I must admit the the newest version, v5, has its share of glitches. There have been a lot like the "Die Glitch", the "Box in Fence" glitch and a lot of others. I'd like to say that an improved version of v5 will be uploaded in a few hours that have gotten rid of these glitches and maximize gameplay. I'd like to thank Kiriashi for improving the maps of the new version and everyone who has downloaded and commented this topic. Also, we have had over 1000 views :D . Hope Afloat v5, the improved version, features everything v5 has. Hope Afloat v5 includes 2 new locations, Military Base 2 and Amiira, a new weapon, another continent, a new zombie type and a lot more. Hope Afloat v5 takes you into the heart of its storyline; Samantha. Samantha, also called Sam in the game, is the only survivor of Amiira; even after the military attempted to retake the city... It resulted in failure. After you rescue her, Sam will give you tips on what to expect upon entering a new location.

I had an awesome idea for a forest board :D . I'll try making it right away. Also, with the "Buying and Building Chess Pieces", I think I might be able to do that with eventing. Also, for the forest one, are you going to have new enemy pieces that relate to the forest? That would be awesome.

Yay! CJBoy is making a game! I'll be an eventer if you need one with a lot of experience. If we need to show you a system we made or something along those lines I can give you a link to one. Also, maybe when Kiriashi comes back he can spiffy up some of your maps like he did to mine in Hope Afloat.

I sighed and carried my axe in one hand behind me. "This town, in a way, was always dead to me. Not with the bodies littering the streets but just the flawed way it was built. It is a town quite a fair distance away from the shore but yet its main import and export is fish. How long would it take to get to the shore, even by carriage, get a heap of fish and come back? A day? This town would have been dead and starved anyway before the Dilema came along. I turned around to see the black ooze. What ever was making it had healed and didn't leave a continious trail. "Your a dragon, or at least part dragon, right? Shouldn't you live for 300 years or something?" I asked.

Pol, I've been trying to add the Help System but, currently, I havn't been able to make it accept the button 1. Also, have you been able to view the Story/Page System thingo?

Too easy. And I have finally finished the Book System. It required some scripting and will take a while to get a hang of so maybe, whenever you add a new page, you tell me and I'll fix up the system. It is very complex; features 2 scripts (originally used in Hope Afloat; not my own, however. Can't remember who made it) and will require a new script for each page. Also, it requires a new folder. Anyhow, I'll PM you the link right away. Enjoy. If you need my to add anything just say so. I'll get to work on the help file ASAP.

Ah. Very clever design. I'd love to make one for the swamp :D . The swamp is my favourite tileset. And yes, ShinyToyGuns, I took the thief, got rid of his legs, recoloured him a very dark shade of black, and added the red inscriptions and the hole in his back all on paint. Edit: Damn, theres already a swamp one. Also, I had an idea. For each staff member they each get there own level. Edit 2: Found a heap more grammar glitches. Here are some: ^ You should probally add a comma here. ^ P.S. should be in capitals. ^ It should be "it's" instead of "its". You need to comma between the t and s. ^ Instead of "off of", just use "on" instead. Sounds a bit better, too. ^ What is says here makes it sound like only Zadune Staff Members can get into this area. Maybe, instead, it should say "The following Characters represent Zadune Staff Members". ^ Get rid of 1 l for Crystal. Thats all for now :D . Oh, yeah, I should be able to have a working version of the Help System soon. Just tell me what it should say. It will include controls, the HUD, and some other stuff.

Here it is: I'm working on the system. Last thing I need to do is fix a few things in the graphics department and I should be finished :D . Quite simple, actually.

Hmm... I made the same kind of event for one of my old games. It is a little hard. I'll need some better graphics for it, however. I'll see what I can do them PM you a link to the demo. Also, I'm editting my character a bit so that he looks more evil and sinister :D .

Woah. My map looks awesome :D . Also, I think the Rook VS Rook glitch is fixed because the enemy Rook went for my Bishop. Anyway, I think you should have a record for how quickly people kill the enemy King. What do you think? Currently I've defeated the enemy King in 6 moves :D . Also, I had an idea for the ability of the Rook. It's called "Charge". It has to be used before attacking (if you know how to do that; I don't), and its range is 3 squares from its location. And, basically, it kills anything :D . What do you think?

I found it really fun. You might want to put an anti-lag script into it because it becomes really laggy towards the middle of the game. I saw this game ago but didn't think it was good after I saw the title page and left the topic. I like the storyline and everything but the title screen is a big no-no. If your title screen is bad than people will think its bad. So I decided to make a title screen for you using a program of mine, and here it is; Enjoy.
