Here's 2 Battle Screens and a Menu Screen for my current project, Eternal Dungeon. Which is a continuation of my Infinite Journey Build 0.5 release from last year...
-
I keep drooling over the screenshots... It's a very pretty looking maker, this one...

Just thought I'd mention... I started an actual planning process for my newest project. So far, mostly everything is written free-hand. I have about 4 or so pages front and back...All of it very detailed... And, I'm really glad I decided to finally sit down and actually plan out some ideas. It's worked very well for me, so far.

This video just got iChatted to half my office. ;)

What Are You Currently Listening To? Pretty simple. Post Song, Artist, Link if your heart desires. See this on every Forum...But for some reason, there's not one posted here at RMXP Unlim. So, here we go... White Zombie - Real Solution #9

Well, good! I can't wait to see it in action. Is it several images linked together or something to make it seem like it's rotating... Or is there an actual video embedded?
-
Apparently...I can vote in the Poll on the front page as often as I want...As long as I am using a different IP.
-
I can't tell if it's Youtube, my connection, or w/e you're using to record... But, it looks pretty laggy. It's an excellent concept, though. I'd also agree with Pol and have the rotation a bit smaller... Maybe something extra in the background... And possibly a little more detail on the map...

Epic failures are the best introduction to game design. It shows our greatest flaws, but in return sheds light on how to overcome those flaws. But, more importantly... Have fun! Glad to have ya here at RMXPUnlim. 8)

Your reputation precedes you, Hebi. Your loss is one of great consequence to the community. Hopefully, a new metamorphosis will shed light upon you, whom is so lost. ;)

(this is a quick run-through. if you need more detail, let me know) You'll need a Character Set of the Hero walking around as normal. And one of him swinging a Sword in all 4 Directions. Set up a parallel process common event. Check for Key Input Processing(set it to whatever button you want the Player to press for the Sword to swing). Now for every direction you'll need to have a new conditional branch. That part should look something like: Of course, in there somewhere you will probably need about 3-5 seconds or so of wait time for the Animation(i.e-the character movement) to take place.
-
Hm. Is it possible that the event changed the color display of the screen and you forgot to change it back? Could you take a screeny of the Event or type out it's commands so we can see?

Haven't tried this myself, yet. And it's for VX, but I'm sure it can be applied to XP, as well. Here's another. "Gardening System". Also for VX, but again...Most likely applicable to XP. Here's the same author's(as the above link) "Watering System", too. I know it's just links. But if it helps, it helps! ;)

Does TekTek let you do poses? I forgot, lol... If so, it wouldn't be hard to go with Tankentai Minkoff Battle System. Just make your own Custom Minkoff Battlers by using the poses from TekTek.

Hello. We've never met. But, welcome back! :P

For anyone who is interested... I've started to make a re-release of Infinite Journey. I plan on revamping the Battle System a little bit, mostly. There will also be some cosmetic changes to the game. As well as a new layout for the World Map. Oh, an I'm looking into a better way for the Questing to pan out. Which will most likely entail a new Quest Screen. I do not have a release date for this upcoming re-release. But, as soon as I get a more defined timeline, I'll let you all know. Expect new screenshots, soon!

I really like the storyline and the setting of this project. And, the way it's all displayed is very nice. Excellent work on that. Looking forward to hearing more about Steel Hearts. I suspect to write an article for my site about it, soon. In the meantime, I've bookmarked your website. God speed with the developing!

If you read the OP once again... You'll notice that it says... So, as I said. It's not a "clone". Because it does introduce a new feature... ...even if it is just coding with another language(i.e.-not Ruby). edit @ hostility lulz o.0" There's no need for that, really... He posted a thread that promoted a new Game Maker Engine. It's not really pointless if people who didn't know about EGM now know about it as a result of reading this thread. Right?
-
Gosh, Hebi. You're such a nark. XD
-
I agree with Marked. You can't really write this off as a clone... As it introduces a new feature(coding with C# and XBL support, as well?) This could possibly be what IGM should have been. lol Even with that said. I'm not buying anything w/o a trial of the program. x3

It's alright. There's way cooler fonts than stencils, though. Like this... hehehe -ninja-
