to incorporate. EDIT: I added you on MSN, you should get on and we can talk more if you want.
  19. Before I knew it, February has come and is nearly gone. Yet here I sit, staring at RMXP Pool v2 thinking "What the ****..." RMXP Pool has come quite a ways in terms of how advanced it is. Unfortunately, with that advancement comes how messy and complex the source code can get. :62: The Queue system isn't the problem anymore, it's the GUI actually...the fact that I need to get handlers to adjust and change is the problem, and it's not <_< Well, enough about my rantings...I'll go back into my little dark corner and see if I can't hammer out the difficulties I'm having with this program.
  20. This link should work Crimson. Sorry about the confusion. I'm still working on Pool, so don't worry!
  21. I think this is what he said: You create graphics, say not to use them. Someone steals them and uses them, and you didn't copyright them. You go to court about it, chances are you will lose about it because you might made it, but it was never legally registered to you. Of course this varies based on local state and country copyright laws.
  22. I must watch this..I loved MM sooo much.
