Lol....yeah this time I'll try to be a little more active on the posting...and, well, keeping it relevant. I now have been thinking more about where my project will go, but since I haven't touched XP in mo..maybe a year..I'll have to take some time to re-teach myself. Wait, I already said that, huh? Well....it's in the process :P

Well....this article gave me a good laugh. Didn't something like this happen back in the 80s? History is repeating itself left and right this century...

Sooo....I've been on an involuntary hiatus....but I'm back, for the most part. I hope I haven't been completely forgotten, but then again I wasn't that active to begin with >.> I haven't touched XP in months, so when I started it up a few days ago I had to re-teach myself some things.....especially those custom scripts O.o and going over my current project, I changed a lot too since I now have a pretty good understanding on where I'm going with it. yay! Let's see......I've been drawing a lot and playing more piano.....ehhhhh.....playing games (anticipating Fable III atm...) and I hope to actually work on my XP project. So.....that's it, I guess. I was gone, now I'm back. Yaay....

Okay, now I have no choice but to turn you in to the Sheriff

Thanks..? And I think puppies would make a more horrible scene, but that's just me

Thanks, I sometimes use Bleach for reference, some people tell me my manga art style is similar, just like when people tell me my cartooning is similar to Jhonen Vasquez (My characters are a less thin than his, though). I look at Bleach 90% for hands, the hands are drawn in really dynamic poses in Bleach and, well.....hands are kinda hard for me to draw. I don't trace at all, though. Tracing never works for me....nor does it help me get better...no offense to those that trace =)

Hi, guys. just here to dump some sketches I drew over the months. Most of them are characters for my comic-in-progress and others are just reference stuff. Instead of links I'll just put them here. Unfortunately I am currently busy and can't really be of service... All are in this spoiler tag....there are 12 images, fairly large, so there's a bit of scrolling.

Don't get me wrong, I like the series and I'm still playing Oblivion (I personally think Morrowind sucked.) but eventually the game gets boring kinda quick. I pretty much did every quest except for the Mage's Guild questline (The Dark Brotherhood questline is my favorite.). I'm also not really sucked into the game world as much as say other RPGs because of either the lack of emotion or the inconsistent moods from the NPCs. I could actually make a list of things I think is wrong with the game. But no game is perfect, and I still like the amount of freedom the game has to offer. Killing the Adoring Fan is the best thing ever.

Woah, please refrain from quadruple-posting... ..anyway, that sounds like a neat script to try out. I'll take a crack at it and if I figure it out, I'll let you know. ...wait, will this work with Mr. Mo's ABS? Or the default battle system? -
Okay....What is the square root of the number on the bar code of a box of cereal, minus 4 times 2 divided by the number of hamburgers served at McDonalds? Do you play any instruments? If I say "I always lie.", is it true? .....hey, don't look at me like that.

Yeah, I use RMXP on my netbook, and I'm not all that bothered by the screen scrolling. The thing about changing it back after opening it is that when you make an event or open up the database, the bottom is cut off so you can't click 'Ok' or the other buttons next to it. Moving the box won't help either. Hmm, I guess it depends on how big your windows are. Good to know I'm not the only nut who would do 'things' to make RMXP run on a netbook, even if it is just changing the resolution above its standards. Not really an EDIT but re-read the previous posts before posting EDIT: Oh, I guess the window thing is already mentioned. Nevermind!

Does anyone have a working link to a shifting puzzles script? I did find a topic on the script on Creationasylum but the topic was a few years old so the download links were broken. For those who don't know what a shifting puzzle is, its a little square puzzle that has the picture divided by squares, with one piece missing so you can shift the jumbles square pieces around to show the image: Example Shifting Puzzle site: Link to Puzzle Box (Part 1, step 2) Its like that, only instead of clicking the squares, you select a highlighted square and move it to a possible space using the arrow keys. (confusing..?)

Oh well. I'll be looking forward to the L4D2 dlc, though...I miss the old survivors.

lol, yeah, I can see now.........hmm, there really was no port town, was there?

I just finished playing and...well, now I feel much much better about my own project... ....(Won't say name to avoid spoilers) made me laugh, I also liked the commentary.

I dunno, I've seen pretty crappy brands that cost a lot (not saying that Alien Ware is crappy, no no.....you know what I mean.) I personally use my Dell Inspiron Mini 10' netbook with Windows XP. It's not as fancy as others (nor is it expensive, my 160g was about...200 bucks) but I am able to do everything I was able to do on a regular computer (RMXP (I have to change the screen res whenever I run RMXP, so I do have screen-scrolling, which I can live with), WoW, Synthesia, FoF, TuxGuitar, hell I even have PSP, PS2 and N64 emulators running on it.) Anyhoo, that one Pol mentioned above looks neat. I may be on the computer a lot but I don't have the whole brands and spec knowledge like others do. If it works fine for me, then I consider it good. ....sorry if all this random gibber wasn't helpful. Just trying slowly to be active again.

You wanna know what I was looking at, huh?

.....for being MIA for the past....however long I've been gone. Things have been busy lately. For those who still remember me, I am sorry for my long absence. I got a digital piano for Christmas and I've been learning new stuff (As a somewhat 'request' before, I have learned Terra's Theme for you, Crimson Inferno =D). I have also been working on my manga and I started doing sketches on my second comic, I'll put some pics up soon ;) I also was a victim to the BSoD, or the "Blue Screen of Death", and had to replace my netbook harddrive. Sooo, yeah, and I have school tomorrow. I just came to tell you guys that I haven't forgotten about you all. Cheers, Happy.

Of course you do! Why else would you be looking in here? Huh? Oh, right.....Anyhoo, I've been dabbling in the art of spriting so if you need any human sprites give me a pony-express and don't be afraid to give me specifics. I only do human sprites at the moment, and that excludes side-view battlers. I could try and make an animated sprite for those ABS games, but they will take longer. My skills are limited at the momento, but I can still get you a good walk-around sprite. I bid you adieu and I will see you all soon. Very soon. Muha.....muhahahahahahaha!!! Is he joking?? Ahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Their songs are beautiful. I can play most of them, some are easy and some are hard. There's no middle difficulty for their songs.....Let me bring up the synthy keyboard solo in Sacrament of Wilderness....it is freaking murder on your fingers :o (not to mention during it you have to use the pitch-bender at the right moments). Hmm, I think I'll put up some of their songs to listen to in the media forum, for all to sample, and to make it easier for crimson to look through their songs if she ever wants to. Oh, here I am rambling again.
-
I hope you like Nightwish, because I have a LOT of sheet music from them (good beginner songs would be Nemo, Ever Dream and Amaranth). They are a good keyboard-dependant band. Take a listen to them and if you like 'em let me know if you need any sheets from them. (An awesome song to learn would be the keyboard solo in Over the Hills and Far Away, it sounds difficult but it's actually quite easy.). I have some other bands too so you can kinda refer to me as your sheet music vendor :P

Hmm, yeah that's what I meant. I knew about the scripting parts..I wanted to be sure. I'll have to experiment with this one. Thanks for the replyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy .......dang y key.

Oh, I mean keyboarding as in a portable, electrical sound-effect making piano. I tried playing a typing keyboard, but it burst into flames.

Oh my god, this movie totally killed DBZ. it was worse than the old Street Fighter Movie. This movie made me want to blast a combination of Kamehameha/Hadoken/Falcon Punch at the people who thought this was a good idea.

what have you done with my topic title, you cursed n key?! oh, yeah. I have a little question. How would I go about making expansions for my game that don't corrupt save files? Like, adding new quests or maps and stuff like that.
