That's neat and all... But I have way too much to do when I'm on a computer already. :x

Thanks! I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say after you play it! :)

Really, if you think about that... If the amount of people Pirating the software BEFORE the price raise was enough to justify a price raise... The price was, most likely, too high for consumers, anyway...Right? Otherwise...there wouldn't have been enough people Pirating for Adobe to consider raising the price in the first place.

Excellent about the enemies. Just try upgrading your Sword more. That will do the trick. (Also there should be enough treasure in the first 2 rooms of the Dungeon should give you enough HP to survive) Remember. It's essentially a Dungeon Crawler. So, there will be a lot of fighting to improve yourself. The reason for the enemies in the first Dungeon being a little tough when you first start is that many Quests take place there. So, you'll be returning back there a lot. I didn't want the fights later on to be too boring. I'll take a look and see if I can correct the Escape option when I return home this evening.

It's an interesting business. Never even thought of that. Something, to me, doesn't seem right in fighting for the wallet of a multi-billion dollar company, though. And, I also agree with what Marked said. A downloaded torrent doesn't automatically equal money lost. ...it equals money not gained. If they were really hurting for money... Photoshop wouldn't be offered to an entire Office for not much more than 1-1/2 times the normal retail to an everyday consumer. THAT. is a friggin ripoff. (Not to mention, the price of software is already freaking absurd) But, I digress... Good luck in your endeavors!

Just for fun... Me Jas Wifey :D

Hmm.... all you would really need for that is just an extremely large game world, extremely large equipment database, an intricate crafting system, and VARIABLES... LOTS AND LOTS OF VARIABLES!

Are we talking about FanGames? or about Remakes? Because there's a pretty big difference. Remake?...in RPG Maker? mmmm... not so much. I'd be afraid that playing a crappy version of FF Tactics would ruin the original game for me. A FanGame, however, is completely different. In a FanGame, you can take, say Ivalice as it is in FFT, and expand upon it. Create a new Faction/Guild/Group of adventurers whose efforts are equally effected by the main story of FFT as are the characters' from FFT. ( I only cite all of this as an example, of course). A Remake, you'd eventually run into a system you'll need to implement that doesn't quite work well with RPG Maker... Also, "copying"(if you will) isn't very enthralling, IMO. That is to say...if I'm not the one thinking of the ideas(if I'm following another game's plot/format/etc), it would be very easy for me to get bored with what I'm doing... A creative mind needs to be creative. ;)

It's all friggin' sexy. 8)

The console versions you played were not developed by Enterbrain. Enterbrain, keep in mind, is the Developer of the RPG Maker Series on the PC. NOT the same people responsible for the RPG Makers(RPG Maker, RPG Maker 1, RPG Maker 2) on the Home Consoles. So, what you said is unfounded... You can't judge a Developer's work based on the shit-job of another Developer. My guess is that RMDS will be sort of like a Port of RMVX but w/o the Ruby. Apparently, they're also including the Famitsu Character Generator with RPG Maker DS. So, at least there's a little more option in the character choice...

Nope, it's not a final version. If you'll notice...the DL link says "Build 0.5". :) LMK what ya think, Frank!
-
Definitely can understand that. My old website, ProNet, was dedicated to RMVX. It was pretty short lived. But, I had a pretty substantial amount of traffic. As a result, I have tons of resources for it. I imagine I should get around to posting them around as soon as I make some time! Thanks for the reply! :)

Funny to see a lot of people are like me when it comes to planning. lmao. Perhaps that's why I've never really gone much farther than releasing a Demo of a project I've been doing. Oh well. More recently, though...I have began to think about at least rough-drafting a large Game World for all my projects to take place in... But, I have hardly enough time as it is. :D

