  1. Rgansta you don't need to know how to sprite, all we need is sprites If you can photoedit/photomanipulate thats good. All thats necessary to break the sprites into its parts say we want the armor of fighter 1 using photo shop or any other good photo editing software just erase everything but his armor with a transparent background
  2. Ez Make an auto run event on the map and put change map setting and change the battle back then erase event. Put this is in every map where you want the battle background to change.

Its easy to event, but easier to script, unfortunately I don't have alot of scripting experince a crude way of doing it would be to have an event and 2 or three variables Dubleax AMS script which should be a script on the home page. basically If its a spike set the event to player touch and change the image grpahic to a spike then put control variables Variable:Initial hp set to any {player in the party} hp preferably your character who would touch the spike then put change hp decrease and put in the value of damage the party should take then put control variables again but this time put Variable End Hp set to {the same player in the party} hp then put control variables vArialble intial hp then click the check near subtract and subtract variable end hp.... whats left will be your damage. from here you can make another control variables set Variable Damage to Variable intial Hp just to make sure that intial hp vaiable isn't in the wrong place. At the near the end of the event put the Text command: \p[0] \V[Number ID of the Damage Varaible] damage \|\~ This will display the damage for a second and then auto close it BUT YOu need the AMS script to do this.

However, they lack two important thing and that is resources and people. Heres the reasons why I think this would be the most suitable place to have a RMXP Generators alot of site trafic from RMXP developers we have alot more resources more manpower: everyone in the forum can help with this one Jobs Coders:People who know html or php or flash who will be able to develop the back bone of this generator, it would be similar to the Gaia generator on tektek.org Donators:Can be anyone, all they have to do is donate sprites that they have found or created Rippers/Spriters:People who take donated sprites and break them into parts: Clothes, Hair, Eyes, Etc. Recommended: They have photo editing software and know how to use it. They also save the the resources of the donators into png format with a transparent background. How it would work: Since RMXP charasets are divided into 16 parts in RMXP, then the generator would have to do the same thing. Also for this to work the generator would have to be able to layer images on top. Extra features that could be added later would change the transparency and hue of each layer. The generator would focus on rtp like sprites at the beginning because these are the most commonly used. Once we get that off the ground then the option for other types such as hk or Breeze will be available The user starts off with a base body, we need nude templates for this,(Human body Male and female with three ages: Child, Adult, Elderly and maybe 1-3 different skin shades. The eyes won't be in the body template. This would be the lowest layer. Note poses can't be accepted because they are unique to the character design and overlap wouldn't work correctly. The next option is eyes. All we have to do is supply different color eyes. Preferably the same size they eyes will have to be at different heights for each template. and it should only show the corresponding sets for each body type. You cant put child eyes on the adult body, because it will not be on the face area. For the child and Elderly body type we can rip the eyes of rtp sets and recolor them. This would be the second layer The Hair would be the next option. Before we have a hue option for this layer, or different colors of the same hair, we should have the hair ripped from sprites. For the child and Elderly body type we can rip the hair of rtp sets. Same as the eyes, your options will be different depending on the body type. This would be the 4th layer. Make sure the area where the head should be is empty or the hair will cover the head, unless that is the desired effect. The next option would be clothes. At the beginning the clothes option will contain shoes and gloves and the body. Later the shoes and gloves can be seperate from the body and you can even mix and match tops and bottoms of clothes or have a two layers for clothes so you can wear one on top of the other. Same as the eyes, your options will be different depending on the body type. This would be the 3rd layer so that the hair will be above it, hence someone with long hair will have hair over their shoulders. this layer can be switched with the 4th layer so that the hair is below the clothes, but this will be third layer by default. The last option will be the item/accesory option. This can include hats, weapon, shields, special effects(like a super saiyan aura), other addons This would have multple layers and be the top most layer by default. Effects like aura can simply made by adding the transparancy option or changing the order of the layers Processing: Basically it works like this It takes the image size of the largest layer, normally all pictures should be around the same size Edit:128 by 192 is the default rtp charaset size. So all that needs to be done is to merge the layers into one image and display it as a png. From there the user can copy the displayed image or choose the save option to save it to there computer. If nessecary there is the expand option which will be added later. say you have an effect like an aura. Thats very large. It divide each image on each layer into 16 parts and then center each part to the largest part of the whole image. also there would be a donate option which allows users to donate their own sprites. I myself cant code so I need someone to help develop it and then we can put the web app on this site. I've created a repository to store all the image files in one place seperate from rmxp for temporary use. He also sees it as his responsiblity to take care of his twin sister, and therefore is over protective of her. Despite this he is very trusting and is very sociable. While not as intelligent than his sister, he has a better eye for detail and in very extreme situations he becomes a master strategist. He also is a good marksman having practiced with paintball guns alot. He also balances his sisters attributes very well. (accesory character comes with Milo, Isn't seen very much) Character's Name: Mya Gender: Female Age: 17 Weapons: Kitchen Knives *2, 1 metal pipe Descriptions: The twin sister of Milo, she is almost a complete opposite of her brother. She isn't as true to her word or as naive as her brother, and is always focused on her objectives. She finds her brother's over protection very annoying. While she is very sarcastic and very skeptical of others, she usually is the first one to crack a joke. Her average IQ is 232 but she also knows her limits and oftens forgets many details when lost in thought. She hates violence,but when she is scared she becomes extremely aggressive, very dangerous and distrustful of all those around her. *Start* Where am I? was the first thing that popped into my head. I remebered flying in a plane with my sisterand allof sudden hings went horribly wrong.... I looked over to th right to see an army surplus box. "Hey Mya, where do you think we are?"   22. No problem, just know that since it is counted by the game as one tileset, you will be limited in the amoount of auto tiles you are able to use
  23. The hardest thing abput any abs is the custom graphics u have to use, I would recommend The XAS tools system, its the most expansive abs. WHile blizz focuses on battle, XAS focus on game play, its basically a Kingdom Hearts/Zelda game engine. The hardest part is that you have to configure every weapon and item and skill and enemy, which can be overwhelming if you aren't use to editing a lot of code, you also just like an abs need graphics, google it,
