Thank you. To each their own. Well it was made on my third try. The one below it was 2nd try and of course the last one was my 1st try. It's not a Video Store, but a Game Developer and Publisher. Working with Unreal Technology right now for our signature game.

Why would any one want to: 1) Make a Willy Wonka remake 2) turn Alice in Wonder land into a movie 3) make the Hobbit into a movie as well (and no not an animated one) 4) why make a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street 5) why make a remake of Mortal Kombat movie... simply put? a) New special effects and people with better ideas!

RMXPU Community, I have been a fan of the MK franchise since my days playing it on the SNES. I even at one time owned the movies (which where not that great). Writing has every thing to do with making games RPG or not. ALL games have a story behind them (good or bad). Even Tetris had a story to go with the game play and what would Mario and Lugi do if it was not for the story behind the point of saving the princes? Game developers, game programmers, and game writers are ALL needed to make a game regardless of what that game is: puzzle, platform, maze, RPG, MMO, etc. Its just that in some cases the story plays very little (i.e Tetris) so most people don't know that it may have a story behind it. Arkanoid (Nintendo) also had a story, but was a simple puzzle game. Now more modern 3rd party games like Tetris; copy cats have no story and the makers just went with game play. And Mega Man may be a side scroller platform, but it surly had stories to back up every game. Also try reading GAME CREDITS you will note people labeled as WRITERS or STORY BOARD DIRECTORS!!!

Well nothing really. I was playing a Facebook CCG application game when I thought why don't I make my own. I then concluded that it would be simple like Yu-Gi-Oh but different. The theme of the game I got the idea from Rouge Galaxy (PS2 game by Level 5). The theme of the game is a Fantasy Fiction. You will not have LP or HP (life points/hit points), but instead what is known as LEADERS (max 3 in a deck and no 2 can be the same). Kill/defeat the leader to win. Your LEADER will control SOLDIERS (max 6 at any given time) which will be humanoid, animal, machine, undead, etc. The game will incorporate SYSTEM cards and TERRAIN cards which act like the FIELD cards in Yu-Gi-Oh. This is a Fantasy Space CCG so the boost from a SYSTEM or TERRAIN card would work like: * Also I now have a designer who will design the cards and images needed for them as well as a Publisher of card games so that 85% just went up to 95%!

I LOL at a few areas.

I never got the chaining system, but overal Yu-Gi-Oh is simple and easy to learn. Most other CCG have so many other things going on or need to happen makes them far more complex.

I believe the Bible is a work of fiction. It is the oldest book in the world (regardless of religion as most have similarities) and just like I tell one person something when it gets to person 100 it will not be the same. Then one must ask what is god? Or should I say gods as the bible (old and new testament) refers to two sections about GODS and not GOD. In truth if god existed he would be an alien life form no doubt created during the big BANG or so some believe.

@ RR Well it wont use RMXP or any Enterbrain product or Yo Yo Games. I am leading toward Torque Game Builder. And a CCG or TCG (which ever you wish to call them) is not hard to take online; just a matter of servers. But before the Online Game is made the physical game will be made (a real CCG). I already have spoken to a company that would publish the card game and help sell it. It all comes down to what I come up with. @Ark Can you explain answer 2 more...I'm slightly lost. I only play yugioh video games. Side Note I was also leading toward something simply like the game play in Yu-Gi-Oh, but more added to it to make it original and not so complex like Magic or A Game of Thrones. I have come up with the basic as far as: ATK (attack) | DEF (defend) | AGT (agility) | ??? (unknown post ideas) So this would work like: Or something like this. I need a fourth thing to add to the game. I was going to have it be STAMINA and this would work like It is an idea any comments would be nice and/or ideas.
