Also. I'm a very excellent mapper. But I don't have any examples of my work as I haven't used RPG Maker * in several years.

Also if I may recommend Skype. Its very important to have vocal contact with the whole team you're making.

Well, try your best to give me a map, and I'll add you.

Skype would be a good idea, but with some people (like me) being paranoid about stuff, it might put people off. We could just use the chat-room here and go into private chat or something. Or any chat room to be precise.

Not many people use Skype. Well, not many people here, anyways. That poses problems. Instant messaging isn't bad, we all just need the same messenger system and all to have each others e-mails.

Or any chat room to be precise.

LOL. That's an oxymoron.

Ha! I get it. Being precise and any chat room are opposites. (Just learned what oxymoron meant.)

I'll delete the post there and copy-paste it's contents here.

EDIT: Here it is.

I'm game for being a dialogue writer. I could also whip up a few resources if you'd like. I'll put up some of my work in the gallery.

Whether you believe me or not. Vocal contact is the key to any team. Writing and Typing are the slowest forms of communication. Vocal is the fastest method of communication that humans are capable of doing. If someone is so paranoid about their voice then I really don't think they should be on a game development team. Also skype is free and takes 4 minutes to install.

Oh wow, this looks pretty neat! Even though I only registered here about a week ago, I'd love to help out as an eventer, perhaps a dialoge developer / storyboard editor too if needed.

If I need to convince you of my decent ability at RMXP / dialoge writing first, I could upload a very small prototype game I made as an assignment for my game design classes.

clone1018: I'll put it up to vote...

Coylise Myro: You dont have to upload an example for a dialogue developer. Just events, scripts, and maps need examples. And, well, most everything else. Although most people I already know are good at those.

Hmm, I didn't expect writing believable dialog was considered so easy as to not need any proof of ability. Then again, I am kind of a perfectionist...

Either way, the game I mentioned is here: Link

It has some eventing stuff, most notably for battle / skills

Aside from that, maybe crimson inferno might testify to my eventing as I solved her limit break attack problems :biggrin_002:

What I meant is that dialogue is hard to prove you are good at only because it is more of something in the moment than anything else.

well, all I specialise in is custom graphics (not pixel art) and idea generation, for example areas, events, characters, stroy and key aspects/ features that make a game unique, fun and interesting

also I know what music suits well to a game

Can you do a title screen and gameover?

Also, you make it sound like its no big deal for idea generation. It is a big ting that many games stop in the moiddle of creation because if a mental block. So you being able to give ideas is very good. :alright:
