Oh ... Yeah, I didn't care for that place though. Is this one better??
-
Neat, I'll look into it.

In all honesty, resources shouldn't be found ... they should be made.

What's HBGames??
-
I kind of agree with Kiriashi, but you could give it a good run.

Unfortunately no ...

Judgment Day?? or Sumbit or Perish??

I have no clue to be honest. I pulled it from animerender.com.

That sounds reasonable ... I hope this project gets off the ground. I KNOW DBZ can be made into something special with this engine.

Here are some of my signatures and avatars ...

I don't know ... I think by using photoshop FX, you may have ruined it's potential. These windowskins are Pixel Art really, and by using a high profile photo editor to add these unnecessary enhancements; I think you may have worsened the final outcome. Good windowskin nonetheless, but I think it would be better off if you removed the highlights and what not.

I would like to sign up for this project if it is still going ...

How to calculate the Battle Formula
Derek replied to nsigman197's topic in Archived RPG Maker XP Tutorials
Actually, I would have to say that you've done the best job explaining this that I've seen to date. -

Honestly, I would veer away from an ABS if I were creating this project. I absolutely HATED the DBZ games for Gameboy(Legacy of Goku) that featured an ABS. However, "Dragonball Z: Legendary Super Warriors" was perhaps my favorite DBZ game of all time. It featured a turned based card battling system, with kick ass spritesets.

I am thinking about designing some new battlers. I threw this guy together from scratch early yesterday morning. I was wondering what you guys thought of him??

Very nice, are you still offering the services Polraudio??
-
Lmao, he's from Full Metal Alchemist, and thank you I will.

Wait a minute, so this is like ... you can provide one on one help with people by viewing exactly what they're doing when they do it??

Umm ... hell yeah it's feasible. I would say that it may call for a unique battle system, but I would say yes. A side-view battle system would work very well with DBZ I think. I, myself, even pondered about creating DBZ resources, but I had other projects occupying my time.

Oh wow!! I have been a member of a few other forums in my day, but the hospitality here is amazing!! To answer a few of your questions ... I have been using RMXP for roughly two years on and off. I even did my senior project for graduating high school on the power that the engine gives the creator. I had been creating a solo project for nearly all of those two years, but eventually gave up in the end. I was constantly finding myself struggling to stay motivated. I had created some original resources for my project. Those resources included (Charasets, Windowskins, and even Tilesets). My game had been highly anticipated by various members at the forum where I spent most of my time (Chaos Project). I've come to notice though, that without a team it is very difficult to create everything that is needed. My main skill is pixel art. I excel at spriting, but I'm also very good at creating event systems. I tried numerous times to obtain a quality understanding of the RGSS feature, but I could never quite grasp it. I won't blame my lack of interest on my inability to script, but I have only ever dreamed of creating a game with a side-view battle system, but I haven't found one to date that I liked, expect for Ccoa's, which has been lost to time.

Hello everyone, It's nice to be a member. I don't do too much with RMXP lately, but I've been slowly falling back into it's aura. =D.
