At the end of the event turn on a Local Swich A then make a blank page(page 2) and set the Local Switch A on the conditions. The result would be. Once the event is done it will turn on a switch then when that switch is turned on it will switch to page 2 because thats a requirement for page 2. Dont use Erase event. It only does it till you leave the map EDIT: didnt see that rage already got it.

Ok i must be doing something wrong. Im following the getting started guide and i cant get past "gem install gosu" i type it in ruby and ruby just sits there and does nothing. Its acting like a notepad.

I love ruby. I use ruby over all other code because ruby feels more natural and i been using it for years.

Did the same thing as i did last year. Enjoy my vacation by gaming hardcore before i go back to school. I usually dont write a story when making a game. I find it easier to come up with a general idea for a story then work off of that idea and make stuff up as you go. Keeping the same idea. Its like coming up with the end first then working up to the end. So i really dont get writers block.

Tried IndustrialCraft many times. Didnt care for it to much because its so confusing. Spent hours trying to figure it out even with the manual.

Is there a way i can check the current date the computer has and do something if the date is a certian date? EX: I want an event to appear on Holidays depending what holiday it is. Im also going to have quests that happen on certian days. I only need it to check Day, Month, and Time(time is optional). Thanks in advance :)

As far as i know theres none. Just checked sround and couldnt find any. You might be able to use Character Maker XP and edit the sprites a little to make kids. http://www.rmxpunlimited.net/forums/files/file/121-character-maker-xp/

Hey RageMage. Glad you could join us I know a little RGSS so i may be able to answer a few quesions. I mainly deal in windows and menus. Cant wait to see your game . If you need help with anything just ask.

I would make a switch that is always on and use that to activate the common event. The problem your having is 2 things. 1 your using show battle animation, 2 your having the event call the common event that will only make it shine when they activate the event. Keep the common event that makes it shine and just make it already activated by an always on switch. Remove the call event on the weapon event. That should fix your porblem. EDIT: Use dragons way with the events on the map using parallel process instead. Its way better than my way lol.

I mainly use. To Many Items: Easier to use than the standard creative mode. You can also switch from survival to creative mode along with turning off/on rain and day/night. Singleplayer Commands: Only like it because of world edit. Dynamic Height: You can set your worlds height to 32, 64, 128, 512, 1024, and 2048. I love playing on 512. Mo' Creatures: More creatures . Favorite would be breading horses and flying them around. Reis Minimap: Better than Zains Minimp in every way. Mainly use it to find chuncks and slime chuncks for better Mob Towers. Very useful for marking places on the minimap. Millénaire: Very fun to have when you have Mo' Creatuers. Also fun to have it with Aether and have an Aether village. Im also to lazy to build my own house sometimes so i just buy one . Aether: Very fun and dangerous place. Its like a whole new minecraft. I love making minecart tracks/stations here. EDIT: Cant forget about MC Patcher: Cant go wrong with HD 256x256 texture packs.
