I liked GDU, but I feel that with RMU, we can focus efforts and produce a more stable community than with a huge variety if game platforms which we didn't have much experience in.

I remember many changes in this site rather fondly. Has been a nice place for years ^_^

I think, as it is, we have a functioning site. So now our focus should be maintaining it as it is. We can do any changes at a later date :) I will help out as I can, Mark. :grin:

I've always noticed that Jan-Feb is our low points of the year. I think with a bit more work (admittedly from myself as well), we can make this site work again. Just have a little faith :) If not anything else, we still have a lot of close members whom would help you :D

I like this idea. The keeping of our old way, but with a more apt name such as this which doesn't limit ourselves to any maker in particular allows us to focus on one type specifically, but also offer help to others if we can as well. If that made sense...

Hmm... have you thought about how you're going to include Yamato culture, as that is pre-Edo - it's pretty much (apart from the Joumon culture from before it which was more basic) the oldest in Japanese cultures.

What kind of setting would it be in, Modern, Meiji, Edo?

I think it'd be better to hide lesser used forums until they're needed instead of merging them, or putting them into a section that is a hidden category (where you have to click a dropdown to show it) so it is not as cluttered.
