  3. So I guess I'm back but I probably won't be very active till thanksgiving and winter break. The University of Chicago runs on a Quarter system so I'm always busy. So, anyone who is still waiting on a project review. I will be working on them on the plane ride home. Furthermore, I'm going to attempt to write 50,000 words in the next week for NaNoWriMo (google it) because I am a huge procrastinator. Lastly, I'm going to become the forum manager for the Game Design RSO (Registered Student Organization)+ Gamers RSO merge aptly named Luigi, so that will be taking up alot of my time but I'll be active here as well for you guys

What the fact that the forum is to lazy to post in non-RM threads or the change in appeal.

  5. Alright, I'll review this one. Note: I review games based on order and once I complete those I will review games that haven't been submitted but are intresting. If you are not in the queue when I start reviewing those games, then your game will take a much longer time to review. Also, if it seems like I'm not very active, that is because I am partcipating in a competition called NaNoWriMo where I have to write 50,000 words in the month of november, so I'm probably busy.

  7. http://xasabs.wordpress.com/ Hey everyone, Today marks what I hope will be a big change to the site that’ll make life easier for XAS users and developers alike. the problem Throughout the RPG Maker XP community people struggle to find the resources they need, searching endlessly for … compatible scripts that will help further the development of their game demos that will show them how to achieve certain results tutorials that will teach them how to use different systems the solution The aggregation of XAS scripts, demos and tutorials in one place. My hope is to create an almost app store ‘esque’ experience; making it a simpler and more enjoyable task for you to find content. what I require The support of script developers and demo contributors alike. As well as the support and the demand for such a thing by you and other XAS users. how do you submit your script or demo? Submitting to the site has never been easier, simply click on Submit in the menu bar and complete the form. what do you get in return? An entire page on XAS Tutorials made free for you to outline your script or demo and it’s functions as well as instant feedback from XAS users (using comments and/or the star rating system) and optional email alerts to any error feedback. mock up: This is what a typical row of scripts would look like, feel free to click on each of the scripts to be taken to their individual pages: Perks by Mr_Wiggles Icon Pop Up by G@MeF@Ce Zelda File Display by Albertfish Avoid Guards by Mr_Wiggles comment below with your thoughts and suggestions

  12. Many of you have either had Itunes or another Media Player Personally, Since I don't have the time to convert my videos into MP4s I use Itunes as my dedicated Music library because its a lot cleaner than most. However, Itunes music organization tools start to fail once you past around 250 songs, Most people have a lot more than that. So while I was organizing stuff on my computer getting ready for college, I decided to completely reorganize my Itunes library by taking advantage of a previously underused feature. You see, I was mad that I couldn't have more than 5 stars because I felt that 0 - 5 was not enough to split my songs. Furthermore, rather than having a crap load of playlist I decided to use the Group feature. When you right click a song and click get info you can tag the song by putting it in a specific group. Furthermore you can, in Song List mode, make one of the column show the group a song is in and organize the song list by groups. Therefore, if a song is good enough for me to listen to it repeatedly without stop, then it gets 6 stars, furthermore if it is part of a special group such as Sonic which are sonic songs, Bourne which are songs from the Bourne Movies, or Anime which are songs from Anime it will follow the 6 star rating. If a song is stands out in its group then its the Group name with a star behind it which means its almost there what this will do is make it so that all 6 starred songs show up first followed by the groups Furthermore, all other songs are grouped with a y for default and a z if I dislike the song. Why would I dislike the song you ask? Well my Library consists of many OSTs which when imported gives you all the songs. So I don't have time to delete them.

Why is any game worth an iota of anyone's time?

There's a certain appeal to an online digging game. You can step back and say "Whoa, I made that!" then explore and do battle in the 3d world you created...So is it worth your time? I dunno, do you like online digging games?

  16. I'm sure there is a way, but you would have better luck consulting an actual scripter like kellessdee As for your previous issue If the player is hosting, the MMOscript might already automatically make all players have the same variables and switches
  17. For the first issue If you can find comprehensive installer software it can set the database for you when it installs the game furthermore to deal with the registration issue, if you can set it up to install a predefined database and then have the accounts player 1 player 2 and player 3 the player just needs to enter one of those user names in What you will need is a script that sets the clients variables and events equal to the hosts you can set a common event that teleports new players to the map ID and coordinates of the main player map ID and coordinates can easily be saved in variables
  18. Steins Gate particularly all of it, However its one of those Animes that promote you to think, won't appeal to you if you don't like that kind of stuff
  19. Facebook, only to keep in touch with friends infrequently once or twice a month. Only more if regarding business. No twitter, discontinued with Myspace. Will consider Google Plus when I see more people migrate to it. I don't do the whole messenger thing.