2 Updates on this, in case anyone cares to hear about it... RPG Maker DS Sees Delay Japan was due to see RPG Maker DS release on January 28th, 2010, but that date is now a distant dream. It has been confirmed that the title is now going to be pushed back to March 11th, 2010. The reason for the delay was to improve quality. Let's hope the wait ends up being worth it, and that the game gets a localization! from gonintendo.com Online Game Sharing Famitsu just confirmed all the data-sharing options you could have hoped for in RPG Maker DS. What’s more, you can share data both locally and through online Wi-Fi. First up is "card data," which is the term used for things like items and monsters. If you like a monster or an item in a game your friend created, you can obtain it via grabbing his card data. Then you have game data, which is the term used for sharing entire games. You can even send games locally to someone without a copy of RPG Maker DS through download play, but just like demos, they’ll lose the data once they turn their DS off. RPG Maker DS releases in March 2010 for 5,460 yen. I doubt it’ll get localized but that doesn’t mean there isn’t an English-speaking community for the game. from joystiq.com

This seems like a very exciting project. I wish I could code, because I'd love to help. Anymore updates on the Interface? :o

Updated the original post a little bit. Please let tell me what you think of the game(if you happen to play it!)

Not surprised to see you here. But welcome, anyway! I'm willing to wipe the slate clean, if you are. ;)

I know this is a pretty late response...I went on a small hiatus after my little girl was born. I'm semi-active in the community(getting back into it more day by day) as of this month, though. lol ProNet is down, unfortunately. But, I'm working on a small side project(well a few actually). Both RM and nonRM stuff. Kiriashi, I think you signed up at my forums. I could be wrong. But that name looks familiar! @Marked The Forums I usually frequent have gotten bland in the past months. A few of my closest friends actually left it recently... But it was good to see xpunlimited also had VX support. :D Polraudio. Will do, my friend. It's nice to meet you! & Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! Hopefully I can be almost as active as Kiriashi. xP

Infinite Journey Created by Ragnyrok Build 0.5 This is the second game I ever released. This Build 0.5 release came out in October 2009. The project is long gone, so there won't be anymore changes or releases. Some of the mapping is pretty bad, I apologize. My current project, Eterna Dungeon, will have much better mapping and better character progression, as well. Please enjoy this little demo I have. Feedback is welcome, of course, but don't expect to see any changes in another release of Infinite Journey(as I said before). <3 In the distant future, you play the role of the Captain of a Space Cruiser, Edith II, sent by the Federation of Allied Planets to survey Planets in the Aja Prime Sector. When you find yourself lost in a random cave on a Planet you’ve never seen before, your primary focus shifts to discovering exactly how to get back your Crew and Edith II Alzenor is an Empire located on the Planet, Lekae V. It is one of two Empires on the Planet. Lekae V's technology is almost non-existant. But, it's inhabitants Magical Powers far surpass any other Planet's in the Aja Prime Sector. The Alzenor Empire is governed by the Emperor of the Alzenor Family. This same Family has reigned over Alzenor for all of time on Lekae V. The neighboring Empire of Galyn recently discovered Ancient Tomes and is withholding the contents of them from the Emperor Alzenor. Unique and Original Weapon Customization System, which allows you to forge the Weapon YOU want to use. Trading System that lets the player trade valuable resources by finding or buying them from one City, and carrying them to the next City. A Dungeon Crawler with plenty of Puzzles, and challenging Monsters. WEAPON CUSTOMIZATION SYSTEM Download

Hello. My name is Ultyma. Er, my alias is, anyway. lol. You can call me Ulty, or whatever. ;) I am the admin of the Prodigy Network site. Which started just as some RMVX forums. I've been using 'Makers since RM95+. Made the switch through all the more mainstreamish 'Makers, and now I play with VX. My favorites are VX and Network RPG Maker 2000. Hm. Now more personal, I guess. haha. I'm 24. Married. And have a little 6-week old girl named Jasmine chillin at home with her mommy. hehe. Learning alot about myself. Well, learned alot about myself since last year. I work for an E-Commerce company. We work on Sears.com, TractorSupply.com, and have actually just recently picked up Wal-Mart as a client... The data team I'm Assistant Manager for is working on the first Test Groups for Wal-Mart. Exciting stuffs. :D Anyway. Looking forward to posting here with everyone, and maybe meeting your active members. I really like the look of the forums. Came to download Face Maker, and had to register. I figured why not... haha. Sleek design had me hooked. Nice work! Oh yeah. I mostly come from RPGCrisis. One of the most active peoples there on EC's forum. So, yeah...HI! XD
