    Just browsing innocently on google when a torrent with all RPG Maker Web's resource packs comes up. Didn't realize all that would be so easy to pirate.

    Yeah i dunno bout the design but that's easy to fix of course. I always view web things as potential. This version seems way less chaotic than this one. Also... jquery! Phew! This version uses the prototype framework and then i load jquery for all my custom stuff so its lots of resources. The CSS is also cleaned up a lot and theyve used some more modern web techniques. Apart from the out of the box design, looking good so far.

    That's why I mentioned forums, because comments are like using the wrong tool for the job. As time goes on, you don't want older comments to remain there. A forum seems to me to be a much better fit to achieve what you want.

    So its a normal page on the front-end, but only visible to team members and testers? At the moment, any member you add to your team can access the dashboard of your game page. But I imagine that wouldn't be ideal for developers who just want some members to help them out with testing. There's still the problem with communication. You could have a page you merely update over and over. Perhaps something like a private forum between team members would be ideal. What about this; each game page gets a forum that can only be accessed by their own team-members. But the number of forums is fixed: there's only News & Announcements, Testers, etc. Just essential forums, because the point is not to create a community, the point is facilitate development of the game.

    Wow that's odd. I'm pretty sure I've just messed up the redirect part. Your comment was edited ok, right? The edit system is very simple. Just a form that carries over variables and allows you to update the post. Eg when you hit edit, you're actually submitting a form with a field containing the current URL, and this variable is used to redirect you back. Looking at your browser URL, which should never be accessed like that, should be just fixing this variable. But I don't have time right now, but I'll remember.

    Welcome to GDU. You should try out Ace before you decide on XP. You don't have to move through the engines chronologically. XP is a decade old and heading down the road of archaic.

      lol, learning all about this kind of stuff at school at the moment, why is the world dagm crazy. Killing a journalist is wrong (he didn't put a gun to your face and threaten you?) also killing many others and attempting to control others though the use of "force" is also just as wrong.
